Resource Error

SAP Business One is installed successfully but while Installing Add-On Error is coming "Resource Error".
Can u please help me how to resolve this error ASAP.

Try the following steps on the workstation with the error:
1) Close SBO if it is running.
2) Choose Start--Run
3) Enter %temp% and press OK
4) Windows Explorer should now open and show you your temp directory
5) Look for a folder called SM_OBS_DLL
6) Delete this folder (if it says that files are in use in this folder then reboot and try deleting the folder again).
7) Log in to SBO and try starting the addon again
If this still gets the error then search for other SM_OBS_DLL folders in other user profiles on the local machine. Delete these also.

Dependency is not configured in the schema resource Error (OSB)

Hi all,
I am using OSB(10gR3). I am using workshop IDE. I have copied few Xsds into a project. One schema which has an import throws an error
"dependency is not configured in the schema resource Error .Possible reason one or more import/include not set correctly."
Kindly help me in solving this error.
I am new to OSB,kindly share any good online resources I would be of great help for me.

"Edit References" button will appear on sbconsole. Upload it on sbconsole and you will be able to see the button.
If you open the XSD in the workshop (in design view), under "Directives" you will be able to see the imports. Click on any of them and in the "properties" tab below you would be able to see "Schema Location" (in General tab of properties). Click on browse button and it will ask whether you want to download it from a HTTP URL or want to refer from a existing workbench projects.

XL Reporter not loaded in SAP Business One Resource Error

I have installed SAP B 1 and using SQL Server 2k for database. I have got problem loading time of add-on i.e. XL Reporter below given error occur. Any expert can guide me to resolve this.

Most of the times this message appears to users who have got .Net Framework 1.0 and 2.0 installed on their machines at the same time. That actually confuses the XL Reporter on which to run. I would recommend creating an XML file with the name as "SBOXLReporter.exe.config" and save it at the following XLReporter working location
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\XLR\XLReporter\Client\
Make sure u paste the following text as it is in that XML File and save it and then run XLReporter. Hope it works out.

IP Resource Errors While Building a Windows Failover Cluster on Azure

I have setup a failover cluster in Microsoft Azure on four VMs. I have two nodes in one subnet/region, one node in another subnet/region and a final node in a third subnet/region. The cluster passed the validation wizard and was successfully built, but the
two nodes in other subnets will not go online, reporting "Failed to bring the resource 'IP Address x.x.x.x' online".
Azure Vnet Setup
Vnet 1 - South Central US - 10.16.16.0/16 - Nodes 1 & 2 - Online
Vnet 2 - West US - 10.116.16.0/16 - Node 3 - Offline
Vnet 3 - East US - 10.216.16.0/16 - Node 4 - Offline
All three IP Address resources are DHCP. I've attempted to make them static but they still failed while coming online. If I click "Information Details" on the error I get:
Error code: 0x80071397
The operation failed because either the specified cluster node is not the owner of the resource, or the node is not a possible owner of the resource.
It seems to be an issue with the way Azure DHCP works, but I'm stalled. There must be a way to get his working. What am I missing?

Starting in Windows Server 2008, a feature called an “OR dependency” was added to Failover Clustering which gave admins the ability to have nodes with a Network Name that
could use one IP Address OR another IP Address .In a multisite cluster, it is expected that 1 IP address is offline as it is an OR relationship.

XL reporter: Unable to connect DI. Resource Error

Hi,
My XL reporter cannot launch suddently with above error. The SAP version I am using is 2005 SP01 PL04. I had tried to uninstall and reinstall but it is still the same. When this happens my outlook integrator is also facing same problem with resource error.
Did anyone encounter this? Please advise.

This is an issue with the DI that will not be fixed if you only uninstall and reinstall the DI. It's other files that's involved too.
1) uninstall DI Server, Server tools, SDK.
2) delete the SM_OBS_DLL directory (in your temp directory c:\documents and settings\"user"\local settings\temp (check show folders and files on options))
3) reinstall DI Server, Server tools, SDK.

Error -8006: "Resource error" when connecting to DI

Hi all
Have anyone come accross this error before when trying to connect to the DI? The error message is not very descriptive as you can see: "Resource error"

Is your problem solved as it is marked as solved. In any case here's a recent post I made regarding this. This is how I solved it:

I keep getting installation error "Shared Resources error" when trying to install Photoshop Elements 11 (Windows 7). Any advice will be appreciated..

[Edit] I mis-spoke. The OP and another user with the same error WERE helped. What I saw initially was yet another poster, who was going to contact Adobe, but never came back to the thread. In the case of the OP and another users, the issue was caused by having Adobe Bridge, included with other Adobe programs, like Photoshop and Premiere Pro, running. When they killed that, the installation went well.

