RESOLVED On Premises (intranet use only) Exchange Certificate Help (Please)!

I apologize in advance for what may end up being a very silly issue.
I have racked my brain and read and searched and I still can't seem to find the answer to my question.
I have an in house Exchange server that is only accessible internally. We do not have external clients (laptops/tablets/etc) and all computers stay on premises. Most of our clients use OWA to access email. Everything has been working fine up until about
2 weeks ago when everybody started getting a certificate error. I have tried every thing I can find to fix this issue to no avail. It seems the thumbprint of the certificate is different each time I visit the exchange server (https://exchange/owa). So I can
install the certificate which works for a few minutes and then it prompts me again. When looking at the thumb print of each instance, everything seems to be exactly the same with the exception of the thumbprint.
My first question, is do I still need to go through a CA even though this server is not accessible via external IP?
Where are my clients getting the certificate they are trying to install because they do not match the certificate that is installed on the Exchange Server.

I'm not sure I do. This project landed in my lap a few years ago. This particular client is my only client
with exchange. I have limped my way though to this point but I'm afraid I'm just not clear on what it is I actually need.
We are running Exchange 2013 on a Server 2008 box. Everything worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago. I have no idea what changed.
I think my biggest problem is my lack of understanding of where the client is pulling the certificate when I access the intranet site. I don't understand why the certificate (whether valid or not) isn't matching the certificate within IIS/Exchange admin.

I think you can check your certificate information and provide the information here for more help. Please run the following command in Exchange Management Shell:
Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl
Additionally, since the certificate issue occurs when accessing Exchange server from OWA, please check the OWA configuration in your Exchange:
Get-OwaVirtualDirectory | FL Identity,*Authentication*,*url*
Generally, the namespace used in the OWA URL should be included in the Exchange certificate which is assigned with IIS service.

    Hi.
    Having various problems with a USB stick that is formatted in EX-FAT.
    It was working fine for a long period.
    Yesterday I lent it to a friend to put some things on it.
    Now when I try and work on it, I get messages like this.
    Mac OS X can’t repair the disk “Disk Name"
    You can still open or copy files on the disk, but you can’t save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can.
    It will also randomly eject the drive.
    I have tried to reformat it multiple times, in mac and windows.
    [I have never used it in windows previous to this occasion of needing to reformat].
    In windows, it crashes the disk when I attempt to format with disk manager [I attempted this due to advice in an internet article].
    In Mac , I cannot even try to reformat it, because for some reason the permissions on the USB stick have been set to "read only" and I cannot find any way to change them to read-write, or full permissions, or whatever is appropriate.
    I have tried "erase" disk in disk utility. I know how to do a full reformat, but it simply will not allow me to do so.
    All the options are greyed out.
    Does anybody have any information or links they can point me to?
    I've been searching around.

    Start over:
    select the drive > select the Partition tab > select 1 Partition
    select Option > select GUID Partition Table > select OK
    name it > click the Apply button > then lastly click Partition

    Hello I am having big problems at the moment with a slow computer when I am using Photoshop CS5 I am informed that I am low on memory.  I do not store any photographs on my computer they are all on an external hard drive, the only image on the computer are the ones I am working with.  I have been in touch with Norton who think it is an Adobe issue can anyone help please, looking forward to hearing from you and to a swift fix of the problem

  • I only ever activated one license for cs5 mac. Stuck using PC now. Help please.

    A CS5 mac license is only for a Mac and cannot be exchanged for a PC. One way out is to upgrade for $200 to CS6 and order a free Platform swap to PC.

    Hello mate ! Thanks for your reply. However if you take a look at this screen shot you'll see I have nothing more then a few photos (2.1 GB)  and 2 tiny little apps but the memory still looks filled up... with air in my opinion. Maybe you got another suggestion .  Thanks a lot my friend

    The command that seems to be causing problems for Exchange is this one:
    A4 APPEND "Sakai-Dev List" (\Deleted \Seen NonJunk) "21-Aug-2007 16:37:20 -0400" {7024+}
    As far as I can see, there's nothing wrong with the syntax of that command.
    My first guess is that Exchange is unhappy with the flags. Possibly
    it refuses to append a message with the \Deleted flag set. If you're
    willing to modify the flags in the source mailbox, I would try turning
    off the DELETED flag. Or, try not copying deleted messages.
    If that doesn't work, the next thing to try is to get rid of all of the
    flags. You might want to copy the message into a local copy
    in order to lose all the flags from the original.

