Hi Jatin,
Based on my knowledge, i have given some points please have a look .
1.You need to check the x500 address on the mailbox user (i.e user2) is assigned in proper format or not.In some cases that x500 value will get missed for a mailbox and in your case it could be user2 mailbox.
2.Please add the below mentioned x500 value to the user2 mailbox and check whether you are getting the same error.
/O=client COMPANY2/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=abf582692ef2485c9fab6f7bbfc6dee5-UUSER NAME
Note : On the above value between exchange administrative group and (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT) , you have to provide single space.

    Hi Ed,
thanks for reply and sorry for late reply, been alot to do lately With lots if migrations and errors.
YEs you are correct that the problem is caused by useraccount was in wrong OU and was not sync to the "Cloud".
Move users Object to correct OU and all was working fine.Strange this is that it have worked before,so does it mean that if user is not in the OU defined to synced,it will be removed from the cloud?
    Br
Ill put it as resolved :)

I have read Internet about this case. And this solutions help to us, but only for one month... But it comes again and again. I
have read information about X500 address, but these all cases involved
a local user. When error comes description is about wrong X500 for local user. Why my Exchange 2010 SP3 doesn't send email to external domain, but looking in local database? Of course this address absent in database, because it is
    external address.
Can be this is due to the fact that the user stores more than 30,000 messages in one folder and OAB always crushed?
This problem has only one user, and only while he write to Exchange Online domain.
    Thank you!

    Hello,
Please try to use owa to send a message to exchange online user to check the result.
Because there are many messages, I recommend you set retention policy, and then apply it to the user's mailbox.

    Hi,
According to your description, I found that delivery failed when sent email from Exchange 2013 to Office 365. Following is my understanding, please correct me if there is any misunderstanding.
    1. The sender Md. Mahmudul Hasan's mailbox holding in Exchange 2013 server.
    2. The recipients' (in "To" and "Cc" field) mailboxes holding in Office 365.
    3. When the sender Md send email to the recipients, delivery failed and got the NDR "Remote Server returned '550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found'".
If it is the case, please verify the recipients' email addresses.
If the recipients are all moved from Exchange 2013 to Office 365, this issue may occur if the on-premises mail-enabled user who represents the moved mailbox isn't stamped correctly with the target address.
The Exchange server generates an NDR message because the on-premises Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) can't locate the user in order to route the mail correctly.
More details in the following KB:
"Delivery has failed" and "550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound" NDR after a mailbox is moved to Office 365

    Hope it is helpful

  • Smtp;550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found

    hello All,
I am getting the above error when i send a mail from external domain. I have exchange server 2010 on and O365 account. From last 2 months i am not using O365 account and even active sync is also not working. And recently O365 subscription was over. So now
non -synced users are not getting mails from external domain. Please find the below complete error.
The email address you specified couldn't be found or is invalid. It may be due to a bad entry in your Outlook or Outlook Web App recipient AutoComplete cache. Use the steps below to delete the entry from the cache:
    Click New mail.
In the To field start typing the recipient's name or email address until the recipient appears in the drop-down list.
Use the DOWN ARROW and UP ARROW keys to select the recipient, and then press the DELETE key.
Then resend your message – delete and retype the recipient’s name or e-mail address before sending it.

    Hi,
Have you tried deleting the bad entry in your Outlook or Outlook Web App recipient AutoComplete cache as the error message suggested? If not, please have a try on it.
In addition, this issue may also occur if the on-premises mail-enabled user who represents the moved mailbox isn't stamped correctly with the target address. The Exchange server generates an NDR message because the on-premises Active Directory Domain Services
(AD DS) can't locate the user in order to route the mail correctly. To resolve it, please refer to this KB article:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2685437
Also have a look at the following article regarding 5.1.1 error:

    Hello,
I have issue when sending email to some addresses. Server respond with:
Remote Server returned '550 5.1.0 RESOLVER.ADR.InvalidInSmtp; encapsulated INVALID address inside an SMTP address (IMCEAINVALID-)'
My enviroment: Exchange 2013, Outlook 2010 - no cached mode. Issue happend with two email addresses but not always.
Any suggestion, how to resolve issue?
    Thx.