Help Please - System Resource Error

I have a demo tomorrow and I need to demo off my machine
(local). I have CF Server version MX7 and I am using MS Access 2003
database SP2 and I have just started to get the attached error. Is
this a CF server error or can anyone tell me how to fix?
The queries all run fine but I get this system resource error
after I try to run the same query twice.
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

The error is coming from MS Access, and is merely displayed
from the ColdFusion page request. The Microsoft support site shows
at least one known cause of the error such that queries that have
complex WHERE clauses can encounter this. Although your query seems
rather simple, it seems that you've hit some type of limitation of
the Access database.

You might want to run the free MySQL database instead of MS
Access.

"Failed to load resource" error

Hello,
Does anyone give me help?
Some of my deployed applications became unable to run at all.
The error message in Chrome development tool's console is "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)"
Before last week, these applications were worked fine. But from last week (I am noy sure when), they do not work.
So, I tryed to make easy application like helloworld servlet. it works correctly on local server.
Then I tried to upload my hanatrial.ondemand.com server, and run. But it does not work with the error like above.
Additional info:
I restarted this application. Application state on JAVA application dashboard in HCP consol, became "Could not read status of application benefits: Internal Server Error (500)".
Does anyone have any idea for checking the reason ?

Hi all,
Now it works fine. I am not sure what's coused for this issue.
Yesterday, I tried to execute these applications which did not work with "resource error".
But now, I tried again. Then they worked well.
What I did , is just delete Data source bindings. and then dployed and run again.
I am not sure this is caused the issue. Because same actions were tried by myself on last week. But at that time, nothing has been changed.
Anyway, I am gonig to run them for Demo purpose.

Resource Error - Activation of Records in DSO

Hi,
We have Installed General Ledger Business content and tried to load data into DSO 0FIGL_O10. The activation of records in DSO is terminated and the error message: "Resource error. No Batch Process available".
Has anyone faced this problem. could it be a DB issue?

Hi,
You dont have enough process in the background and this setting is done by your basis team and it depends upon the hardware and OS used.
You cannot do much about it except make sure that you load the data at the time when there is not much activity going on in the system or ask your basis team to make more background process available .
Also it happens becausea number of jobs are already running in the background and you are not left with any thread to execute your loading.this happens as lot of process chains are already running and you try to schedule another load.
Just wait for some time till the other jobs are finished and this will solve the problem.

From the description of your problem, I understand that the
activation has taken too long, and that is the reason for the
error RSODSO_PROCESSING 17. By making some adjustments to the
Data Store object parameters, you should be able to activate
the request. Please note and make the following adjustments in
transaction RSODSO_SETTINGS (you can adjust this for each Data
Store object):
1) maximum package size (for activation)
   This you should reduce to 10000. Then the package processing would
   be less time consuming.
2) maximum wait time for process (for activation)
   This could be increased to e.g. 600
3) button "change process parameters"
   here the activation is set to be run in backround (which is also
   adviced by SAP).
If you want the processes to run in background, you may have to
increase the amount of batchjobs available in your system. Otherwise
the activation can not run in parallel if there are no batchjobs
available. This could also occur because there are other programs
using batchjobs also.
Also could you please check the server group used in RSODSO_SETTINGS
You can make use of the RZ12 for the same. If you adjust these settings
the activation should finish.

I recently had this issue and here is the answer from BOYUM that solved it. The only difference is to remember that the TEMP folder is PROFILE SPECIFIC. Typing in %temp% in the Run Field will bring up the folder.

Load resource error

Hello,
I have a program which has some CVI modules(used as DLL in labview), I built a installer using Labvuiew Runtime 8.2 and CVI 8.0.1 run time,.
I installed the application but when i try to run the application, I get resource error for all the SubVI where i have used CVI modules, CVI DLL was built using CVI 6.0
have attached screen shots, the modules are sub-vi's, so I dont need front panel included.
My installer installs 10 modules during installation along with CVIRTE, but after complete installation I don't see any CVI module in Crogram files:national instruments:sharedroduct cache.
I am having a tough time,

Found solution, Thanks for the MAX, I installed MAX on the machines where it gave resource error and found that even though I installed CVI 8.0.1 the system had CVI 9.0.1, CVIRTE.DLL ver 8.0.1 was not replacing earlier CVI 9.0.1 version,
So i deleted the CVIRTE.dll from System32 folder and then re-installed my program and it started working fine.

This error message should also have an ORA- style error message contained in it, which should provide a clearer picture of what resource you are running out of on the Oracle database. Is this the entire error message which was reported in the TimesTen tterrors.log or ttmesg.log file?