  • Can't use google. Little help please

    For some reason I cannot use Google as a search engine or access its website. Would really like to resolve this. Any help is really appreciated.
    Things I have tried:
    1.) Ping google and it was successful
    The address it is using is 173.194.117.242
    To make things weird, if I use this numerical address in the search cue I in fact get access to the google website
    2.) I flushed the DNS in "Terminal"
    Not sure if that did anything. I read somewhere to try it

    I do live in South Korea so that's why its in Korean. Basically it tells me I need to update google chrome (which I am not even using) or download some binary patch that really only is meant for Microsoft users so it doesn't work on my computer anyway.
    So...Why is it that I can reach 173.194.117.242 (google) but then am directed to that strange web page in korean when I use google as a search engine in my browser (firefox,safari)

  • Pulse dialling only !! Help please

    Hello, I am about at the end of my tether.....I have moved into a new build property and have a BT home hub.  For some reason which is beyond my comprehension I am unable to dial out unless I set my phone to 'pulse' dialling instead of 'tone'
    This means that all of the automated answering services drive me mad as I cant use them...I have to listen to the press one for this, press two for that for ages before they might just connect me to a person.
    The phone works perfectly in another house so to my mind it is a problem within my property.
    I have followed the troubleshooting guide which tells me what to do to check an outside connector - all up to the retest the line which I cant as the phone is completely dead.
    I have lost patience with trying to explain to someone at BT - I'm not sure if I am not explaining properly or they just dont understand..... Surely a new property should be able to use tone dialling ????

    It it could be caused by a faulty line card in the telephone exchange.
    BT should be able to arrange to have the line checked at the exchange by an Openreach frames technician.
    If a fault is detected, they should be able to move your line to a different piece of equipment.
    Report the fault as "unable to dial out", do not mention that it works on pulse dial, as many of the fault reception people will not understand what you mean. Pulse dialling is a legacy system and not always understood !

  • Dv73060us connected to t v via HDMI Audio only from PC Help, please OS is Windows 7

    I have connected my pc , using HDMI cable, to the TV, Everything seems to work well except for the fact that the audio is through the pc only. I went to control panel. hardware, sound and made the hdmi option the default.Audio still from pc only. Someone's help, please

    The brand of TV makes a difference sometmes... older Philips TVs in particular are fussy and have their own setup in the control panels (cannot recall where, this is from a thread from last ... Oct?  I think I can find it if you need the info).
    There is an "Order of Events" that needs to be followed; it is more important sometimes than others.
    If the issue is a "simple one", then this may help as a "Check List":
    Resolving HDMI Display and Sound Issues
    Reprint of an earlier post - something here may work:
    NOTE:  If this does work, the "Hard Reset" rule applies - it should "stick", that is, you shouldn't have to do it this way each time - it's just a matter of getting it set up.
    Order of Events - A "Hard Reset" of the HDMI Audio Setup:
    Enable Digital Audio (S/PDIF)
    Connect HDMI  from computer toTV’s HDMI/DVI input port
    Set your TV input to HDMI/DVI input.   (You won’t have sound yet.)
    Turn of the TV.  Shut down the computer.
    Boot the computer - wait for it to boot all the way.  Log in.
    Sound should be "dead" - no system sounds at this point. 
    All the audio should be going through the HDMI port.
    If not, and you are getting sound, try setting "Digital Audio" setting (if you have it) as an option, [quote] "although this should not be necessary."
    Remove any headphones and any other non-HDMI output from computer and Reboot.
    If you get sound, it's still not ready - play with the sound output.
    When you get it to the point where the sound is "dead" (while the HDMI port is still connected) after you reboot, you are ready.
    Turn on the TV.
    Check for Sound through the HDMI port.  Should be working.