    Hi Tomas,
Does this issue occur in OWA? How is the impact, only one user or all users?
Please try to run Outlook under safe mode to avoid add-ins and AVs.
If there is any 3rd party add-ins, please try to disable them for testing.
    Thanks

  • Is it posible to customize the"RESOLVER.ADR.RecipLimit; too many recipients " NDR in Exchange Server 2010?

if using recipient limits, is it possible to customize or at least reduce the following NDR. If we have the limit set to say50 and someone tries to send to 100, each individual address will be listed, i.e.:
    [email protected]
    #550 5.5.3 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipLimit; too many recipients ##
    user2#domain.com
    #550 5.5.3 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipLimit; too many recipients ##
    [email protected]
    #550 5.5.3 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipLimit; too many recipients ##
Can this be suppressed or reduced to only say This message wasn't delivered to anyone because there are too many recipients. The limit is 50. This message has 100 recipients.

    Hi,
I have a test in my environment using Exchange 2010. You can use the following cmdlet to change the text to "This message wasn't delivered to anyone because there are too many recipients. The limit is 50. This message has 100 recipients."
New-SystemMessage -DsnCode 5.5.3 -Language en -Internal $true -Text "This message wasn't delivered to anyone because there are too many recipients. The limit is 50. This message has 100 recipients."
Here is the result for your reference.
Based on my knowledge, I'm afraid that the following information can't be changed.
    Hope it helps.

    Hi,
Base on my research, the issue is caused by the duplicate address.
You can refer to the following method to figure out where the duplicate address is:
Open the properties of the user's mailbox in the Exchange Management Console
    Click the Email Addresses tab
Rename the primary email address (the one that's bolded)
Rename it back to the original
    Click Apply
You will get an error telling you the other user that is using that email address (it will specify the AD user and locations, see below).
You can now locate the offending account and correct it's email address.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks.

  • #550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found ## for all emails to one of my domains

    Hi All
I can see this question has been asked allot, but none of the answers seem to be the same as my issue
    Exchange  2007 / SBS 2008
I have 3x domain email addresses for all of my recipients
    @domain1.com (default reply)
    @domain2.com
    @domain3. com
    @domain4.com
all of a sudden, all emails getting sent to anyone with @domain2.com are bouncing, to start with there was no reponse, but the mail logs were showing "550 5.1.1 User unknown" in the logs
So I unticked "Block messages to recipients not listed in the GAL" on exhange anti spam, after this the messages were getting to the exchange server, but then getting bounced with the above message
I have tried removing domain2.com from the email address policy and the acceprted domains, and readding it, but it made no difference
all my other domains still work fine, its only this one
I'm at my wits end with this, if anyone can shed some light it would be appreciated
Let me know what other info i need to provide
    Cheers

No issues related to the GAL in the event log
I have disabled all the anti spam features
first I restarted all the services, no change, then I booted the whole sever and that made no difference
all the domains are set up as authoritive
the domain2.com is a seccondary email address for all users, so
    user1 has
[email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
I can email successfully to user1 on all emails execpt for [email protected], that bounces, and the same issue occurs for everyone not just mail sent to user1, so its definitely related to domain2.com
    it's really odd
    any other ideas
    Cheers

  • Outlook 2013 - User cannot send email to one person

One of our users got a new computer and is running Outlook 2013. They can send emails with no trouble, except to one of our other users. It always
gets rejected and the sender gets an email telling them the one they tried to send was undeliverable. She's running Windows 8.1.
    1. Both the sender and the receiver are using Exchange accounts
    2. Both computers are on the same network, but neither are on a domain.
    3. Error message: The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. Please check the recipient's e-mail address and try to resend the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

    Hi,
How does the user fill the "To" field in a new message? If she fill it via auto-complete cache, please try to delete the auto-complete cache entry via clicking the "X" icon and then type the email address in the "To" filed. Send the email and check
    if this issue continues.

  • Error when other people send me a meeting request

    Dear Microsoft,
When other people send me a meeting request, they get the error you can see below (it says: "Your message can not be delivered to the following
people or distribution lists"). The strange thing is that I receive as well the meeting request and I can accept it. However, it is confusing for the people who send me the request, so can you help me to fix te problem?
I use Outlook 2010, but I had also this problem with an older version. I have not had this problem always. The problem started when I authorized a colleague
to look in my calendar (but, if I cancel the authorization it doesn't help, so I really don't understand what is going wrong!).
I really hope you know a solution of this problem.
    Kind regards,

    Hi Dineke,
You can contact your Exchange administrator to run the following command to check it:
Get-Mailbox –Identity yourname | Select Name, HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled
Or you can view your colleague’s Default Global Address List in OWA to check whether you are listed there or not.
Please check whether there is any transport rule or Outlook rule setting in your mailbox. Also change a new computer and create a new Outlook profile to have a try.
    Best Regards,

