Resseting iPad and photos in photo stream!
Friends,
I have to reset my iPad because is desabled.
But I want to know what about the photos that I have uploaded before in My Photo Stream.
will they be saved in iCloud and not to be deleted while resetting. And can I download them again in Camera Roll?
Resetting your iPad will not affect what is stored in iCloud.

This is a difficult question, because "again" and "Camera Roll" don't go together too well. Photos that are in Photo Stream are there independently of Camera Roll.
Camera Roll photos are backed up in your latest backup. If you restore from that backup, you will get Camera Roll photos restored.
But you cannot easily transfer photos from Photo Stream to Camera Roll. Camera Roll just houses the recently taken photos (or videos) from your iPad.

Add the corrected ones to your PS - PS contains only what was added to it - changes made are not applied to the PS - you have to re add the updated photos

I have the 2nd Gen iPad and imported my photos from my computer to my iPad awhile back. Now I'd like to sync it to new MacBook Pro and my albums are not showing up? Anyone know how to fix this?

Just got my iPad and when syncing photos will only sync recent photos taken on iPhone - will not sync any photos from my albums or events despite selecting all events or even when i select specific events or albums.
What is the file name of the video(s) you want to sync?
Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Need help getting frustrated my iPad and iPhone are not streaming pictures
You have a couple of options to get them in your photo stream:
Open the photos one at a time and take a screenshot. This will add a new low resolution copy of the photo to the camera roll, which will then upload to your photo stream;
Email the photos a few at a time to yourself, then save the attached photos to your camera roll. This will add a copy of the photo at full resolution to your camera roll and upload to photo stream;
Use an app like PhotoSync, which will allow you to wirelessly transfer copies of all your old photos to your computer all at once. Then delete these photos from your camera roll and use PhotoSync to transfer them back from your computer to your camera roll. These will be the original resolution and will upload to your photo stream. (You need an app like this because iTunes will not transfer photos back to your camera roll, where they must be in order to add to your photo stream.)
Or, you can add them to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99). The shared stream will appear on your iPad and you can either leave things this way, or save them to the camera roll on your iPad and delete the shared stream. They won't be in your photo stream but they will at least be on your iPad. -
Hi. I am having difficulty deleting photos from icloud - which in turn affects my 3rd generation ipad. Photos were added to icloud from my pc and then automatically added to ipad. I deleted photos from pc (not successful), attempted to reset icloud photo stream on ipad (not successful) and would appreciate any guidance as to how to remove these photos from an ipad that does not give me the option to do so. I have read other responses that lead me to believe it is not possible but hope this is not the case

No. Backing up to iCloud is entirely separate from syncing data with iCloud to your other devices. Backing up to iCoud is entirely optional and turning it off shouldn't effect your iCloud syncing in any way.

IPad and iPhoto for photo collection
Greetings:
I want to use iPhoto on my iPad to download photos from my camera, organize them into events, label the photos and eventually upload the photos into iPhoto on my iMac for further processing and archiving. Is there a 1000 photo limit or has that changed with the new iOS and the updated iPhoto? We want to use the iPad when we go on vacation and expect to take significantly more than a 1000 photos.
Also, can I use iCloud to download photos and then transfer to an iMac and external storage?
I'd like some help with this.
ThanksThere is no syncing between iPhoto for Mac and iPhoto for iOS. The only thing they share is a name.

The solution in my case was to start iPhoto and let it update the library, even thu itunes was set up to sync with Aperture. -

You could try clearing the photo cache.
You could also try a reset of the iPad and see if photos sync after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
IOS 6, factory reset and the missing photos - where are they now?
I installed IOS6 then did a factory reset on my ipad, and afterwards all photos bar the seven in the photostream disappeared. They're still in the device somewhere as they're still taking up space under the 'Usage' section.

While camera roll photos ARE part of the backup, not everything always goes smoothly as you've seen, which is why the recommendation to import photos as soon as possible to your computer.
If you have a recent backup of your iPhone, you can restore and hopefully many of your photos will be on this backup. Any photos or data added to your phone since this last backup are, of course, gone forever.

Your 4th gen iPad does have the necessary software to connect to the AirPort Express but not to administer it. To do the later, you would need to install the AirPort Utility applet.
You said that your iPad can "see" the AirPort's wireless network, but can't connect. What happens exactly when you attempt to do so? Do any of your other wireless devices have any trouble connecting to the Express? Did you configure the Express for a closed network ... that is, not to broadcast its Network Name? -

That's right. If you delete from My Photo Stream or the Shared Streams, the photos will be deleted from iCloud.
Download the photos from the Photo Stream to your PC, if you did not already import them when you imported the Camera Roll photos.
Deleting photos from the Camera Roll is tedious. If you have iPhoto on your iPhone, you can select a range of photos from the camera roll and delete multiple photos at once.
The easiest way to delete all photos in the Camera Roll at once would be to connect the iPhone to a USB port and to download all photos. You should be prompted to delete all imported photos from the device. -

Hi you have basicly 2 Options.
1 -if you Switch One fotostream on all 3 devices of yours which are working on the same apple id -all Fotos you Take with your iPad will be synchronized via icloud to the other 2 decvices ( w-lan and battery depending).
2- If you select foots or a whole album in iPhoto on your air or iMac and choose than puplish --> fotostream --> new or existing event you can key in a friends mail. If this friend has iCloud and iPhoto ( for iMac or MacBook ) and click on the link in the email it will download this fotos in the fotostream section in iPhoto. If he has a iPad, iPhone,... It will do it in the foto app and if he doesn't have a iCloud account at all and you choose "public web site" while publishing he can see your fotostream on a website.
