Resource file in configuration folder

Hi, I've run into a slight problem with Dreamweaver the other day. I was moving the icon and it accidentally was dropped into the trash.
I took the icon out and have it in the Dock again, but I can't get the icon back into the Creative Suite folders for some reason.
Now everytime I try to load Dreamweaver--from the Dock or the icon that I have on the Desktop it gives me the same error.
"Could not locate the Resources file in the Configuration folder.
This file is required to run Dreamweaver. Please reinstall the application."
And now I'm puzzled and lost as to what to do to get Dreamweaver up and running again.
I'm running CS5 and on a Mac. 10.6.8 version.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Never mind. I was plying around with it again and figured it out. I had to move the actual file from the desktop into the application folders via finder. And now it works perfectly.

Do you receive this error message during the install process? I would recommend reviewing your installation log files. Delete save configuration files in /configuration folder

How to delete the historic stored (generated by our ssh script) configuration files in /configuration folder on Ironport appliance? thanks.

Handling File in Configuration Folder

Hi,
I recently posted about a possibly corrupt file that I cant access anymore. I have what are technically "backups" but they are exports, not actual copy and paste files that I can change.
I found out through some research that I can access some weirdly named file titled TMP019238blahblahblah. I opened it, and all my stuff was there. I didnt want to mess with it since this seems to be my last chance at getting a lot of my work back.
How should I go about handling this? The samething pops up as in the original file "unable to load scene, your document might be damaged" but its saved anyway. I tried copy and pasting a few frames from the tmp file into a new document, but Adobe crashes when I open it.
How can I save the tmp file as a regular file and change/export all the new work I had that was lost in the original?

Need Help! "Could not locate the resource file in the Configuration folder."

I had just purchased and installed Adobe Crerative Design Suite last night. Every program works except Dreamweaver, which gives me the error message:"Could not locate the resource file in the Configuration folder. This File is required to run Dreamweaver. Please reinstall the application". I am suspicious because the was a previous version of Dreamweaver on the computer before this installation, but I unistalled it. I do not understand why I get this message. Is there a file somewhere that is missing or at faut. How can I remedy this? Thanks

Your posted resources worked for me. Thank you! After many attempts (to include Adobe's overseas call canter) to resolve the same installation and run errors, I used your suggested steps and I finally have a clean and running install. I did have to take a few extra steps;
First I downloaded both Cleaning scripts. For CS4 & CS3.
Next I downloaded Windows installer/cleaner. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and that is a required installed program to run Adobe's cleaning script.
Once I was sure I had all the programs/scripts I needed (per your instructions and the instructions found on the Cleaning scripts site) I disconnected my computer from the Internet.
Then I disabled all running programs especially all Anti-virus and firewall programs and any others that have calls of any kind: i.e. Boinc (Seti), Skype, email programs (Windows Live Mail), etc.
Next I uninstalled all CS4 products and even though I was told that Macromedia Studio MX 2004 can stay installed (read that on one site and the overseas Tech also reinforced that information) I uninstalled MX 2004.
I then rebooted and installed the Windows installer/cleaner program and ran the Adobe CS4 cleaner script twice.
After another reboot I installed Dreamweaver CS4 first, rebooted (can't reboot enough with Windows!) and, yes you guessed it, rebooted.
I then attempted to open Dreamweaver CS4 and for the first time it ran without the error!
I then installed Adobe Ps CS4 and rebooted and that work for the first time as well.
I can't say for sure if Macromedia Studio MX 2004 caused the install errors on the Adobe products but without it and ALL that uninstalling and rebooting and running cleaning scripts and installing and rebooting, Adobe finally felt my computer was clean enough to call it home and work.
Thank you again for your information and I suggest if anyone else finds their way here that they follow your instructions to the letter. Takes a long time but a proper and clean install will be the result.

