Response Recording for Campaigns

Hi All
Please tell how can i locate that Response Recording iView ,i want tostore the campaign response,we have this iView where we can manually store the campaign response but i am not able to locate in CRM(2007) system,
Please tell and also please share any other possible way existing in CRM system for storing the Customers Responses for the Campaign Executed.
Any Help will be highly appreciated.
Regards
Ashish

Hi
Thanks for the reply, what we are trying to do is
We are attaching a Lead survey & generating a URL & attaching the URL in Email which we send to customers as a part of campaign.
Now when customers see his mail & clieck at that URL it will take him to the survey screen &  then he gives his responses & submit it.
Now what we want is to see what responses he has given on the basis of which lead can be created or else.
SO regarding what you said that who cliecked it ,when he cliecked & number of times he cliecked, this info we are getting but the actual response the customer has given that we are not able to locate
Currently BI is not in place so we have to do this tracking of response in CRM only.
Please suggest what is the needful.
Regards
Ashish

  • Need a report on delivery status and response status for capaign recipients

hi, i need to make a report on delivery status and response status for capaign recipients but cannot find them in the campaign subject area nor the campaign response subject area, any idea?
    thanks

Correct the Campaign Response History is the report you are looking for. The fields that may be helpful to you are.
Response status - This shows message opened, click-thru's, opt outs etc
Delivery status - Hard bounce, soft bounce etc
To get more details from the above results add the following.
Response type - This will show the URL that was clicked on a click-thru in case you have multiple links tracked in one email. It will also show the reason for hard bounces. This is important because not all hard bounces will trigger the "Never Email" flag to be checked. This occurs for emails with the bounce statuses of Bad Address,
Address Moved or Unknown Address only.

  • Assign partner determination procedure for campaign automation

    Dear all,
could anyone help me how to set up Partner determination in CRM? I try to create campaign automation and when I want to release it I get this error message:
    Diagnosis
Campaign 1: Parties involved have been assigned to this marketing project. However, there is no partner determination procedure assigned to type "Product Promotion" (Z002).
    System Response
The partner determination procedure is determined from the type. If you select a type that does not have a partner determination procedure assigned to it in Customizing although parties involved are assigned to the marketing project, the assigned parties involved cannot be validated. You therefore need to choose a type with a partner determination procedure assigned if parties involved are assigned to the marketing project.
Afterwards I§m not allowed to save the campaign changes and to release the campaign.
Please, how can I assign the Partner determination procedure?
    Thank you very much
    Michal

    Hi,
For setting up partner determination procedure for Campaign, goto transaction spro.
Choose CRM->Marketing ->Marketing Planning and Campaign Management
In here, please expand the node 'Partner Processing'. There is IMG documentation help available on how to set up PDP.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nisha

Then i created a batch file to run the response file , it installed , but when i check the compmonents what ever is installed, it never recorded all the components which i installed during the time of RECORD mode
is there any thing i need to do for record all the components
    Please advice
    Thank you

We need to run both the run time installation and custom installation
when i did record i was able to get only the run time installation, the components which i customized, i never got, after when i try to install the response file, it never installa all the components
what should i do to make both runtime and custom to be done in one response file,
i have a .rsp files which do install the custom with all installtion, but we also need

  • HPUX response file for 10g

Can anyone provide example response file(s) for doing a 'silent' install ( -silent ) on an HPUX platform for Oracle 10g? Oracle provides some for Solaris, but has indicated none exist for HPUX. When we tried to use the -record feature, it failed, so that was no help in providing any further information.
Another related question is if one can dictate such values as %increase, max_datafiles etc somewhere in the response file. This could be done in response files for Oracle 8.1.6, but the differences between the example files for 8.1.6 and 10g are substantial.
    Thank you,
    Karl Bergerson

Why not creating the first response file using the Create script? Then use this script for your other environments.

  • Exchange 2003 SMTP resolves to incorrect MX record for Outbound emails

Starting October 2007, we have encountered numerous incidents where users complaint that they can not send emails to randomly with Relayed Denied error.
First we thought the problem is with the receipient servers, but after reviewing the SMTP log intensively, I have noticed that the SMTP service on Exchange Server 2003 SP2 tries to send out emails to wrong IP Addresses (instead of sending out to listed IP of MX record, it tries to send to primary domain IP address).
To test further, we have changed the DNS server of the Exchange Server to public DNS service provided by the ISPs and still received same result.
If the user tries to send the email again (from the bounced back message), it some times goes through.
Has anyone know what the problem is?
Have checked the server configuration, DNS configuration, ran all updates, and yet still same result.  Is one of the Microsoft Updates causing this issue?

