Respons Tracking in CRM Marketing Mails

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to create an Inbound Contact (Activity) if a customer clicks on an URL Link in a Mailform (Newsletter) of a marketing campaign. This should trigger the creation of the Inbound Contact in CRM. The Link Tracking of the URL's with ++ and ## are not exactly what we are looking for. As they do only track the click on the link but not of the person who clicked it.
For our scenario we are not using a web shop.
Any advise on this?

Hi,
Please try to do some research on "personalized response code". Although personalized response code is not used exactly in your business scenario but is entered manually by sales assistant or IC Agent. However, you may get some ideas on doing some enhancement based on your requirement.

Print HTML in marketing mail forms

Hi, as plain text editor is a poor formatting editor, we want to use HTML code not only for email marketing output, but also for printing. (if not, how can we use tables, checkboxes, etc. in plain text format?)
How can we use HTML to print marketing mail forms? (if we send html code to printer, no "rendering" is done and html tags are also printed).

Populating CRM marketing attributes using the APD

Hi Experts
We are having problems with populating CRM marketing attributes using the APD. When we run our process we get the error message:
CRMBW_ATTR_WRITE005: Error when processing function module CRMBW_UPDATE_BPMKT_5. Message no. RSAN_MDL024
As you can see, we are using the new function module CRMBW_UPDATE_BPMKT_5 since the old CRMBW_UPDATE_BPMKT did not work either.
Do we have to add a reference to a infoobject in transaction CRMBWTARGETS? We have not done this because the marketing attribute in CRM doesnt have decimals and all the objects in BI have. Could this be the cause of the error?

I have already followed the procedure you have described. Since there is not common objects between ODS and Bpatner infoobject, i am not able to do mapping.
for eg. my ZBPARTNER infoobject has attributes like zfooty, ztennis and zrugby but my ODS has char name , char value, counter for multiple values infoobjects.
I am following the example in the demo content to work out the process but could not understand how the data is getting uploaded from ODS to Business partner.

Dear guru's
Can any body will help me to know about one sap CRM marketing implantation project business scenario.
Like one full process of marketing project and the integration of the other modules like r/3,
Like what end users do if we implanted the marketing project for one company,
Any industry but please give me detailed with the documentation if possible.
I practice with the best practice but iam not able to the comparison to the business process of the company.
No need to tell about company details I want to know only the process.
Like which type of company it is suet or which type of company it is not sute.
If there is any document like this type of company sauté for the marketing and like this type of company suites for the service modules like that.

well talking about the implementation project in CRM
let us assume we are implementing it in BANKING industry
here the requirement is in improvement in the field processing and all the effeciency of the sales or feet on street
so we implement the CRM marketing with CIC
what it will do that we start with first the readiness document that what all are the requirement of the bank and how the company can cope it with the help of CRM
then we prepare the BLUEPRINT to state that the data to be processed will be strucutured in CRM in how many phases or the timely schedule of the roll over of CRM in bank
next up we start with the configuration ,like we have to start campaigns and generate leads for the banks which may get converted into the opportunities
so have to do all the configuration of CRM according to the requirements being given
one thin g i forgot which is very imp is that we do requirement gathering,its pretty imp part of entire process
after getting these only we can do whatever we want with CRm
so after that we realise the configuration in realisation phase then we do those UATs and SITs
this way we phase out the CRM in any sector
just a gist of everything

Update CRM marketing attributes in Product

Hi All,
We have a requirement where in we want to update CRM Marketing attibutes for a given Product.
This has to be done from SAP EP. An interactive form is launched from UWL and this would allow
user to proivde the marketing attribute data. The data is then to be sent for approval via R/3 workflow.
Now I want this data (after approval) to be updated in the product master data in CRM.
Do we have any standard APIs for this ?

I have a same requirement to update the existing value of a marketing attribute. I created a new implementation of BADI "BUPA_GENERAL_UPDATE"
I am using the FM 'CRM_MKTBP_UPDATE_ATTR_BP' to update the value, but the updation fails,,,,
MY requirement is to override the default value for a particular BP_KIND to some other value at the time of creation of BP.
please reply as I am having an urgent delivery of the requirement.

Business Partner Marketing Attributes
Marketing attributes are used in CRM for business partner segmentation and can have single as well as multiple values (for example, hobbies), or can be created as intervals (for example, age from/to).
The multiple value attributes can be extracted using a generic extractor to an ODS object in the BW system. The update to the business partner attributes as well as the attributes themselves strongly depend on the modeling of the marketing attributes in the CRM system. The delivered content is therefore not valid for all situations. For this reason, demo content is delivered with this InfoArea, which you can then use as a template for your own development. Can I attach music tracks to iPhone 4S mail?

Is it possible to send music tracks as attachments using mail with iPhone OS 6.1.1 and recipient using unknown model of iPhone?
If this is possible, is there a limit to track size or total track size?
If it is not possible, I do have a MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion).

Enhanced Layout in CRM Marketing Planer

Hi,
we have a planing layout based an ALV-Grid in the CRM-Marketing-Planer (Campaign-Planing). Now we would migrate from ALV-Grid to Enhanced Layout because ALV-Grid will not more supported with CRM 5.0.
Could anybody told me which Customizing Steps must be run through or which ar the necessary adjustments? Is there any detail documentation?

CRM_MKTPL_DEFAULT_TRADE --> for TPM
CRM_MKTPL_DEFAULT_PLAN --> for Marketing Plan
CRM_MKTPL_DEFAULT_CONSUMER --> for Campaign
CRM_MKTPL_DEFAULT_DEAL --> for Deal
CRM_MKTPL_DEFAULT_MDFINI --> MDF initiative
CRM_MKTPL_DEFAULT_MDFPROG --> MDF Program.
CRM_MKTPL_INVITATION --> Form for marketing Planning.
But you build your custom forms and assign them to any of the above object types. You can get the complete list by CRM--> marketing --> marketing planning & campaign management --> print preview
--> Assign forms to marketing.

I need your help, i have to create a new smartform using the mail forms in marketing.Can any one tell which marketing transaction is used for printing mailing labels and how to find out the output type associated with smartforms. Actually i don't know how sf are executed in CRM.can anybody through some light on this area.

HI Gaurav,
After you create mail form in CRMD_EMAIL, you have to execute it by pressing f8 then you have give the printer which is already defined in SPRO settings of marketing.
Thats only way you can print the mail form of a BP.
