Resources assigned to a Work Center

Is there any Function Module to get the 'Person Responsible' and the Resources assigned to a Work Center ?

Thanks for the quick reply. The Second FM is exactly what i was looking for, but regarding the Person Responsible field, i need related to the Work center only not the Project Definition.
Any idea of person responsible for work center ?

    Project team assigned to WBS element is available for use in all the work center of activities under this WBS. While if you assign a resouce to work center it is automatically available for project team if you want so.
    While when you assign people to work center,  then resource planning and capacity levelling is at more microlevel (network activity level).
    The workcenter-personnel number is more rigid assignment than assigning a project team to WBS element.
    There might be some more points which can have difference in both the process. I expect  otherw will also express their views about them.

    Hi,
    Please use the table CRHD to get the object ids and then go to the table CRCO with the object ids and get the Cost center assignment to resources.or you an create a query by SQVI and use it.

  • Person assigned to a work center

    Hi,
    We are using work force planning to assign resources to activities. We have some problem with one of the work centres. When we click on the person dropdown box in the personal assignment tab then we would expect to see the individuals that are in the work centre associated with the activity. We can see six persons from project builder and when we checked work center master data we could see only four persons.
    When checked thoroughly, the data at work centre master data is picked from HRP1001 and its showing only 4 persons. At the project level, the data is picked from the same table but initially fetches with work centre as input and then capacity ID as input. Finally it combines the data (6 Persons) and show from CJ20n and its different from the work centre data.
    is this the standard behavior or we missing something

    I think you have assigned two person at capacity category level for that WC.
    Open your WC  in CJR3 --> Click on capacity header icon -->on new screen click on HRMS link button  ( check no of person assigned here  it should be two )

  • CNR2-assign person to work center error: the cost center is deleted

    Hi guys,
    i have a problem with assigning a person to a work center using CNR2.
    i select the person and i add it but when i hit SAVE i get this warning message:
    "RP718: a segment could not be derived". the person will then be allocated to the work center BUT when i check in PA30 i can see that the persons cost center is DELETED :O.
    could you please help me with this? i tried a  lot of scenarios but i could still not find the answer.

    Hi
    Cost Center must be maintained for that person in HR master data. Please have your HR person look into this and maintain the data and try again. Cost center and Atype of that person would bring in actual costs (equivalent of hours) on the receiving objects when time sheet is being recorded.

  • Automatic assignment of Main Work Center in WO's

    We massively uploaded PM plans and launched the WO's.
    Per default the system assigned the Work Center at Equipment level. Any idea how to change this setting?

    In ECC 6.0 tcode IW38. execute tcode as per your required input parameter and get out put.
    For output at top go to Order>>>>Mass Change.
    There you will get option to change maintenance work center for all order.

  • Designing Work Center & Assigning in Routing For Textile Industry

    Dear All
      There are around 20 Looms in weaving.As per clients requirement to map indvidual Loom efficiency each loom is considered as indvidual work center.In routing its possible to assign only one work center.
      Kindly suggest me how to map this scenerio.The client requires machine wise output.Should i raise 20 Production orders for indvidual Work centers.

    Maintaining Individual Capacities in the workcenter,
    Prerequisites
    Individual capacities are used in capacity planning for more detailed resource planning. For instance, you can divide a machine capacity into several individual machines and maintain an available capacity for each machine. Capacity requirements can then be distributed among the individual capacities. If you do not maintain an available capacity for an individual capacity, it is calculated from the operating time of the capacity to which the individual capacity has been assigned.
    Individual capacities have the same capacity categories as the capacities to which they are assigned.
    In order to be able to create individual capacities the CapCatPers indicator for the capacity category must not be set in Customizing.
    Procedure
    Assigning Individual Capacities
    On the header screen choose Goto ® Individual capacities.
    The Assignments to Individual Capacities screen appears.
    Define the individual capacities.
    Maintaining Available Capacities for Individual Capacities
    In the Assignments to Individual Capacities screen place the cursor on the individual capacity whose available capacity you want to maintain.
    If the Maintnd indicator has been set, then an available capacity has been maintained for this individual capacity.

