Resolve iOS 8 issues - lagging, non-responsive screen and on-button, pages not loading, 3G use constantly curtailed.
Since updating my iPad2 with iOS 8 and the subsequent upgrade, my iPad has, ti allintents and purpses, become more of a burden than a useful everyday tool.
Specifically, there are many, many issues that are causing total havoc, namely:
- pages lag on loading, or simply do not load AT ALL, going back to the App page instead
- the ON button is non-responsive about 5 times out of 8 that I will want to switch it on
- the 3G cellular use is virtually non-existant. To use 3G, I first have to go to SETTINGS, then RESET ALL NETWORK SETTINGS, then wait 5 minutes. This will give me between 3 and 26 hours 3G use
- there is some kind of "jerkinness" when switching between the app page and actual app.
Whereas in the past all functions worked seamlessly, now I find that the iPAD has become totally unreliable. To make matters worse, when I approached the Apple support team nearest to me, I was told that many of these are common issues that have come about with the latest upgrade, and that if I wish, Apple will replace my iPAD2 with a like product for €299.00. As I have not caused the issues through mishandling or mis-use, this should not be replaced AT MY COST. Had I wanted a new one, I'd have bought a new one!!!!!!
Please advise how best to evolve these issues.

Neglect the reset and when it says place the iPod in recovery mode use one of thes programs
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod Nano 7th Generation couldn't be detected by iTunes when I plugged in. I tried resolving the issue by uninstalling the iTunes and then install it back again but yet still the same problem exist. Can you please help me to solve this issue? You should be able to turn it off on the iPad by using 'a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process' and 3 fingered scrolling to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn it 'off' (so to use the 'slide to unlock' tap the slider and then double-tap it, and to type your passcode tap a digit and then double-tap it etc), or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

GT70 Dominator screen and touch buttons issue
Hi guys
Got myself a GT70 Dominator and everything works well except for the screen and touch buttons sometimes.
First of all the screen. It works well BUT it starts to flicker sometimes. The screen is working and then suddenly it just starts to flicker and everything is doubled for 20-40 seconds. I have the latest GPU drivers for my nvidia and intel GPU's.
And the thing with my touch buttons is that, the G button, the one left of the G button and the Media player button are not working(Plane mode, keyboard lighting and cooling buttons are all working).
Any help is much appreciated!
UPDATE: The touch buttons started working again just out of the blue ...I've never heard of something like that with the screen. If it's still rather new, I'd probably consider sending it back to MSI for them to look at it.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning device recognition issues:

Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.

09 I Mac goes asleep ends up with a spinning disk on the screen and the mac will not respond has to be rebooted
First this:
In EnergySaver deselect "put the hard disk to sleep when possible". You must logout after the setting to make this effective.
This probably will not solve it, but let it be deselected.
When the issue is still there:
Open Terminal;
copy/paste following command (after every command hit "enter" key)
pmset -g | grep hibernatemode
when the answer is not 3 write it down;
then copy/paste following command
sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
reboot
Open Terminal;
copy/paste following command
sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage
after that type EXIT in Terminal and close Terminal.
This does following for you:
it will set the hibernatemode to zero: the sleepimage (a copy of the complete ram) will not be written and the space on the HD is freed up.
This sleepimage does not do anything for you but taking time at sleep/hibernate and startup. It is an old remnant of earlier days. -
