Can anyone please let me know how I can define the user profiles and equipment profiles in SAP WMS We have a decentralized WMS that we are implementiing . Can any one please let me know how I can define the user profiles and aalso the equipemtn profiles. Ability to skip tasks and task groups.

Yes - this was the first set of information the OP dumped from his system. About line 5 of the post.
But I do wonder whether the 9.2.0.6 (not latest patch) makes a difference? Or perhaps the connect time is being used as part of a composite limit.

Hi,
There is one check box in transaction for default value for every attribute. And a particular attribute there has to be a default value.
Use FM BBP_GET_ATTRIBUTES_AT03 to fetch all attributes for a particular shopper. Then check for the particular attribute witha default value.
In this way you will get default plant for that shopper can further requirement can be completed.

Ora-human-intervention How to assign it defined user

Hi All,
I am working on fault handler framework in SOA composite. In fault-policies.xml, there is option to assign it for human intervention if any fault has been occured using below tag
<Action id="ora-human-intervention">
<humanIntervention/>
</Action>
But here there is no option, to which user you want to assign it. By default it is assigning to weblogic user(Administrator). Is there any way to assign it on run time. Means for some exceptions i want to assign it to user A and for some other i want to assign it to User B. Fault handler user names will be available in My bepl process.

Hi:
I think that ora-human-intervention is at the Enterprise Manager level.
So even if u want to assign it to an specific user, u will still need to enter to the EM, and manage the manual recovery from there. IS that what u r looking for?
Or u are expecting a user to enter to the Worklist and manage this type of errors from there?

in my scenario i have roles associated with access policies that assign resources .
i have resources assigned by a target reconciliation ... what i need is assign a role based on resources that the user has..
if the user has 4 resources added by a target reconciliation and these 4 resources make a role then the role has to be assigned automatically...
any idea?? this is possible?? thnx..

Rellease code assignment to the users profile

Hi,
PL take help of Basis person and ask him to create role -
Add release Tcode in roles e.g. ME28, ME29N,
And give authorisations in below objects -
M_BEST_BSA <OBJ> Document Type in Purchase Order
M_BEST_EKG <OBJ> Purchasing Group in Purchase Order
M_BEST_EKO <OBJ> Purchasing Organization in Purchase Order
M_BEST_WRK <OBJ> Plant in Purchase Order
M_EINK_FRG <OBJ> Release Code and Group (Purchasing) - In this object give Release code and release grp authorisations.
Then attach the role to user.

Hi All,
I 'm getting following error after executing syncbo Ztest_010 of type S01.
"No resource assignment found for the user test."
i have added enteries in SPRO for the user test ,
Can anyone suggest which entry might effect the extraction of data for Ztest_010.

Can't define user profiles

Hi Gurus,
   I installed bw3.5 in testing environment successfully, and also I done client copy from 000 to 003, the problem is when I created new user in client 003, there is no any profiles I can define, such as SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW etc. but I can define it in client 000. any step am I missing?

The data copied in a client copy process is determined by the copy profile. Following are some values:
SAP_ALL    All Client-Specific Data w/o Change Documents
SAP_APPL   Customizing and Application Data w/o Change Docs
SAP_APPX   SAP_APPL w/o Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_CUST   Customizing
SAP_CUSV   Customizing and User Variants
SAP_CUSX   Customizing w/o Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_PROF   Only Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_UCSV   Customizing, User Master Records and User Variants
SAP_UCUS   Customizing and User Master Records
SAP_UONL   User Without Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_USER   User Master Records and Authorization Profiles
Since you are doing a copy of reference client it is good to use SAP_ALL profile.

Assign User Profiles and Web Interface Transactions to Users

Hi EM Gurus,
Has anyone worked with not standard scenarios in SCEM?
They are working well but I can't access them on interface web.
In selection page (search page after logon), where choose tracking scenarios, only standard scenarios appear although I have assigned both scenarios to the user and made same configuration; Assigned and Defined Web Interface Transactions, Configured Fields for User Profiles, Defined User Profiles, Assigned User Profiles and Web Interface Transactions to Users.
But only Standard Scenarios appear as choice of tracking scenarios that are displayed to the user as a dropdown box on the selection screen after logging on to the Web interface.
Has anyone accessed not standard scenarios on interface web??

Hello Rodrigo,
if you have assigned the scenarios to your user in transaction /SAPTRX/UCUSER you must go to the admin page and reload the profile manager.
/admin in the URL of the WCL instead /ehsearch.
Afterwards you should see them also in the drop-down box.