  • URGENT........ACTIVITY TYPE AND THEIR ASSIGNEMENT TO WORK CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have A REAL URGENT REQUIREMENT as far as activity type and assignment to Work Center is concerned.
    I work for a client who is a manufacturer of Paint equipment. I'm responsible for capturing the cost of an assembly activity of spray guns, which is the last step of routing.  However, there are 4 processes/steps of routing which are outsourced to the subcontracting vendors. we recieve the facbricated, anodised guns which are assembled in our factory.
    I need to get the cost of assembly, which I have created as an actvity type in KL01 and planned for the same using KP26. However the system is throwing up errors related to costing, and I'm not sure about the assignment areas in work center.
    And above all I'm not sure of various fields in KP26 like capacity field and what do we assign.
    can anybody help me with the series of steps for me to be able to pick up the cost. or if there is any sort of material in this regards, plz mail it to: __ email removed by moderator

    Hi,
    You need to do the following:
    1) Create an Activity type for the Assembly activity.
    2) Define a Work Centre in PP (T-Code CR01) which represents the location where the Assembly is carried out.
    3) Define a Cost Centre corresponding to the above Work Centre.
    4) Plan for the Activity quantity for the combination of the Cost Centre and Activity type (KP26)
    5) Plan for the Overhead Costs which are incurred on this Cost Centre which need to be included in the Standard cost of the Assembly.(KP06)
    6) Assign the Cost centre & Acivity type to the Work Centre in CR02.(This is possible only after you do 5 above)
    7) Execute the Plan price calculation (T-code KSPI)
    After you do all of the above, when you do the Costing Run, all the relevant costs will be picked.
    Ofcourse all the relevant master data for PP like BOM, Routing with the relevant assignments of materials to operations, etc should be in place.

  • HR assignment to Work center

    Hi All,
    I am having few queries with the above subject.
    My customer is asking that he will assign persons(from HR) to the work centers. and based on the assignments done he want some functionality like
    1. At the time of operation confirmation through CO11N in the person field only assigned persons(in Work center) should be available
    2. At the time of capacity availability check system should check the person attached to  work center only. e. g. suppose two persons for 8 hrs are assigned to work center then if order need 18 labor hours, in this case system should tell that capacity is not available. and then if third person added to Work center master then it will tell capacity is available.
    Now my question is :
    Whether above requirements are possible? if yes then please please tell me how to do?\

    Well Work center is the main integration part for both PP and HR OK.
    As your requirement is to maintain the responsible person for the work center follow the path:
    1) SPRO -
    > PRODUCTION -
    > BASIC DATA -
    > WORK CENTER -
    > GENERAL DATA -
    > DETERMINE PERSON   
        RESPONSIBLE. 
    2) GO TO THE PARTICULAR WORK CENTER YOU ARE USING THROUGH T-CODE CR02 OR CR03 OK.
        THEN GO TO THE TAB CAPACITIES TAB DOWN THERE ARE PUSH BUTTONS THE VERY FIRST ONE IS CAPACITY BUTTON
        PRESS IT -
    > YOU WILL GO TO CAPACITY HEADER SCREEN -
    > ON THE TOP YOU CAN FIND PUSH BUTTON CALLED
        AVAILABLE CAPACITY PROFILE -
    > ON THE TOP OF THE YOU CAN SEE A GRAPHIC PRESS IT THERE YOU CAN GET AN
        IDEA OK.

    I need to know to which workcenter, the person is assigned.
    (means, I have a Personal NUmber and want to find out his workcenter)
    There is one transaction which i used earlier also but now i am not remembering that.

    Hi mamta,
    1. Go to PP01,  Select the Object Person, and Check the Infotype 1001 Relationship, Select Overview and check the
    the entries, whether the Person is related to any Work Center.
    2. Or note down the person, Position Number in IT0001,  Go to PP01, Select the Object Position, Give the Position Number, and  Check the Infotype 1001 Relationship, Select Overview and check the the entries, whether the Position is related to any Work Center.
    You can check either way,  if you have assigned the Person - Work center relationship you can use the first one
    If you have assigned the Position - Work center relation ship you can use the second one.

