Response time and transaction count

Any body know, how can i to obtain the response time and count transaction in the database server 9i ?
regards.
MDF

Statspack would be a good starting point. You'll need to define "response time" for your application, but statspack should provide you with the info you need.

  • "Time stamp, Response time and Completion time" in CRM_DNO_MONITOR

    Hi,
We have configured Service desk functionality in Solution Manager 4.0.
In CRM_DNO_MONITOR we were able to see all the data except "Time stamp(0), Response time(00:00:00) and Completion time(00:00:00)" of Service desk message.
Kindly let us know, how to configure so that  "Time stamp, Response time and Completion time" should be displayed in CRM_DNO_MONITOR.

    Hi,
Do u want this for SLA?
In the service desk you have to assign the date profile to the SLFN transaction type.
For this you can use the standard date profile SLFN_HEADER.
award point if it helps you.

  • SAP BO Report Execution time and Record count

    Hi All,
We have a requirement to set the limits on report execution time and record count centrally. Can you please help me to identify where exactly we have to define the settings in CMC for BO4.
    Thanks in advance,
    Shalini

    Hi Shalini,
    Please follow these steps, also check in for any more details if any;
    Step 1: Launch CMC
    Step 2: Select Servers
Step 3: Select Web Intelligence processing Server, right click and Goto Properties
Step 4: Maximum List Of Values Size (entries) default value is 50000.
Step 5: Increase this value if your "LOVS" greater than this value.
    Step 6: Save and close.
    Step 7: Restart the server.
    Hope this helps.

  • ELoad - request time / response time / web transaction ?

Hi there, does anyone know if the test results presented by eLoad should be understood as request time (time between the last byte sent and the first received), response time (first sent, first received) or web transaction (the longest one - first sent, last received)? It really matters when trying to interpret the results properly... In advance thanks for help.

    Hi
The results presented by eLoad are the overall request/response times together, so since the moment you sent the request until you have received the response and contents.
    Does this help?

  • SAP GoLive : File System Response Times and Online Redologs design

    Hello,
A SAP Going Live Verification session has just been performed on our SAP Production environnement.
    SAP ECC6
    Oracle 10.2.0.2
    Solaris 10
As usual, we received database configuration instructions, but I'm a little bit skeptical about two of them :
    1/
We have been told that our file system read response times "do not meet the standard requirements"
The following datafile has ben considered having a too high average read time per block.
File name -Blocks read  -  Avg. read time (ms)  -Total read time per datafile (ms)
    /oracle/PMA/sapdata5/sr3700_10/sr3700.data10          67534                         23                               1553282
I'm surprised that an average read time of 23ms is considered a high value. What are exactly those "standard requirements" ?
    2/
We have been asked  to increase the size of the online redo logs which are already quite large (54Mb).
Actually we have BW loading that generates "Chekpoint not comlete" message every night.
I've read in sap note 79341 that :
"The disadvantage of big redo log files is the lower checkpoint frequency and the longer time Oracle needs for an instance recovery."
Frankly, I have problems undertanding this sentence.
Frequent checkpoints means more redo log file switches, means more archive redo log files generated. right ?
But how is it that frequent chekpoints should decrease the time necessary for recovery ?
    Thank you.
Any useful help would be appreciated.

    Hello
    >> I'm surprised that an average read time of 23ms is considered a high value. What are exactly those "standard requirements" ?
The recommended ("standard") values are published at the end of sapnote #322896.
23 ms seems really a little bit high to me - for example we have round about 4 to 6 ms on our productive system (with SAN storage).
    >> Frequent checkpoints means more redo log file switches, means more archive redo log files generated. right?
    Correct.
    >> But how is it that frequent chekpoints should decrease the time necessary for recovery ?
A checkpoint is occured on every logswitch (of the online redologfiles). On a checkpoint event the following 3 things are happening in an oracle database:
Every dirty block in the buffer cache is written down to the datafiles
The latest SCN is written (updated) into the datafile header
The latest SCN is also written to the controlfiles
If your redologfiles are larger ... checkpoints are not happening so often and in this case the dirty buffers are not written down to the datafiles (in the case of no free space in the buffer cache is needed). So if your instance crashes you need to apply more redologs to the datafiles to be in a consistent state (roll forward). If you have smaller redologfiles more log switches are occured and so the SCNs in the data file headers (and the corresponding data) are closer to the newest SCN -> ergo the recovery is faster.
But this concept does not really fit the reality because of oracle implements some algorithm to reduce the workload for the DBWR in the case of a checkpoint.
There are also several parameters (depends on the oracle version) which control that a required recovery time is kept. (for example FAST_START_MTTR_TARGET)

  • Showing date, time and/or counter - HELP!

