Responsive eCommerce templates for trial site

Hi,
Are there any responsive eCommerce templates to choose from for the BC trial sites?
The eCommerce template I chosse for my trial site is not Responsive, the other template I choose from the BC templates is responsive out of the box.

To do "direct" processing of credit card transactions you need a secure site for the shopping cart (monthly fee) and a site that processes the credit card (monthly and/or transaction fee) while with PayPal they take care of all that and all you pay is a transaction fee (I think 3% of each charge, but not 100% sure of that)

First I created Sub site using Project Template under the site collection.

Update content type template for existing sites in sharepoint 2010 ?

Hi,
I created one custom document library (list definition) and associated 3 content types which has docment template path (\_layouts.template1.docx). I rollout nearly 200 sites with this definition. now i want to update my document template and also i want
to change template docx to dotx.
what is the best approach to apply these changes for existing sites ?

As I understand, you want to update the template
for existed content type.
It can be achieved by programming. There is a
SPContentType.DocumentTemplateUrl Property, which can be used to update content type.

Financial Report Template for Trial Balance

Dear All,
      I was prepared the financial report Template, for trail Balance as per Schedule VI (6) after completation of template i exucute the trail balance by the using of above template.
For the execution of the above report i used the selection cretario i taken as "Annual Report" and i run the report - it has execuatated successfully.
After that i changed my selection cretaria as a "Quartlly" and i run the Report,
but in that report is showing some values , these values not showing in Annual Report.
    Please Guide to me.

Hi Atul,
SBO uses two different templates for the Trial Balance Report based on the Period Selection.
<b>Annual Report
Template: CBL1 - Trial Balance
Quaterly, Monthly, etc.
Template: CBL4 - Periodic Trail Balance</b>
So you have probably customised CBL1 (per Schedule VI (6)) which works for Annual.
<i><b>You have to also customise CBL4 - Periodic Trail Balance the same way so that it can work for the others.</b></i>

Max size for trial site on business catalyst?

Not sure if this belongs on Business Catalyst forum, but is there a maximum trial site size? I see that the standard webBasics (which comes with Muse) has 100MB of space, can we go over that in the trial site and buy the extra space later?

There is no maximum trial size, you can build your site and then once you upgrade to a paid plan you'll be able to buy more overages.

I know you can create responsive designs from scratch easy enough once you get going, but I'm in a hurry to get an existing site changed over to a responsive layout and was wanting recommendations for sites to buy ready done templates from that are designed for using in DWCS6

Trial sites rant

As I am continuing to explore the possibilities of Business Catalyst, I bought a recent template deal from Tribevita. I downloaded their templates, which in turn zapped the amount of trial sites (100 max) available to create new Muse site tests or any trial sites I might want to create from BC.
I am a free partner ... how are we supposed to test the BC environment out with the 100 limit?
So I have been told I must DELETE the templates i downloaded to free up trial site space, which is ABSURD. In the meantime, I am paying for a Creative Cloud subscription, where I use Muse for mocking up designs, but I can't trial site anything anymore because the templates I downloaded have used all that spots up.
What am I missing here, BC? Are we really expected to pay $995 to upgrade to a partnership so I can use Muse (which mind you I am paying $50/mo that i now can't use).
Has anyone else come across issues like this? An d warning: if you do purchase templates, in the hopes of using them in the future, they all count against the trial max.

Just seems like there should be a difference between templates and trial sites.
A Drupal or WP user can collect hundreds of templates for future use, and then load it in for a live dev site when they choose. In BC, if I understand it, it's not like I can load up a .zip file into the BC environment and then activate it as trial site then. It's instantly counting against the trial max and that's a limitation for it being a SAAS vs. something you can load locally in MAMP.
If BC templates were at least treated as not live, just something that could be activated to a trial site when needed, that would be useful. I think BC has a lot of potential, I like it a lot (coming from a Drupal 6 user) ...
By way of Muse, yes, it is a different thing all together .. i am now looking at a different hosting solution for those sites and trials .. and use the free BC partner account to host the templates.

Is there a way for a site owner to copy a custom calendar that resides on a site on one site collection to a site on another site collection?

A user contacted me about copying and moving information from an old site that is being retired to a new site.
The most important info is the department calendar.
I don't see a way to use the "Manage content and structure" functionality to copy or move a calendar from one site collection to another.
And site owners do not generally have enough permissions to create templates into the gallery.
Is this just not possible for him to do on his own?