  • DSN code 5.1.1 in Exchange Online delivery failed

I've seen many questions about this error and can't seem to get a suitable solution for my situation, I attempted to install office 365 in a hybrid mode and abandoned the attempt after having various issues. I removed all connections and configurations with the
on premise server and I have two domains, one is my on premise one is only office 365 now. when I log onto my office 365 account and try to email my other on premise domain I get this error, the email address I'm mailing is not on Office 365 but office
365 online seems to think it is, I've tried all the clearing cache, same thing happens whether I use chrome or internet explorer, when I configure my office 365 in outlook 2013 I can send email to it, I can even email the account when sending from
outlook lite using online 365 just not the un-lite version. I've deleted all mail from my office 365 account, deleted all contacts, reset the recent cache many times.
My DNS for office 365 account is setup according to Microsoft recommendation, my dns for on premise has not been changed to reflect anything being in office 365.
I can email my on premise accounts from anywhere except my office 365 online non-lite outlook web app. I can even email it form other office 365 accounts.
I removed personal info from the following

According to the information you provided, since you can email to these recipients without issue when using the other clients, the issue may be related to the cache in OWA (Outlook Web App). To solve the issue, I suggest you try the following steps:
Log into OWA, click “new mail” to compose a new message.
In the “To:” tab, type the first letter of email address for the recipient, if it’s cached in OWA before, there will be a drop down list popping up. If so, please move the mouse on the mail address in the drop down list, then press the Delete key to delete
the cache. If however you don’t see the drop down list when typing the user’s email address, please continue the following steps.
Log into EAC (Exchange Admin Center), click “recipients”—“contacts”.
Create a new contact using the external email address, this make sure the user is added as an external contact in the global address list.
Back to OWA, in the new mail window, click the add icon in the right corner of the To tab.
In the pop-up window, click the “>>” icon, under the Directory tab, click “Offline Global Address List”, then select the contact we just created. Send the message out, then check if the issue persists.

  • Recreate an alias / distribution group that was deleted

I had an allusers@ distribution group setup in Exchange 2010 so I can send an email to all of my users.  I never remember to add new people and found out about the Dynamic Distribution Group.
I deleted the old allusers@ in Exchange Management Console.  I recreated allusers@ with the "New Dynamic Distribution Group" wizard in EMC.  I get it to find all of the user names and I complete the creation.
Now when I email [email protected] I get an undeliverable message with the following error:
    IMCEAEX-_O=FIRST+20ORGANIZATION_OU=EXCHANGE+20ADMINISTRATIVE+20GROUP+20+28FYDIBOHF23SPDLT+29_CN=RECIPIENTS_CN=[email protected] #550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound;
    not found ##
I tried restarting the server to refresh things and that didn't solve it.
I tried deleteing the Dynamic Group and recreating the normal ditribution group, but that failed again.
Creating allusers2@ as a dynamic distribution group and emails are delivered.
I went to allusers2@ properties and the E-mail addresses tab.  I add allusers@.  When I try to send to allusers@, it fails.
Any advice how to get allusers@ to work?

Thanks for your continued help in this.  I deleted the allusers@ reference in my auto complete and rebooted my PC.  I waited around 45 minutes before typing in [email protected]  allusers@ didn't work, but allusers2@ did.
This server is a Small Business Server 2011.  It hosts Exchange 2011 and our Active Directory.  Sharepoint has been configured on it, but we haven't used it yet.
Are they any other workarounds instead of clearing the whole autocomplete file.  Like I said, my users typically use it as their contact list and will be lost without it.
    Hi,
Yes, you can add the old legacyExchangeDN as an X500 Emailaddress on the new group you created.
In the NDR above we can see that the value for it would be:
    /o=FIRST ORGANIZATION/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=All23a

  • Exchange User Cannot Email A Remade Account

Staff member left and came back to the company so the email was deprovisioned and reactivated.  When users aren't able to email him we delete any cached email entries and out of the 50 or so users that had an issue, only 1 has not been resolved.  This
particular user gets a bounce back email stating:
    Generating server: OurServerName.domain.local
    IMCEAEX-_O=domain_OU=domain+2ENET_cn=Recipients_cn=[email protected]

Everything in italics has been edited by me.  Any idea on how to fix this?  I read a number of articles and tried to enter a x500 entry but that didn't seem to work.  (I may not have added it correctly)
    Thanks!
    Bobby

How did you add the X500, it's usualy in below format in Exchange 2013 but it could be different if moved from old Exchange versions?