Here is the official explanation i got from MS, sounds like it is doing what they expect it to do.
    Problem Description
When Exchange 2003 sends e-mail to the Internet using DNS to resolve external domain names a DNS query is done for the remote domain's MX records. In the event that the initial MX query returns a "server failure", Exchange 2003 will fall back to a DNS A record query. If this query is, in turn, successful and there is an A record for the domain in question that happens to be listening on port 25, Exchange will make a connection to that server. However, if this server does not relay, or accept e-mail for the intended domain a NDR will be generated with a 5.7.1, or
    5.5.0 error message.
There are several domains that have A records that point to IP addresses that accept connections on port 25, but do not relay for the same name space:
    Eg: Mindspring.com; Earthlink.net
    Resolution
Resolve the DNS resolution problems that are causing occasional MX record failures.
    Examples:
    1. The Exchange server has multiple default gateways set on a multi-homed server.
This is not a recommended configuration and can cause a number of unexpected network problems. If the internal DNS server the internal NIC points to cannot resolve external DNS queries, this problem can occur.
Action: remove the default gateway from one of the NICs.
This doesn’t applies to us, as we don’t use Internal DNS
    2. If the Exchange server points to multiple DNS servers on TCP/IP properties, or on the SMTP Virtual Server properties, verify that each of these DNS servers will return MX records properly. If one of the DNS servers does not return DNS records consistently, rectify this problem.
Action: remove this DNS server from the external DNS tab.
    Workaround:
Bypass DNS by creating a SMTP connector with address space of <domain.com> and forward to smart host as the IP address the MX/A points to.
    Exchange Query Explained
    1. If Exchange finds the MX record(s) for a remote domain (through DNS query) it will not fall back to an A record query in the event the MX record (more precisely, the A record the MX record points to) is temporarily not responding on port 25. Instead, Exchange will try another MX record if one exists. If no other MX records exist and none are responding on port 25, the queue will go into a retry state for this remote domain. When that retry state has expired, Exchange will again attempt to resolve MX records for this domain, and so on.
    2. Exchange will fall back to an A record query for the remote domain in the event that no MX record can be found. This is not to say that the MX record does not exist - only that when Exchange issued a DNS query for the remote domain the DNS response was "server failure", which basically means no MX was found. So, the MX record may indeed exist, but Exchange simply could not find it through DNS resolution.
    3. Exchange then queries the A record and this happens to return a result. If the A record is listening on port 25, but does not accept mail for <domain.com> then we will get the NDR with 550 5.7.1 unable to relay (or some variation of this NDR error code) when Exchange connects and attempts to send the e-mail.
So, the intermittent nature of the problem is caused by a failure to find the MX record and a success in finding A record. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but it boils down to flakey DNS resolution.
    For example:
    a. A bad DNS server listed as a forwader on the DNS server.
    b. A bad DNS server on the TCP/IP properties.
    c. A bad DNS server on the SMTP VS (external DNS servers)
    d. Multiple default gateways on Exchange (ie. multiple NICs on different networks, each NIC having a default GW)
A netmon on Exchange will show the failed MX lookup and successful A record lookup; however, it may not be conclusive unless the "bad" DNS server is listed in the netmon trace. For example, if Exchange points to internal DNS server(s) for name resolution and these DNS servers service these DNS queries by Exchange, you may need a netmon on the DNS server(s) as well to determine which DNS server/Forwarder/etc is at fault.