I need the date and a counter to show (superimposed?) over the video in my iMovie. I know the date and time recorded was imported with the video files from my DV camcorder because they are available in File Info. The video recorded was a court deposition for a lawyer, and they will want the date recorded to show on the video. I'm also guessing they'll want a counter for easy access to certain parts of the video if needed. How can I do this?

    Sue,
I did purchase and download the timecode overlay plug-ins you referenced. While they appear to be what I need, when I try to apply them to any of my clips, the clip just turns completely black with no sound. I know this gets into another topic, but any ideas?
    Thanks so much!

  • "Windows 8 using 100% of HDD with high average response times and low read/write speed"

Turns out this is a fairly well known windows 8.1 issue that has been plaguing users since at least 2013 and there is no one simple fix, so it may not be *entirely* hp's fault; but I've had two of these laptops, both the same model, the first one needing to be returned and exchanged for an entirely unrelated issue (hardware failure: ethernet port nonfunctional with lights stuck on). Both are refurbished. Both have been extreemly slow and unresponsive even compared to a lesser Brazos powered laptop I had before, but I've only recently decided to investigate why.
So if there is something HP specific going on here, I hope there is one simple fix. My average response time has gone up as far as well over a minute (>60,000ms), so I may be an outlier case here compared to the typical windows 8.1 hardrive responsiveness/bandwidth problem.
Edit: there is a case with another HP pavilion laptop (intel powered though, so it may be an intel storage driver issue described in the first link) being much, much worse.
    This question was solved.

Guess what just now happened again
So using DISM did _not_ fix it.

  • Make Edit time and Edit count info available in Loupe Info, grid view option, Edit History panel and Smart Collection

We all know that Lightroom can sort images in grid view by edit time or edit count. I cannot find any way to display edit time and/or edit count in view option or loupe info. I think these should be made viewable. Without them, when you have a large batch of image and you previously edited only some and come back later to finish, you don't know which ones need more work, etc.
Another useful thing is that Edit History should have an option to show the date/time of the edit. It may be shown when mouse is hovered over an edit item line.
Similarly, smart folder can filter the images by Edit Time being before/after a certain date. However, if I have no way of knowing what the edit times and counts are, this feature has little use.
Alll of the above should be a specific date like 08-20-2009 or Today, yesterday, 43 days ago, etc. Both forms are useful for different purposes.

    Good idea.
Also, it would be good if the SDK functions for updating custom metadata did not necessarily bump the edit time.

  • Version 7.4 First Response Time and TIcket Close Time Metrics

Can someone advise on how the First Response Time (Avg) and Ticket Close Time (Avg) are calculated on the Help Desk dashboard? What I am wondering is if a ticket is accepted but no comment entered, is the acceptance considered first response? Also in the Ticket Close time, does it exclude weekends and/or time spent in the "waiting on user" state?

  • Slow response time and frequent lockups?

Why does my Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 constantly lock up (not responding on Task Manager) and/or the response time to do anything is unacceptable (1 minute oe more to do a rename).  I don't think my lap top is the issue is brand new with 6GB of RAM.  I'm to Adobe Elements and Photoshop and so far I disappointed.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

It could be any number of things -- but you haven't given us enough information to be able to help you.
Are you running the 64-bit version of Windows 7? You may want to check out the 64-bit version of Windows 10. It runs like the wind on that OS!
New computers are usually full of outdated drivers, temp files and fragmentation.
Have you manually gone to Windows Update and downloaded all of the latest updates? Do you have the latest version of Quicktime, per the program's requirements?
When did you last clean and defragment your system? In my books, I recommend Advanced System Care from iobit. It cleans your temp files, tunes your registry and defragments with a single button. And it's free!

When does it lock up? When you first starting the program or when you're in the midst of editing? What is the source of the video you're editing when it locks?

  • Six Month Fault Time and Still Counting

Been advised to post here by BT retention department as someone may take up my complaint.
Our local exchange Wickersley was upgraded last July(2011) since then our BB has been slow or not usable. Fault has been reported approx 8 times, engineer finally visited last December, poor pairs was his outcome, pairs swapped and exchange port reset. Still poor service, que many calls to India and attempts to sort out the problem remotely, I knew this was a waste of time as I am a telecomm installer of over 30 years experience, including exchanges, fibre broadband and multi pair cable. Finally achieved a visit by a second engineer this last week who to his credit spent many hours checking out all the faulty pairs and identified the fault to the underground cable to the house. This was supposed to be replaced this Saturday, no show by any one. Que more calls to India and UK, no managers phone number available to take ownership of this fault, please can someone just SORT THIS OUT AND TAKE OWNERSHIP. Who do I turn to next? Ofcom?

