Resizing the iTunes window
Apologies for the seemingly silly question, but i can't resize my iTunes window as the little square at the bottom right corner is below the dock, and i can't raise the window high enough to expose it as the top toolbar stops it.
The green button just shrinks the window into an unexpandable control panel.
Any ideas?

I no longer see all of my songs/CD's in the iTunes window that are on my iPad. I am afraid to upgrade. Where are all of the titles that are on my iPad when I sync my iPad with my computer? The iTunes window used to show everything.

Ipod nano 6G. Where is Nike + iPod tab appears in the iTunes window?
I read manual at page 39.
Upload your steps or workout information to Nike+:
1 Connect iPod nano to your computer and open iTunes.
2 Click Send in the dialog that appears, and then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your Nike+ account. Once you set up your account, a Nike + iPod tab appears in the iTunes window.
3 Click the Nike + iPod tab, and then select “Automatically send workout data to Nike+” if it isn’t selected already.
4 Click Apply.
To view and share your information on the Nike website, click Visit Nike+ in the Nike + iPod pane when iPod nano is connected to your computer, or go to www.nikeplus.com and log in to your account.
But, I dont watch this tab in my iTunes. Windows 8.1, iTunes 12.1.1.4 64 bit.I install iTunes 10.7.0.21 at another computer and I watch tab Nike+iPod.
Is iTunes 12.1.1.4 not compatible with ipod nano 6G ? -
The drop down view by menu (Song, album, etc) at the right side of the iTunes window is like a ghost. It flashes into view for a millisecond once in awhile but never lets me click on it. Anyone know what this is about and what to do?
Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

I can't resize the reply window in Mac Mail
My mail is working fine.
If I write a new email it all looks okay.
If I reply or forward an email the window is so wide it would stretch maybe 3 times the width of my screen, so if I want to use any of the tools in the top right toolbar I have to drag the window across.
I can resize up and down to make the window taller or shorter but I can't make it fit onto my screen widthways.
I have rebooted, hit zoom and now I'm stumped.
Any suggestions?

In Normal screen mode on Mac OS, resize the application window by dragging its lower right corner.
Click the green Zoom button (), located beside the Close and Minimize buttons at the left of the title bar. The application window expands to fill the screen. Click the Zoom button again to return to the previous window size.
Reposition the application window on your screen by dragging the title bar. -
What do I do if "photos" is not showing up under "My Device" when I plug my phone in and the iTunes windo opens? I had my phone reset yesterday b/c of picture texting/software problems. It wiped it clean! I had to start again like it was a NEW phone and use my backup info on my computer to sync my information. I have restored my contacts, calendars, music, etc...but, I can't get my pictures back. HELP!

I am unable to see my iPhone in the itunes window. I authorized the computer but it still will not show. Under devices it is not listed. Any suggestions?
You do see the devices heading on the left sidebar? If you don't see the sidebar, go to View>Show sidebar in the iTunes menu and then check to see if the device appears.
If that isn't the problem, go through the troubleshooting steps. It could be the Apple Mobile Device Service issue.

How can I downsize the itunes window if the bottom is outside the screen?
I have imported the files from my old 17in. Mac Book Pro into a new 15in. one. In the old one the window occupied the whole screen, in the new one it still shows up as a 17 incher and the bottom part of the itunes window actually falls off the screen and cannot be pulled up. This prevents me from accessing the lower right corner to decrease the window size. Are there any other ways to achieve this ?

When I quit itunes it restarts again with the dot under the itunes logo but the iTunes window doesn't open until I click the icon on the dock. Also in the middle of the size vale in the size column the value starts with a number then a ? then a number.

How do you restore the "Last Date Played" note in the iTunes window of playlists? I lost this a couple of weeks ago, and had someone explain the steps to take (which are not on the iTunes "Help" menu). Thanks.
In the playlist, Right Mouse click on the column headers and it will give you a list to choose from in the pop up select Last Played and that column will display

Scroll bar obscures the bottom line in the iTunes window
This is not a question, but an observation about a problem with the current implementation of the appearing/disappearing scroll bars in the iTunes window. Apple should have a left some exta space at the bottom so that the bottom item would not be obscurred by the scroll bar.

It sounds like Windows recognizes that your devices are conneted, but iTunes does not. I recommend the troubleshooting from the article named:

Interesting point. As I said, I have done all this of course,. Hence I doubted my interpretation of the Help Page instructions.
However I find, even now, that when I drag the right edge of the window over to what would be half way across my second screen if it were connected (it is disconnected right now because the monitor has died and I haven't replaced it yet) still all I can get are the options as far right as the crop tool. That's it.