  • Multiple results recording for Delivery inspection lot

    Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to configure for quality results recording for sales delivery document. Where client wants to record Customer, supplier, Umpire, etc results record for inspection characteristics.
I got response from few Sapiens that I should use Inspection point concept for multiple results recording. Could anyone cna tell me how can I do this.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Hi Kumar,
    Okay!
First of all letu2019s try to understand whether inspection points are really suitable for your requirement or not. Accordingly further errors can be eliminated. I just try to understand.
    A- Using Inspection Points
    1.     Inspection points are used when you inspect the same parameters again and again.
    2.     When you click on results tab in QA32, system asks you put some identification number. Letu2019s say you put A1 and then press enter. Thereafter you record the actual results (LENGTH, WIDTH etc.) You save this without giving UD.
    3.     For the next time when you again click on results for the same inspection lot, system again asks you to put identification number. This time suppose you put A2. Then again you record the results (LENGTH, WIDTH) for A2.
    4.     Likewise you can retrieve the inspection results from system with respect to inspection point (identification point).
    5.     Typically this can be used for chemical industries where you record the temperature of the same chemical after every ½ an hour. Here 10:00 am, 10:30 am can be used as identifications numbers. As a result of which you can get the information that at 10:00 am temperature was 40 Deg and at 10:30 am it was 75 degree Celsius.
If your requirement resembles this situation, then only the use of inspection points would be fruitful.
    B- Without Inspection Points
But if you want to record the readings by various agencies like customer, umpire (refer following pattern)and want to compare them there are other ways.
    1.     Reading by your inspector
    a.     LENGTH u2013 100, 101, 102mm (average is 101mm)
    b.     WIDTH     - 10.50, 10.50, 10.60mm (average is 31.6mm)
    2.     Reading by customer
    a.     LENGTH u2013 100, 101, 102mm (average is 101mm)
    b.     WIDTH     - 10.50, 10.50, 10.60mm (average is 31.6mm)
    3.     Reading by umpire
    a.     LENGTH u2013 100, 101, 102mm (average is 101mm)
    b.     WIDTH     - 10.50, 10.50, 10.60mm (average is 31.6mm)
You can achieve this without using inspection points also. For this in QP02 you need to create 3 operation; Inspector, Customer and umpire respectively. Feed the MICs in each of these operations. When you click on result tab system will throw pop up for these 3 operations. Double click on Umpire if you want to record results noted by umpire. Likewise for rest of the operations. You can do this even after UD also (after 1-2 months also). You need to use MIC with control indicator as long term characteristics for this in QS23.
Regarding averaging of results u2013 This can be achieved using single result recording MIC with or without inspection points. Use appropriate sampling procedure. When you feed results in QA32 system automaticaaly averages out the reading. This can be viewable against phi symbol.
Finally you did mention that u201Chere I am not getting the newly created inspection lotsu201D. Does that mean inspection lot (10 origin) has not created?

  • CUCM 9.1 Call Recording for analogue devices

    Hi,
We are designing a CUCM 9.1 solution where Active Call Recording for analogue devices feature is required.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/9_0_1/ccmfeat/CUCM_BK_CEF0C471_00_cucm-features-and-services-guide_chapter_0100110.html
According the feautre list support it seems that is supported by the old ata 186 but not by the ata 187.
Then, how could we achieve this on a new deployment? Has anyone had the chance to deal with this?
Many thanks in advance. Thank you very much,
    Francesc

This is a weak spot in the native Cisco solution portfolio. I'll try to give one option but hopefully others will chime in with something more clever.
The MediaSense product can record trunk-side from Cisco CUBE which allows for device-agnostic recording; however, that only works if you're not concerned about internal calls to/from the analog phones (i.e. just to/from the PSTN). Getting the last part seems to require old fashioned SPAN recording to a capture server of a third party. This can get dicey though because most of the third-party recording vendors manually decipher the SCCP packets to figure out the calling/called party information. Be sure to ask them whether SCCP- or MGCP-controlled gateways are supported.
Please remember to rate helpful responses and identify helpful or correct answers.

  • Create BDC recording for position, job, role

    hi all,
i want to create BDC recording for position, job, role . what is the transaction for creating postion, job, role?/??
and i have to check wheather for one job , role is there or not? if not i have to create that role.. similiarly i have to check for position that there is corresponding job is there or not.. if not i have to create the job???
    how would i do that??
    thanks
    SAchin

    Hi Sachin,
    1) Creating BDC is an ABAP-ers job and being functional its not ur responsibility. If u really want to do that then u can do it through T.Code - SHDB.
While creating BDC for Position u have to go through T.Cdoe - SHDB and in that give PP01 in the TRANSACTION CODE feild. Then go on for recording.  After that ask the help of an ABAP-er.
    2) To Check if a POSITION or a JOB is there, then Go to T.Code - PP01, under Obj Abbr. feild put S for POSITION and C for JOB and press enter after entering the POSITION and JOB id. U'll get the result. OK
    3) To check for ROLE, u have go to T.Code - PFCG and there check for the particular ROLE u r looking for. Here in this T.Code u can actually create, change and delete the ROLES.OK
    Hope this helps,