"Could not locate the Resources file in the Configuration folder"

While opening DW cs5 on my iMac OS X 10.7.5 a window came up that says: "Could not locate the Resources file in the Configuration folder. This file is required to run Dreamweaver. Please reinstall the application."
After downloading and reinstalling Adobe Creative Suite CS5 yesterday per the instruction of Adobe tech support, the application still had the same message when I attempt to open it. Not sure where else to turn. Please advise. Thanks

How to add resource files to a new folder to a project in JDeveloper 11g

Currently, new folder can only be created when creating an item within JDeveloper via setting the destination folder.
I have some resource files that are binary files and created outside JDeveloper.
How can I add those resource files to a specific folder under an existing project so that we can do versioning control on those files using SVN within JDeveloper?
Or I have to manage the versioning control of those files outside JDeveloper?

Go to project properties - >Project content - > resources and add the directory.

I've installed three times with no luck. I downloaded the Creative Cloud Packager off the licensing site: https://licensing.adobe.com. I unpacked and choose my applications. The install seemed to be successful, but I don't so any of the applications anywhere.

Creating package doesn't mean it will install the product,
You will need to install the package now. Please follow the instructions mentioned in the below articles

Css file in dreamweaver configuration folder?

while working with a dreamweaver page im getting messages asking me if I want to save a css file located in my dreamweaver configuration folder.
this is somewhat disconcerting as I have never saved anything to that folder.
Is this issue a problem and if so what can I do to resolve it?

I think you can safely ignore this message. I'm not sure why you are getting it, but it refers to a temporary file, perhaps created when you did a browser preview.

Archiving with EOS, need to configure the resource files

We are using RSD EOS for archiving. Now we got a request from a client to configure resource files for some of his new spools.
If anyone is still using this product, need help on the resource file configuration.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Importing All the files from a folder at a time

We used an ant script to build an XML file that will contain the files. The script is configured to use the folder structure of our CVS repository.
We'd checkout our XML module and then run the build script and import the resulting init file.
Code to the script is below -- caveat emptor. You'll need to change the folder structure to suit your own environment.

How to move all files from a folder for a user to a centralized folder on a core server with a GP

Hello,
I was curious if someone know how to move all the files of a user "local" profile on a Terminal Server to that of a centralized server where the "local" profile of like the user desktop, favorites, setting, etc are stored in the event
the local profile on the TS become corrupt it can pull from this server...
The problem I have is no matter what I tell users to save there files to our Y drive that is a folder that is synced
across all 6 of our TS servers, users still store files on there desktops, so as you can imagine if one day they are on one server, then next day they could be on another and there files aren't the same.... hence the reason why I want to move all there files
to the centralized server so when I redo the profiles from scratch on the TS server in the farm they suck files from the core server and have all of the files they are used to having....
So I was curious and I've heard from some this is possible in a GP, but I'd like to move the contents of all 6 TS for
each user or if I have to d this on per user basis I will, just looking for a way to move the files....

To move all users’ desktop to a server, we can use Folder Redirection to do this. The path for Folder Redirection is:
[Group Policy Object Name]\User Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Folder Redirection
In this situation, we can choose to redirect desktop to the root of a network file share or a folder on a network share.

I am using XML SAVER action to create and save the file . It's working fine if in configure object file path is as "\\drive\folder\TEST.XML". In this case it's generating the file with name TEST.XML.
I configure link of same XML SAVER action and specified same "\\drive\folder\TEST.XML" for Path property. In this case it's giving me the error.
"Invalid link expression in action[XML_Saver_0]:\\drive\folder\TEST.XML"
I tried first with test file (Fixed name ) but it's not working. Once it will work i can use expression editor for date and time function.
I also need the expression to add date and time in place of TEST.

Although the versions 10.1.3.4 and 10.1.3.3 are close and should be able to use 10.1.3.4 JDev for most 10.1.3.3 development, the human tasks is the one exception. 10.1.3.3 had a few bugs fixed therefore the jar file used in JDev 10.1.3.4 may not be compatible with 10.1.3.3.
I would either use JDev 10.1.3.3 or upgrade SOA Suite to 10.1.3.4