    Over the past month and a half I'm starting to get regular and increasing crashes, mostly in my Adobe CS3 programs with this error:

    I am starting to get towards my wit's end and want to rule out hard drive or logic board problems. Today after I got this crash in Dreamweaver and Fireworks (for the first time in FW), all my programs stopped opening and responding. I am noticing in Activity monitor 2 continuous stalls:

    I am having a very similar problem with Dreamweaver 8 running
    on OS X10.4.11.
    If I choose passive FTP, Dreamweaver appears to upload a
    file, when in fact the error logs reports that the file could not
    be upload because it was not found, or because of permission
    problems.
    If I do not upload with passive FTP , Dreamweaver 8 crashes
    & Dreamweaver 8 loses the site's root folder, informing me that
    it cannot be found and I must use the manage sites feature to
    recreate the cache for the site that was there.
    If I use FETCH, no problem... all files are uploaded
    successfully.
    I recently had a hard drive failure on my Mac, had a new HD
    installed by the folks at the Genius Bar, and thought perhaps my
    new HD was buggy... however, now it seems there must a a
    permissions problem built into the Dreamweaver FTP protocols.
    I have not seen a patch for this, although when I reinstalled
    the software, I did download all updates.
    I know my reply offers no solutions, but I do thank you for
    your post.

  • Loadjava and jpub in web service using UTL_DBWS giving errors - Help Please

    Solicit your help in the below-mentioned scenario.
    I am trying to access some published web services from 9.2.0.1.0 RDBMS using UTL_DBMS API. I have accomplished the same using UTL_HTTP. I have followed the instructions specified in:
    'http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/java/jsp/callout_users_guide.htm#Web_Service_Callout_Utility_Download_'
    to prepare the database, download Callout Utility for pre-10g RDBMS (ZIP, 5.68MB), JPub 9.2.0.1.0 Production and OC4J Release 10.1.2 (standalone) and set the environment variables.
    loadjava ran successfully for:

    Any help in resolving these issues will be appreciated. Kindly also advise which api – UTL_HTTP or UTL_DBWS I should go for and why.

  • What is using the memory? help please.

    i just noticed that in the bottom of my finder it says i only have 7.42 gb available. i do have a lot of photos and music on my computer, but i have taken off things like garage band, which i never use.
    i feel like 7.42 is very little, and i am wondering if there is a way to see what is using the memory (and how much each application is using). i just have an ibook g4 and i didn't get anything added to it when i bought it, i am just worried i have a bug eating my memory.
    any suggestions?

    WhatSize will show you the size of every file/folder on your computer. Photos can take up a lot of space especially if you have the individual files and have imported them into iPhoto. In that case you have two of each.
    It's doubtful there's any bug taking the hard drive space. Over time we just accumulate more and more and slowly run out of space.

  • Using LOOKUPVALUE--need urgent help please

    Hello,
    what im trying to do is grab the first date when someone bought a product. I have 2 tables. 1 where my products are registered with product ID and the other table shows when the item was bought. What im trying to do is show in the first table only the date
    where item was first bought. Im using lookupvalue and gives me an error because I have repeated itemsID  in the dates list.
    How could I only grab the first date??

    What that measure does is find the smallest value in your fact table - MIN( ... ), but this function is evaluated in a special context.
    CALCULATE() allows us to change the context that we evaluate a function in. What we're doing is changing the context so that we evaluate MIN() only on the rows in the table specified by FILTER().
    FILTER() takes a table, and then iterates row-by-row over that table, performing the logical test that we specify. It returns only those rows that have a true value for that test. The test is checking that the [itemsID] on the current row (current row in
    our iteration using FILTER()) is equal to the [itemsID] from the row of the product dimension that this whole expression (CALCULATE( MIN(...), FILTER(...))) is being evaluated for. EARLIER() says, "I know my current row refers to the current row in my
    iteration through FILTER(), but there is also a current row in the table where this calculated column is defined - give me the latter meaning of current row."