USER PROFILE OR RESOURCE MANAGER

If we want to use Resource Manager to control the usage of system resources, and the DB users are already assigned profiles that limits the resource usage, so in this case which one (Resource Manager settings OR User Profile) will be used?

Use the APIs to check if the user is enabled or disabled?
As the disable event usually cascades there shouldn't be any issues with race conditions.

How can we get the Latest Resource Assigned in the Approval Form

I was wondering if there is any way to get the Latest Assigned Resources to a User in my Approval Form.
I tried this <ref>waveset.resourceAssignments</ref> but it returned all the Resources assigned to a User. While creating a User with Resource Assigned it won�t be problem. While Update when a User is assigned a Resource & it comes for Approval to the owner, all the Previously assigned resources shows up. How can I get only the Latest Resource Assigned.

idm_guy, if you could elaborate more on what you mean with latest resource assigned it would help - but there are a number of options (if i interprent you correctly to solvethis). My guess is that the easiest way would be to determine if:
waveset.accounts[<iterate through resources>].created = true or false
and if
waveset.accounts[<resource>].lastPasswordUpdate = <last updated date>
The latter is of course only applicable to resource where you set a password. This value will be updated whenever you set the password and could be a possible value to check against.
If the account is not created yet but assigned it might be another possibility to check, but again - clairfy a bit about what you mean with "Latest Resource Assigned".

Customer Interaction User Profile

We are in the process of testing the Customer Interaction Center (Winclient) with our internal sales teams. Can anyone help assign the correct user profile/authorization for these?
I need them to be able to run activities in CIC0 and use trx BP, CRMD_ORDER. I have added these transactions to a new profile - ZQ:CRM_SALES and assigned this but i'm experiencing a few problems when a user tries to attach a file within an activity.
Does anyone know the standards for these

It seems standard authorization problem, You can do a trace with ST01 and see the error in the authorization object.

You can assign a particular user to any number of Roles as long as they are not conflicting.
But you can assign 150 Profiles to a Role.

Can't access old user profile data (folders with - signs)

Hi,
My iMac (model below) running 10.6.8 would not load from the start-up screen, so I reinstalled the OS from the instalation discs. After doing so I was able to gain access the desktop, but had been assigned a new user profile. My previous music, email, photos etc. were stored in a "previous system" folder, and while I can access the overall folder many of the sub-folders have a in the lower corner which keeps me from being able to open/access them.
Is there a way for me to open or move these files? Or perhaps reinstate this "previous user" to the system?
I am further stuck because I purchased the upgrade from 10.4, to 10.6 electronicially and now can't access the information needed to return to that system.
Any helpw would be greatly appreciated.

I went to the system preferences and then user and saw that the only user currently was also marked as "Admin". So I tried it again with my photos folder and entered the longer name and password I set up and it worked. What was different was that I changed the Admin name from the "short" name put in the field automatically to the "longer" name along with the password.
Not sure how this going to work with my email or how to get back to my upgraded version of Mac OS, but I guess I can keep playing with it and see.

Let me explain what I understood:
1/ In your operational project, you have role-task assignments.
2/ You assign a resource to the role
--> You would like the system to automatically assign the resource to the task (and not do it manually). Am I right?
First, I would precise that it's not mandatory to assign the resource to the task in order to see the task in the worklist. The role assignment is enough.
Then, if you still want to assign the resource automatically, you can use the BADI dpr_events, with a filter on "resource assigned". You can then simulate the entity link between the concrete role (assigned resource) and the task.

Transaction VL10 - Assigning user profiles & scenarios to specific users

Hi Experts
I have define a user profile 'Z103' (a copy of 0103) and assigned it to a scenario '0103' via Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Worklists in the Implementation Guide.
I have also maintained paramenter Id 'LE_VL10_SZENARIO' and parameter value '0103' for the specific user via transaction 'SU3'.
The result that i am getting for this user is a default role/profile 'Z103' which is correct and default scenario 'VL10' which i think is incorrect. I expected the default scenario for this user to be '0103'.
Please advise if there is any missing config or master data.

The default parameter id LE_VL10_SZENARIO .
Your settings:
LE_VL10_SZENARIO = '0103'
In transaction, VL10CUV scenario '0103' = 'Z103'
Now if you run the VL10 transaction, by default the system takes the scenario '0103' automatically and determines the user role based on the assignment to the scenario in transaction VL10CUV.
Yes, you are right the system shows the user role 'Z103' correctly but shows VL10 as scenario. This is because of the default parameter id used in SU3. There is no mistake, and the program is hardcoded like that.