One of the UK Based BT Care Team should be able to help. Please contact them using this form.
    http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951
They usually take ownership, until the fault is cleared. They should be able to look at the current status of the fault.

  • Firefox has a delayed response time and is laggy and slow. It has a delayed response time.

I typically have 3-4 windows open (use a compaq laptop and windows 7) and there is a "freeze" before firefox responds and it's laggy and slow.

    Have you disabled hardware acceleration?
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
    * [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
    * [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]

  • Average response times for VA01 and VA02 transactions

    Hi,
we have some users complaining about response times, more specific for VA01 and VA02 transactions. We would like to compare our average response times to those of other companies in order to get an idea of what is acceptable to most companies. If you are willing to contribute, can you please send a few hours of STAD data (only for VA01 and VA02 transactions) of an average working day? Perhaps you can download the data into a spreadsheet and mail the zipped file to my account Many thanks.
    Best regards,
    Guido Van Leuven

    Hi,
This is not the issue. We are investigating everything possible to improve our response times and we believe that that these are ok as well. We just want to build a case where we can prove that our response times are not worse than those at other companies and that we can do only by comparing those statistics.

  • How to find the Response time for a particular Transaction

    Hello Experts,
Am implementing a BAdI to achieve some customer enhancement for XD01 Transaction . I need to confirm to customer that after the implementation and before implementation what is the response time of the system
    Response time BEFORE BAdI Implementation
    Response time AFTER BAdI Implementation
    Where can i get this.
    Help me in this regard
    Best Regards
    SRiNi

    Hello,
Within STAD, enter the time range that the user was executing the transaction within as well as the user name. The time field indicates the time when the transaction would have ended. STAD adds some extra time on using your time interval. Depending on how long the transaction ran, you can set the length you want it to display. This means that if it is set to 10, STAD will display statistical records from transactions that ended within that 10 minute period.
The selection screen also gives you a few options for display mode.
    - Show all statistic records, sorted by star
This shows you all of the transaction steps, but they are not grouped in any way.
-Show all records, grouped by business transaction
This shows the transaction steps grouped by transaction ID (shown in the record as Trans. ID). The times are not cumulative. They are the times for each individual step.
    -Show Business Transaction Tots
This shows the transaction steps grouped by transaction ID. However, instead of just listing them you can drill from the top level down. The top level will show you the overall response time, and as you drill down, you can get to the overall response time.
Note that you also need to add the user into the selection criteria. Everything else you can leave alone in this case.
Once you have the records displayed, you can double click them to get a detailed record. This will show you the following:
    - Breakdown of response time (wait for work process, processing time, load time, generating time, roll time, DB time, enqueue time). This makes STAD a great place to start for performance analysis as you will then know whether you will need to look at SQL, processing, or any other component of response time first.
    - Stats on the data selected within the execution
    - Memory utilization of the transaction
    - RFCs executed (including the calling time and remote execution time - very useful with performance analysis of interfaces)
    - Much more.
As this chain of comments has previously indicated, you are best off using STAD if you want an accurate indication of response time. The ST12 (combines SE30 ABAP trace and ST05 SQL trace) trace times are less accurate that the values you get from ST12. I am not discounting the value of ST12 by any means. This is a very powerful tool to help you tune your transactions.
I hope this information is helpful!

  • CPU bits and Moniter response times

Do the G5 iMacs have a 32 bit CPU or 64 bit?
What is the response time for the monitors on the G5s?
Answers would be great! Thank you.
super duper di duper scooper pooper in your face   Windows XP

    Welcome to the discussions!
All G5s are full 64-bit CPUs.
As far as pixel response time goes, that is not something that Apple has ever published, but AFAIK the iMacs use the same LG.Philips LM201W01 panel as the 20" Cinema display. Depending on who you believe, that panel has either a 16 or 12 ms response time.
Apple uses S-IPS panels for their superior color matching capabilities due to the fact that so many people in creative careers use Macs. Response time is not as important as color accuracy.
The TN panels used by many manufacturers have a much better response time and contrast ratio, but are clearly not as good as S-IPS for color.
