Resource-ref example wont work
Hi,
I down loaded some jsp examples from this site "http://www.orionserver.com/taglibtut/"
ia now trying out lesson no 7. Which uses a java mail to send an email. I have created
a mail resource on wls server. Its name is "http://www.orionserver.com/taglibtut/".
When I am uploading the war I get the error cannot load war file. I have attached
the examples codings for you perusal. Please have a look and let me know what can
be the problem.

Dynamic event registration wont work with Tab control
In LTR volume 11 No1 we find the "Dynamic Event Handling.vi".
I had placed the controls on a Tab control and now this example wont work.
Is there a solution to this problem?

Dynamic_Event_Registration(controls_on_Tab).vi 64 KBYes. The first stage of the code registers mouse down events for all the controls. When you added a tab control that meant that a mouse down event was registered for the tab as well. So now when you click on an object on the tab LabVIEW must decide whether to fire the mouse down on the tab-event, or the mouse down on the object on the tab event...It goes for the first but since there is no description for the tab no dialog will be displayed. If you add a description for the tab you'll see that it fires the event with the tab and you get a dialog with the tab description.
So - how to fix. Well, it's not that simple, one might think that to exclude the reference to the tab when you register the events would do the trick, but it rather seems that LV will always t
hink mouse clicks are on the tab and not on the objects on the tab.
The solution though is to get the references to the objects by reading the controls on page property of the tab control. So instead of reading the controls array from the front panel read the pages references of the tab and then the controls on page array from that and then register mouse down events on that array.

i installed itunes 11.1.3 and now my itunes store wont work - for example the movie list comes up blank- does anyone knw how to fix this?
Looks like blame is incorrectly placed. Turns out my iSCSI connector is struggling with Mavericks. When I placed the iTunes library on a local drive, everything came back to normal.

I have a dilema i use a programme called Mackeeper i accidentally moved several checked files to my trash BUT i didnt delete them,i would like to put the files back where they belong but the put back option is in grey and wont work?? i have spoken to Apple and to no avail !!!
Mackeeper moved my files to my trash so i pulled them out of my trash to my desktop it has copied them to my desktop as well as kept them in my trash!!
im so confused and things are not working properly anymore such as my google chrome for example...all my book marks are gone BUT i can go to the google file which is out of place on my desktop and view all my bookmarks data...ALL of my files still exist but they are just out of place now which is making it hard for certain options on my computer to work...

HOW do i get this stuff back to where it is supposed to go so that these programmes work properly again???? i also used delete and command but that did not work either,like i said i have not emptied my trash and ALL the info is there its just totally out of place and the put back option will not work sor some reason!!??? im running 10.8.5 imac someone PLEASE help me!!

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
Failure to remove MacKeeper will result from neglecting any one of these points:
Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
Don't empty the Trash after dragging the application to it. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
Don't try to drag the MacKeeper icon in the Dock to the Trash.
Here are some general suggestions. If you want your computer to be usable, don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." I used a mail-form from dB Masters because someone here gave me the tip.
And its great! But it uses a simplefied Captcha script.

Im a hobbyist that learns really really fast.
Before March 23 i never used CSS, Javascript and XHTML. And never combined them all together with PHP. (never ever created a php based file from scratch)
The reason why i use other persons code is because i learn faster with examples, and because i dont need to reinvent the wheel if someone already invented it. The only thing i do with it is learn the workings, customise it and at last, rewrite the code when i understand it.

I think it was Nancy O. that gave me the link to the validator. Thats how i discovered the service.
You need to know that in 1 day (from 63 errors and 12 warnings) i removed all errors. And i didnt knew much about it, and why errors happend while the site looks fine.
So im just curious how things work and thats why i "steal" codes and adjust them to learn myself.

Okay, sounds absurd that it works for everything except XA, but that is all I have to go with for now. We are moving from EJB2.x to EJB3 and I am encountering an issue when using the @Resource annotation for an XA connection factory. See deployment exception at bottom of post.

