Responsive Symbols

How can I make a symbol responsive to the size of the browser window?
In my time line, a symbol (ie. a rectangle) slides down to cover the stage. I've made the stage responsive to the size of the browser but the symbol stays the same size. I need the symbol fill the browser window in the same way the stage does. Here are the setting for the box.

My kid just got an iPod 5th gen (today from Santa) and it won't power up or charge. The only response is when I connect the USB and press the power button or front button the Battery appears with red line and lightning symbol. No other response at all.

There is no other response at all no matter what I do, including holding both buttons down for extended period. My other kid got one and it works perfectly.....I have interchanged usb cables ports etc. but still no response....I would really appreciate any help.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you have a hardware problem with the iPod. This is because as you said the same cable works with another iPod.

How can I center a symbol on a responsive page created with adobe edge ?

I started working on Adobe Edge Animate for about 1 month now, it's a great tool for a young web designer like me.
Actualy, I'm working on my responsive personal website and I encountered some problems. When I create a new symbol and that I put this one on my main scene, I can't center it (there isn't all the option available for an image for exemple).
( Sorry for my broken english, I'm french )

I built a file with your issue or problem: demo file (attachment).
I found one solution: see pictures. Size and position of the container ("Group") are relatives (%).

Mais définir relativement le conteneur fait aussi l'affaire. Relatif=% et absolu=pixels.

Download cloud symbol not responsive for movies or tv programmes on ios7

The download of movies or tv programmes on my iPad Mini Retina has thrown up a new issue, the cloud symbol with download arrow is not responsive. I can only download video from the cloud by going into the store and selecting purchases, from there all my movies and tv programmes are selectable on the cloud download symbol to start a download, as a work around this solves the problem but is not elegant.
I have hard reset the iPad, signed out and back in to the iTunes Store with no success, any ideas or is this a ios7 'feature'! All my software is up to date. I tried to download videos on my iPhone5 and it works perfectly, the iPad does not.

This may sound a little stupid, have you tried turning on iCloud and test your calendar again.

Hold the Home button and the Power button at the same time until the iPad restarts.
If that won't work, just let the battery completely drain before you plug the iPad into a power source again.
Lastly, you could plug the iPad back in, startup iTunes and do a full restore.

Dynamo Admin response is cut off when get non-ASCII symbol

I use Dynamo Admin to get information of assets. And when I try to print some item in the ContentRepository (item should contain non-ASCII character in the property value) the response is cut off at this character. how to solve this problem?
(as example I have added property with value "€" in BCC)

Hi,
I am not sure there is a solution for that. Basically dyn/admin does not work well with special characters using print-item and add-item. This should be done directly on the database. Dyn/admin is more of a "comfort" tool.
If you are doing this to update your DB dynamically without restarting the instance, you should avoid if you will be using some special characetrs... believe me... we work in french :-)

Ipod touch got wet and froze on the battery symbol. I forced a shut down and wasnt responsive. tried turning it on and it wouldnt. Later on white screen appeared followed by the apple logo

i spilled a pop on my ipod and it froze up. the screen was loced on the battery symbol sign and i forced a shut down. It tunred off and wont turn on. Later a white screen popped up and after the apple logo popped up and dissapeared. I have tried to connect it to my computer and it said that the iphone(itunes read it as such) was in recovery mode. How do I get this thing to work again?

Leave the iPod off and place it in a container with dry rice to absorb moisture. Let it thoroughly dry.
Realistically, the chances of it working correctly again are slim, especially if the pop was sugared.

No response when I click the apple symbol on macbook air

Dear Loner T, thanks a lot or your quick reply - my current version is 10.9.5 and it is a MacBook Air from 2013.
However - in the meantime before your reply - I did do the following and got it working again: latest itunes update which came in just minutes after I posted this problem plus after the update I closed the mac via keynote (keynote and pages were the only programs where the apple symbol did respond) - strange, but now everything runs perfectly again.

Centering a symbol on a responsive stage

First, I am completly aware that many have posted about this...but after a good part of the day...I can not make it work...I am having some real dificulty in centering an object based on viewport.
I am surprised at how much of a challenge this has turned into

1. Isolated out simple functionality
2. Created a stage called 'test' @ 2600x470pxs (targeting HD monitors to tablet)
3. Set Stage to 100 percentage width
4. Added a simple shape called 'test1' > converted it to a symbol
5. Centered on stage
6. Changed Settings as per below
7. Added this into the creationComplete Code Window:
sym.$("test1").css({
   width : '2600px',
   margin : '0 auto',
   position: 'relative'
***THE RESULT: it is fine at 2600 viewport but for 1024 it does not center.

Hw can i get arabic support in oracleAS using jstl: showing '?????' symbols

Hello All,
I am using OracleAS for portal deployment and portlets UI constructed by using jstl.
i have used spring portlet jstl for the jsp pages.
when i am trying to change the language, it is showing '?????' symbols.
I have used correct unicode. i tested in pluto portal server. when i deployed in oracleAS,
for english not a problem. for arabic it is showing as '????'.
i have used this code to get arabic in pluto. same code i used. i am getting error.

i know it is not setting charector encoding.
i tried some other too like:

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

Reversing a symbol from end of timeline?

Hi everyone,
Just recently started using adobe Edge and im loving it!
I have a symbol which i would like to control via swipes left and right. Swiping left will play the symbols timeline forward and then swiping right I want the symbols timeline to play in reverse (so from the end of its timeline backward). So for example the symbol will obviously start from time 0, swiping left would simply play the timeline from 0 onwards, but swiping right i want it to play from the end of its timeline backwards.
I have obviously figured out how to apply swipe actions but I cannot figure out the easiest way to reverse the symbols timeline!

Thanks for the response. I tried the sym.playReverse() and it does play backwards! This is all good BUT in my symbols timeline there is 3 stops. So when I reverse the timeline from the beginning of the timeline the symbol will play in reverse but when it gets to the first stop it will skip a frame and go 1 frame too far back?? Its soo frustrating!
Please has anyone got an idea why this is happening? Its destroying my whole project!

Clear/Open Item Symbol Green Check Mark

I am running report FBL3N, for a clearing account, under clear/open item symbols instead of seeing a red dot or green dot, i see a check a mark. Does anyone knows what this green check mark means, and how can I clear the items?

Right now client has the accounts set-up as Line Item Display ( ALL OF TEH G/L ACCOUNTS), if I check open line item, when I save I get an error, saying there are errors. When I pull the long text to see the message of the error, it tells me,the message below. It apepars I have to create new accounts and then transfer the items to the new account is that true? or is there another way to fix this. I thought that by just checking the open item management option was sufficient.