I gave up and created templates for the site owner and created the corresponding list for them on the new site.
I was startled to discover that even though I said I wanted to include all content, the 4 columns that were of type "people picker" did not, for the most part, transfer.
So the columns will have to be manually entered. But at least the rest of the effort is done.

Purchased 'eCommerce Template' but not able to edit most of it in Dreamweaver?

up and I can only edit the body of the template, the navigation
(including some stupid advertising banners) are 'greyed' out and I
can't edit them. What do I need to remove in the code to get this
thing going?

You would have to have a good understanding of DW Templates
and how they
work before tackling this *big* job. It is proper to have the
navigation in
a non-editable region - otherwise you'd have to manually edit
it on every
page, which is NOT what you want to do.
If the edits you want to make are edits that you want to
propagate to all
child pages, then you'd have to make those edits to the
TEMPLATE page, not
to a child page as you have posted below.

You done the right thing, you need to enable the publishing feature on your site (if not enabled earlier) which enables that only published content will be shown to the anonymous users.
If you are still getting prompts for credentials then it means your content is not published properly, make sure you have published all pages, images, js and css files properly, because if any thing is not published properly then you get a prompt to enter
credentials.

Will a mobile view (responsive UI) required for Intranet site?
I believe the URL not accessible through mobile.

Hi Sunil,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to know if the mobile view of intranet site can be accessed through mobile device.
If the mobile devices have wifi and are on your internal network, then we can access the mobile view of intranet site through mobile device.
But if you are using a cellular network (and thus are external to your LAN) you will indeed need to publish your site externally for these devices to access.

I am having trouble getting buttons to work in Captivate 8 trial version using a responsive design template. Any suggestions?

I have a trial version of Captivate 8 that I am evaluating to determine if it will be an option to replace a software we currently use. However I am having a lot of trouble getting even the simplest of tasks to work using the responsive design template. To troubleshoot I created 2 projects 1st a completed empty project using responsive design and a 2nd blank project using the blank project template. I created an audio file that the button, when pressed, will play. I can place a button on first slide of both projects, rollovers work fine, but in the responsive design project buttons will not work to trigger the action. Is this a known issue in the trial version?

A Blank project is a normal cptx-project, not a responsive project, it has no breakpoint views like a responsive project, it is meant to have always the same layout but on publishing you can choose to have it 'rescale' automatically. A responsive project allows you to create slightly different layouts for the three breakpoint views: Primary (desktop/laptop/landscape on tablets), Tablet (portrait on tablet) and mobile (phones, where the browser has much lower resolution than the real phone resolution). The 'look' of a project, whether it is responsive or not will be defined by the Theme that is the default theme at that moment, and with the default theme colors that you have at that moment. I think in newbie mode the default theme is White (not sure, never used newbie mode). If you choose another theme as default theme, a blank project and a responsive project will open with that theme applied to it. All themes coming with CP8 are responsive, but you can use them also for normal projects, in that case you only use the object styles for Primary view. Each object style normally has 3 versions, for the 3 breakpoint views.

Using a single file as a template for th whole site

My Application.cfm file has the code that i am using as a
template for the rest of my site. On the template, the title
section looks like this. <cfif

and the title variable is set on the end page. lets just say
test.cfm but when i view test.cfm the title is always Welcome. How
can i fix this. and this also goes along with my content. On the

the same divs only with all the page-relevant information in them,
but they never show up. I know that this is how you do it in php.
but how do you do it in ColdFusion

Theres a few things you could do here... none of which I
think is the perfect solution. It all depends on your preference as
well as the needs of your application.
-- Move your page title code to another file - call it
Header.cfm or something along those lines -- and include it in
every page after you set the pagetitle variable.
-- Use Javascript to add the page title to some div at the
top of the page when it loads. (not my favorite option here)
-- Check out the CF tag cfsavecontent. You could save the
generated HTML in test.cfm into a variable and output it later. Put
your pagetitle code in OnRequestEnd.cfm, which is called AFTER
every template is executed. Set your pagetitle variable in test.cfm
and save the HTML into a variable, then in OnRequestEnd.cfm output
the pagetitle followed by your generated content.

I can enter a webadress in the adress field but when I hit enter nothing happens, If I press with my mouse on the side for the site to load it loads perfectly but enter pressing is non-responsive