How to map a resource-ref in Jdev11 deployment plan editor

I have a ADF/BC web application where the BC4J application module does connect to a JNDI data source.
The ViewController project does declare the Datasource as needed resource in its web.xml:

Now i need to map that resouurce-ref to an actual data source that exist in the application container at deploy time.
As already in JDev 10.1.3 the deployment-plan editor provided during deployment from JDeveloper does not provide any means to enter the deployment mapping for that resourc-ref (When clicking on the node (which is named resouce-ref - that becomes very confusing in case you have defined three resource-refs in your web.xml) the right pane shows a gray pane without any edit controls) So I cannot enter the resource-ref-mapping unsing the Jdev UI.
My workaround in 10.1.3 was to save the deployment plan to disk and manually edit it, adding

So no chance here to add a resource-ref-mapping. The alternative way of specifying a resource-ref-mapping using the web-based deployment proces of the Enterprise manager is impossible because the 11g preview OC4j does not include an enterprise manger web-application.
So how do I deploy the application correctly other that manually modifying the deployed orion-web-app.xml file in j2ee/home/application-deployments/earName/warName/orion-web-app.xml after deploying the app without a resource-ref-mapping? Because doing that step manually each time is quite annoying.

ThomasSeems i'm slowly answering my own questions :-) I finally got my RMI service, even using several methods. But ...
It doesnt help me as the lookups are not done on the context classloader it seems. That means i need to add all my service jars to the global class path causing massive sealing issues with the war contained jars. Pretty useless. All the needed stubs etc are in the war.
But as it seems that the web app needs to contain deployment site info (sun-web.xml) anyway, i could just as easy read my own web xml from the context and resolve the services myself. But i do wonder how this is supposed to work with EJB and CORBA stuff. The samples actually also needed to add stuff to the global class path.
I'm probably not the easiest customer as i write this kind of middle ware for a living but i really like sjsws. It makes my own one partly obsolete as it is almost as fast and has all the fancy deployment stuff (in my case i use an in-house mobile agent frame work and agents that travel the various networks ) and infinitely easier to learn to work with and understand In case anyone is wondering i wrote Uhura because 1. i needed speed so it is a servlet based webserver and not a web server with a servlet module. 2. could not wait on ibm to fix bugs in webspere and we only used the servlet bit. 2. i needed full J2EE security and 3. i needed it to run on many OS'es
That is why i still need the same war files to be able to be deployed in both systems as i still need my systems going on IBM iservers etc.
Again i would welcome some feed back on such and related issues

oh guys I am tearing my hair out!
I bought a new camera Fuji FinePix S200EXR it was an upgrade from a previouse Fugi FinePix camera.
I use Photoshop CS3 extended.
Thing is, when I try to open the RAW images, they are displayed as RAF ( Raw Image Format ) and PS wont recognise them.
( didnt have this problem with my older fugi camera which had RAW format )
So I did all of the upgrades to the RAW plugins for PS and it still wont recognise them at all.
I Dowloaded the RAW plugin and installed to my PS plugin Folder and then tried this
To install with Adobe Creative Suite 3 or Photoshop CS3:
1. Exit Photoshop CS3.
2. Open My Computer.
3. Double-click Local Disk (C:).
4. Navigate to: c:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats
5. Move the existing Camera Raw.8bi plug-in to another location (for example, a new folder on your desktop). Ensure you keep this version in case you need to revert back.
6. Copy the Camera Raw plug-in, Camera Raw.8bi, from the download into the same folder as in step 4.
7. Launch Photoshop CS3 or Adobe Bridge.
Still it wont work.. infact I have just gone back to the directory and am there isnt a plugin folder there anymore.
So I got the DNG converter but when I select the folder from and select to convert into the same folder, it lists the images but says " no images converted" after I press convert...

Lightroom wont work in Internet Explorer, flash broken
After making a picture page in lightroom and exporting, it will load perfectly in Firefox but not IE.
When opening the lightroom page, the following message is displayed:

It doesn't actually update, or rather the update does nothing, with IE not being able to load lightroom. I thought it could have been vista, but after moving it to another computer (XP) internet explorer can not open the page.
My fear is that some HR rep will try to view a portfolio in IE, it wont work, and then lightroom is pretty much worthless.When you find lists like that getting too long, it means -
1. You are not using CSS optimally, and
2. You are using too many fonts

AIR give you classes to detect an on-line or off-line status, it's in
this way for the sake of flexibility for instance what happens if you
only what to sync data only on Saturdays at 2 am? If it were done
automatically that'll be a problem. And it isn't so complicated.

An AIR app can communicate with almost every backend served tech
CF, .Net, PHP, RoR.

How to update oOrder and oInvoice Items' COGM?
I am attempting to update the COGM and Profit Margin values for Non-Stock items when an associated Purchase Invoice for these non-stock items is received. This is being done to have more accurate booked order and invoiced order reports. The code I