  • How to assign Asset number to PP work center -reg

    Hi,
    When we create PP Work center  through CR01 can we assign the asset number ? 
    or   while creating asset number through AS01 can we assign the PP Work center ?
    Our major issue is
    FI : ASSET
    PM:Equipment
    PP: Workcenter
    we  are not able to link .  we need to have same cost center for all the three . but as of now we dont have the link for the three and what ever cost centers we assignsystem is accepting
    how to solve this ?
    i could not find any fields in work center either to assign asset or equipment ?
    only in equipment i can give PP work center but how it links all the three Asset , Equipment and Work center ?

    In euipment you can assign the PP work center and from the asset AS02/AS03 go to environment > additional  amster data > you can get the cost center assigned to asset fro this you can relate the cost center to all three.

  • Work Center Integration PM-PP

    I have 3 similar Production Machines. I will load any or all of them according to the requirement or acc. to which machine is free.
    so PP person says, he has to assign only one Work Center to all the three machines as he can not assign more than one Work center for a single Operation in Routing.
    But in PM, 3 machines will have 3 different Equipment numbers with common Production Work Center (Work Center at Location tab page)
    If I block any one of the machines for Maintenance, that work Center will get blocked. But physically remaining two machines are free. But PP person can not dispatch the Order as work center is blocked.
    Plz guide how to proceed

    For 3 production machines PP Persone should create 3 pp workcenters......,
    as far as my knowledge is concern in standard SAP this is not possible.....
    although Capacity spiliting option is available in PP workcenter.
    but that dosn't solve our proble..
    if u set system condition - not in operation for a equipment
    .. this will capture whole PP work center..... rather than perticular equipment.
    Try to conyence them for 3 pp workcenter.

    Here are the steps:
    1. have the BI team create a webversion of the report. (not required when calling a query directly
    2. create in SPRO --> CRM --> UI Framework --> UI Framework Definition --> Display SAP NetWeaver BI Reports in CRM the reports you want to display
         e.g. BI Report ID         Z_DYBE_GROSS_SALES_CUST_MAT
                Long description              Revenue per customer/materialgroup
                BI Object Type                  HT Template 3.x  (depending on your BI version)
                BI Object Key                 ZWCOPALM01_PPS_REVENUE_ARTG_V2
                BI System                      (when using the webtemplate, nothing needs to be filled)
    3. create in SPRO --> CRM --> UI Framework --> Technical Role Definition --> Define Navigation Bar Profile
        a. A logical link for each BI report.
           e.g. Logical Link ID ZDB-ACC-DE
                  Type    D BI report
                  Target ID       DISPLAY
                  Parameter       Z_DYBE_GROSS_SALES_CUST_MAT

       b. Include in the relevant Report Work Center Link the logical links you have created in step 3.a

       c. Make sure that your work center link is assigned to the work center
          e.g. Work Center ID  SLS-REPORT
                 GroupID  SLS-ACC-RE position 10
       d. Make sure that your work center is assigned to your navigation bar profile
    at this moment the report is linked to a standard workcenter, which can be shown on the webui.
    4. In your business role, you need to of course make sure that the flags on the workcenter entries are set on show in menu and directly.
    This should give you the complete picture.

  • Wrong Work center picking up Time sheet

    Scenario is as follows:
    Earlier Employee has HR assignment to one Work center 1 -WC1
    Later, Employee was Assigned to Work center 2- WC2
    Problem: When booking time sheet in CAT2 ,  for service order, WC1 was picking up, even though in Service order WC2 is assigned.
    We have deleted the Employee HR assignment from WC1 , but still in Time sheet WC1 is coming.
    Please suggest.

    Is it possible for anyone to tell, from where the work center is being picked up in CAT2. We are processing time sheet booking for service order. The work center in service order is something different than what is picked up in CAT2.

    *I dont want to put the cost center in work center as we are not capturing the labour cost. so creating only dumy work center for each plant but the cost center is mandatory in work center*
    *I also try to make it non-mandatory through field selection path as shown below but i am not able to that*

    Thnx for givin your valuable time ,,  solution is ok but now every time at i m getting a pop-up(cost center is not assign to the work center ) at the time of creation of notification, equipment, order.
    Is there is any alternate to solution or pl suggest how could remove that pop-up