Since you don’t allow emails any more – I suspect because of the numerous complaints with your service and the way you treat people that you don’t want documented, I am calling and I want this call recorded for future reference.
I have been a long time faithful customer of vzw and although the past year I have been late on payments many times and really couldn’t afford your exorbitant prices for services lots of other companies offer sometimes three times cheaper than what you charge, I have hung in there trying my best to meet my obligations.
This month has been no exception. You don’t know the background; the whole story of people’s lives. I know you could care less because all you care about is the profit-the money that comes in.
I was told when I agreed to pay my bill on the third per the recorded message that I had 14 days to pay…you cut me off anyway. The phones are not the tissue; your suspending my service means I cannot work. I may lose my job…how do you justify that? In any case? The least you could do would be to keep 4986 on and cut the phones off. But no. You refuse to compromise and meet the basic needs of your customer. What does that say about your company? I tried to call back on three separate occasions to tell you I couldn’t pay because of unexpected expenses but couldn’t get out of the automated system…sadly couldn’t get to a real person which also speaks volumes to me.
All this tells me this is a company I don’t wish to be affiliated with any more. As soon as I can, I will discontinue service with you…I know you could care less. I will honor the remaining portion of the contract but that’s it. You don’t deserve my business. I am a good, hardworking person who, at the sacrifice of myself and my needs, always pays her bills…albeit late at times. I realize others tell you stories and lies to justify themselves. That’s not me. If you knew what I had been through the last 7 yrs you would marvel that I am  still on my feet…don’t judge too quickly. You could be wrong…and in my eyes you are by doing this to me.
God will see us through this extremely scary time of that I have no doubt. No thanks to your company and lack of understanding and mercy. I am doing the best I can. Sadly you are not.
See I have choices. MANY choices of providers for services you offer. I don’t have to be treated like this. I don’t have to succumb to your coldness and callousness. I intend to choose better (and cheaper). If your company doesn’t get the “people factor” back you will be sorry.

Problem here is you admit you cannot afford the service.
And you want to blame Verizon for losing a job because you have no cell phone.
If your job depends on that phone I would pay it on time every time if you need a job to pay your bill.
No other service is going to treat you any different. And if you cannot afford Verizon's monthly invoice how are you going to afford new devices, activation fees, possible security deposits on any other cellular carrier? You can't.
Also if you made an arraignment to pay and then decide you cannot do so, why should Verizon extend you service or credit, or why is it you want to use the service and data and not pay for it as agreed.
Get a prepay phone. Its evident the cost is too high for you to afford on post pay.
    Good Luck

  • SQL help: return number of records for each day of last month.

Hi: I have records in the database with a field in the table which contains the Unix epoch time for each record. Letz say the Table name is ED and the field utime contains the Unix epoch time.
Is there a way to get a count of number of records for each day of the last one month? Essentially I want a query which returns a list of count (number of records for each day) with the utime field containing the Unix epoch time. If a particular day does not have any records I want the query to return 0 for that day. I have no clue where to start. Would I need another table which has the list of days?
    Thanks
    Ray

Peter: thanks. That helps but not completely.
When I run the query to include only records for July using a statement such as following
    ============
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS */ COUNT(ED.UTIMESTAMP), TO_CHAR((TO_DATE('01/01/1970','MM/DD/YYYY') + (ED.UTIMESTAMP/86400)), 'MM/DD') AS DATA
    FROM EVENT_DATA ED
    WHERE AGENT_ID = 160
    AND (TO_CHAR((TO_DATE('01/01/1970','MM/DD/YYYY')+(ED.UTIMESTAMP/86400)), 'MM/YYYY') = TO_CHAR(SYSDATE-15, 'MM/YYYY'))
    GROUP BY TO_CHAR((TO_DATE('01/01/1970','MM/DD/YYYY') + (ED.UTIMESTAMP/86400)), 'MM/DD')
    ORDER BY TO_CHAR((TO_DATE('01/01/1970','MM/DD/YYYY') + (ED.UTIMESTAMP/86400)), 'MM/DD');
    =============
    I get the following
    COUNT(ED.UTIMESTAMP) DATA
    1 07/20
    1 07/21
    1 07/24
    2 07/25
    2 07/27
    2 07/28
    2 07/29
    1 07/30
    2 07/31
Some dates donot have any records and so no output. Is there a way to show the missing dates with a COUNT value = 0?
    Thanks
    Ray
