ReST and Harvard referencing style
Thought I'd as here as LaTeX and ReST are related to programming documentation mostly. I've been using LyX up to now with Sweave to do my work with 'R' and then I got into ReST because of it's self professed more humanly readable nature - I tried to use bibstuff and bib4txt to do citations and bibliographies from my bibtex files. Having a play with it and was wondering, how (if there is a way) can I get it so as, instead of the [citationkey] in the in-text references of my final document it's the harvard style in-text reference of AUTHOR (YEAR) or (AUTHOR, YEAR) in the final document? I've been googling for a few hours but haven't found anything about referencing with ReST other than [citationkey] (with [citationkey]_ being in the source).
Harvard is a List styles. You also have a template named Harvard

Harvard List Style missing from Pages
I am a student. I went to try to create a new document to take notes for my classes this semester and saw that the Harvard list style was missing from the list of styles found on the side bar. I believe this is an issue with iWork 9.3 update. I tried going to iWork on the Cloud to impliment it there, but it was not listed there either. I tried to uninstall and reinstall iWork, but to only have the issue rise again. Is this just missing from the update or am I missing a file?

How do I copy and paste text style for multiple video tracks?

I am creating multiple video tracks with text. I want to easily copy and paste the style, i.e., Font, Color, Size - rather than having to scroll down the giant list of fonts to find the one I want, then change the color, then change the size - each and every time. This is arduous.
I tried copy / paste of one text onto a new video track, but when I type in a different word, it alters the original.
I have 9 tracks of video for 9 different texts that will pop in and out of my video. I would like to be able to copy/paste then just change the text. This would save me a huge amount of time.paulrudophmusic
I know of no way to alphabetized the Adobe Styles that come with the program.
If you had the time and the inclination, you could rename them all to force them to appear alphabetically, but that does not seem all that practical.
But, if your interest is in the Styles that you save and you do not hit the Reset File List, the new Styles will be at the bottom of the list and you can name them so that they appear that alphabetically at the bottom of the whole Styles list. But that does not address the matter of you having to scroll to the bottom of the Styles list.
In some instances, some things that you think that you cannot do in Premiere Elements obvious features, can be done by computer keyboard shortcuts. I check the keyboard shortcuts under the Edit Menu/Keyboard Customization and unfortuately did not find any that would be applicable to this situation.
As for your changes in one text file popping up unwantedly in another text file, that is because you have text files with the same name. Look into creating duplicates (with different file names) in Project Assets at the onset.

I absolutely agree, and none of the alternative methods
people suggested in that thread matched this lost feature for speed
and ease of use.
I've not seen a replacement for these commands in Dreamweaver
8 either (although I've often wished for one). Does anyone know of
a hidden feature that exists in version 8 for removing all the HTML
formatting in one fell swoop?I count 4 steps.
1. Copy the entire line
2. Paste into notepad
3. Copy the entire line
4. Paste into DW
That does it nicely no matter how much presentational markup
there is.

Can I copy and apply title style edits? Or save them to favorites?
I'm doing a slideshow in iMove and I have a lot of titles. Is there a way to copy and paste a style or save an altered title to a favorites list? I've started with one of the stock title styles but altered the font, kerning, leading, color, transparancy, etc... But I don't want to do this every time for every title. Can I copy and paste the "graphic style" like I can with photos in iWeb?
I am not aware of a way to do this with copy/paste. Copy and paste in iMovie allows you to copy video adjustments or sound adjustments to other clips.
One way to help accomplish what you are looking to do would be to create your title slides in a new project called title templates. When you start a new project, you can right-click (control-click) on the project name in the project source list, and select Duplicate. Now you have a new project ready to go with your title already in it.
Similarly, you could take your existing project with the title you like. Duplicate the project. Then delete everything except the title. This could be your template. -

How can I copy and paste border style in the new Number? In the previous version, I'm able to do this by allowing border selection, now I can't.
Do you mean copy and paste style? Can I just only copy and paste the border style of a cell?

Could we copy and paste class styles in Reflow like layer styles in Photoshop?
I don't know if it's in there or not, but it wasn't mentioned in the tutorials, but I think this would be really useful, if possible. We are trying to use Reflow as a means of designing our assets once in a psd and then creating the responsive layouts to our development team. This way we won't have to spell out font sizes, colors, etc. or take time saving each individual graphic asset. Everyone will be happy!

You can "copy visual styles" and "paste visual styles" between elements in Reflow, which makes it easy to make multiple elements use the same CSS. However, there isn't currently a way to actually share the same CSS rule between elements so that you can change it in one place and have the new CSS apply in all instances.

I will have to learn web services first
oreilly has some books on the subjects. guess i will go for the most popular ones.
But the difference between (rest, soap) webservices and standard reports and forms i could not find. Will post when I find something.

my password is no longer working.. I did NOT change it. I requested that it be re-rest and it would email me the steps to re-set. I've done this several times... I dont get the email w/ instructions.. Ive checked spam folder also.. please help
You can send iTunes an email about your password and they can reset it on their end and email you the temp password. When they reset the password they usually make it something generic like Apple06.11

If they don't get back to you, you can also call AppleCare: 1-800-275-2273 and see if they are able to reset.

I am trying to find placed inline rules and apply object styles through javascript. Because we need some baseline shift to those rules. I getting some error while find the rules. FInd the syntax below,

I have tried the script after removing "s" in it. Now i am getting error like "object doesn't support the property or method 'appliedObjectStyle'". Please look into this and help me out. Herewith i attached the 'error' dialog snapshot.

hi i was using safari one day and my ipod randomly shut off it will now not turn back on i tried hard resting and everything else when i plug the ipod into a charger it gets really hot in the left corner and itunes did not recognize any help will be apreciated thank you
Try placing the iPodin recovery mode and then try to restore the iPod via iTunes on your computer. For recovery mode see:
