"Resource and Performance Monitor"

I ran this diagnostic report a couple of months ago.  Was trying to find it to run it again.  No idea where I originally found it.  CAn anyone help.
I have a tecra laptop.   The report told me that I have a Controller Device fail issue.    (I was checking for disk issues).
Cannot get tech support to believe me so wanted to run it again AND tell tech support how I ran the diagnostic report.
A screenshot of the report is attached
thanks

Tecra R850  ...  I didn't think it mattered..
It matters a great deal. Toshiba made a Tecra with Windows 3.1, 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, and now 8. I don't know which one to look at.
So far as I know, the Tecra R850 series came with Windows 7. (With the full model number, we could look it up.)

  • Configure Cisco Mediatrace, Cisco IOS IP SLA, and Performance Monitoring

    Hi all,
I am implementing Cisco Prime Collaboration to monitor the quality of the VoIP call.
I am following all the steps that I have to do to accomplish this task at this link:
    http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Setting_up_Devices_for_Prime_Collaboration_Assurance#Configuring_Unified_Contact_Center_Enterprise_Devices
And now I am arrived on this step:
Configure Cisco Mediatrace, Cisco IOS IP SLA, and Performance Monitoring
Not all the Cisco devices that I have on the network are "Mediatrace, IP SLA and Performance Monitoring" capabilities. The core switch is one of them.
What will happen if some devices are configured with these capabilities and some are not?
Are the data provided from Cisco Collaboration still reliable?
    Thanks in advance.
    Luigi

I can't see a reason why the 2 features won't work together. The 2 features will work just fine with each other.
Unfortunately there is no sample config with both feature in the same document, but it will work just fine.

  • CSM service pack and performance monitor

Does the CSM service pack correct the performance monitor or CSM and Perf monitor are indipendent ?
    I have a CSM 3.1.1 sp3 and I need to install Perf Mon 3.1: do I need to execute sp3 again ?
    thank you
    RS

I think not need to install SP3 again after you installed the performance monitor 3.1 . it's not required

  • CSM 3.1 and Performance Monitor

I have CSM 3.1 up and running and am trying to get Performance Monitor running so we can monitor the VPNs. When I try to install it I keep get file ting the message:
"One instance of CiscoWorks Installation is already running. If you are sure that no other instances are running, remove the file C:\cmflock.txt. This installation will now abort." Why can't I install this. I am also running AUS server on the same box, which should be just fine. Also, the Cisco Works licensing says there is no licence, however I have CSM licences correctly, could that have something to do with it?

Upgraded to 3.1.1 and it still wouldn't work. Ended up being a file that was supposed by automatically deleted after CSM was installed.

    Hello,
u mean perormance of portal right?
I would suggest you to start with configuring this EWA,when it is done you will get the performance data from EWA itself and then we can anaylze and move forward
But still if you want you can refer to notes 485933,1017324 and 934808

In order to find the PerformanceMonitor web app, the ConsoleExt needs to
examine your classpath to get the appropriate WLHOME. It does this by
searching for .../server/lib/weblogic.jar. Please make sure your CLASSPATH
is correct and matches where PerformanceMonitor is installed. For example,
the path to .../server/lib/weblogic.jar is the same as to ../common/perf. In
my world, they both happen to be d:\bea\weblogic81.

  • End to end and performance

    Hi
There are various monitorings like Message, Component, End to end and performance monitoring. when all do we use end ot end and performanc monitoring ? What are the advantages that they have but message monitoring and component monitoring dont have ?
    Midhun

    Hi Midhun
Go through the document given by Armen
End to end and performance monitoring. when all do we use end ot end and performanc monitoring ?
You can use end to end performance monitoring to monitor the performance as well as details of complete PI scenario
What are the advantages that they have but message monitoring and component monitoring dont have ?
Message monitoring will allow you to monitor messages in Integration server, Adapter engine, Proxy runtime etc
Component monitoring - particular adapter etc can be monitoring.
    Thanks

  • Performance monitor reports and graphs don't show all the counters that were captured

I've run into an odd behavior of performance monitor that I haven't been able to clear up yet: after I run a data collector set, the resulting report only shows a partial list of the counters that I captured, and so does the graph of that report (but different
    items).
For instance, I chose the following counters for the data collector set:
    \PhysicalDisk(*)\% Idle Time
    \PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk Queue Length
    \PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk sec/Read
    \PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk sec/Write
When the data collection ends, the report that gets displayed shows all those counters for _Total instance and C:, but then E: only shows % Idle Time and Avg. Disk Queue Length. That's it, the report ends there, even though I also have F: and V: drives on
    this server.
If I choose to view the graph of this data collection, it only shows those four counters for the _Total instance.
It took me a while to realize that all the data is being captured, but it's just the display that is truncated. If I view the folder then open the report.html, it actually shows all the data. Same with the graphs. If I select to add counters and add
all the missing counters, they are displayed.
I have searched high and low but haven't been able to find more than one post at ServerFault where someone had a similar issue, but no real solution or cause was provided, so I was hoping that someone here might have an idea.
I also found a variety of articles about missing counters due to registry settings or because the counters needed to be reset, but that's a different issue that doesn't apply in my case. By the way, this is on a windows server 2012 R2 VM (file server).

    Hi SomeAdmin,
The counter missing often caused by the related registry value is corrupted, please first refer the following related KB then perform a fix then monitor the issue again.

  • Performance Monitoring and WLS 8.1 SP3

I've already send this question to
"weblogic.developer.interest.management" with no answer. Maybe it was the
wrong group so I try again here.
Should I open a case to BEA support ?
I'm trying to use the performance monitoring tool on a WLS 8.1 SP3 server.
I've noticed that it is now included in the full distribution of the
    platform
(apparently not in the service pack 3 where a separate download is
    necessary).
I have installed a the full platform on Win XP SP1 and started the sample
server. After booting, I connect to the console and I try to access the
    'Performance
Monitor' settings by clicking on the corresponding item.
I only get garbage and the server logs the following:
    <21-Sep-2004 10:20:36 o'clock CEST> <Error> <HTTP> <BEA-101017>
    <[ServletContext
