Restart BPM from SXMB_MONI

Hi Experts,
Can you please let me know if it is possible to use a step inside a BPM to force the BPM (based on a certain condition) to land up in the specific error status that will allow you to restart it inside SXMB_MONI?

Accessing Transformation Step Input in a BPM from SXMB_MONI

Hi,
Environment : PI - SPS 09
I am trying to access the Inbound Payload of my Transformation step of BPM. I am able to navigate to the "MESSAGESIN" container , but, when I try to access the same, I get the message "Nested Table can be accessed from the Context Menu".
I have perviously been able to access the payload from MONI as shown in Michal's blog <a href="/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/16/xi-how-to-test-your-mapping-in-real-life-scenarios">How to test your mapping (in real life scenarios)</a> , but the navigation window and display seem to have changed from PI SP 9. Any idea as to what I am missing here and how I can view the payload?

Issue resolved.
Double Click on the step type,Right Click on the "Message" Button in the Display Work Item Window --> Container --> and then you can access the payload as shown in Michal's blog.

Restarting synchronous messages from sxmb_moni

Please could anyone confirm if it is possible to restart synchronous messages from sxmb_moni.If in case the synchronous message is in error in moni,can it be restarted.

Unable to send Asynchronus message to BPM from ABAP Object in ECC 700

Friends,I am trying to send a aysnchronus to BPM from ECC. I have done the following:
Implemented Note 1043195
Scheduled the SAP_SOAP_RUNTIME_MANAGEMENT Jobs
Created consumer proxy/logical port
Tried to send message to BOM using proxy classes.
Issue 1 :
I can see the messages in SXMB_MONI with status "Released for Processing(WS)" But the status never changes.
Issue 2 :
I can See Failed messages in SOAMANAGER with Error as below.
"A SOAP Runtime Core Exception occurred in method WSRM_CONV_FROM_STR_FORM_TO_TS of class CL_SOAP_WSRM_CRE_SEQU_RESP_NEW at position id 1 with internal error id 1009 and error text SRT: Wrong usage of SOAP Runtime classes: ("WSRM: Input value ->P0Y0M3DT0H0M0.000Sis an incorrect value") (fault location is 1 )."
Can anyone help me how to solve the two issue's.

Message reprocess from SXMB_MONI

Hi Friends,
We had a scenario like file sender to JDBC receiver and in Message mapping we read the file name and from file name we will take the country code with substring and map to target field.
Now the problem is: when message failed at PI, we are not able to restart the same from SXMB_MONI and also not able to reprocess from RTW because if we process from RTW, we will not get file name at runtime which fails at Mapping.
So please let me know how to reprocess the failed message from SXMB_MONI or some another options if have.

How to delete the messages from SXMB_MONI which are already cancelled .

Hi All,
The messages were earlier in System error(Red flag) state so i cancelled it manually.
I want to know how to delete the messages from sxmb_moni which are already cancelled manually using ctrl+f8.
if not possible , then i want to see them in earlier state i.e.., in System error(Red flag).
can any tell me the procedure of doing it.

--> Define interfaces for archiving and retention period.
and to RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES in se38 , i don't have authorizations to run

I think just for deleting the jobs you can do this only
Scheduling Delete Jobs
To schedule delete jobs, proceed as follows:
       1.      In the Integration Engine -
> Administration menu, choose Schedule Delete Jobs.
       2.      Select the job(s) to be scheduled.
       3.      Specify the start time and date.
       4.      Specify the period you want to use and choose Schedule.
For an overview of all jobs, choose Jobs.

Call sync BPM from Async BPM - issue

Hi,
Outline: I'm trying to call a synchronous BPM from an asynchronous BPM in a PI 7.0 SP 14 system.
When doing so i get the following error: Object CL_SWF_XI_MSG_BROKER method SEND_SYNCHRON cannot be executed.
Now this is an oldie when searching the forums for this error message. I do however fail to see a solution to the problem.
Note that the following notes (referred to in similar posts)
- 710445
- 718734
- 830803
are implemented since theese refer to older versions of PI.
My scenario is very simple at present since i've startet from scratch again after getting the error. So what i do is:
1) send async message to async BPM
2) async BPM receives request
3) async bpm transform request til sync_request.
4) async BPM calls synchronous BPM
5) sync BPM receives request and opens a async/sync bridge
6) sync BPM maps request to response
7) sync BPM sends response and closes async/sync bridge
8) async BPM reveices sync_response
9) async BPM sends sync_response to some application
Now step 8 i never succesfully executed. Instead the error earlier described is triggered.
For simplicity i use 1 and only 1 message type in all message interfaces. I have mapping between my synchronous interfaces outside of BPM.
The synchronus BPM is executed just fine. The only issue is getting the reponse back to the asynchronous BPM.
I am familiar with the following similar posts:
- Object CL_SWF_XI_MSG_BROKER method SEND_SYNCHRON cannot be executed
- Problem in posting the data in the syncronous mode
but find them to be of no use.

Capturing Application Error log from SXMB_Moni

Hi,
I wanted to capture the error information from Application error log from ECC sxmb_moni and forward that as email alert.
We have already alert configuration in place with alert category using standard variables. Was wondering if I have to capture application error log from sxmb_moni what would be steps involved. Please let me know if anybody has worked on this and appreciate your help on this.

Hi Selvam,
As the exception is raised in ECC system, alert cannot be trigger, alert will get trigger when there is a error in PI system. To raise a email, write additional code in ECC to trigger the e-mail with proper error content

Calling one BPM from another BPM.

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to call an existing(working!) BPM from another BPM. Its a synchronus call. However in moni I see it as errored out on the outbound side. The error in the PE is:
CL_SWF_XI_MSG_BROKER method SEND_SYNCHRON cannot be executed.
I checked the following thread(Re: Object CL_SWF_XI_MSG_BROKER method SEND_SYNCHRON cannot be executed), but those notes are already applied. Any idea, what could be the problem?

I have a doubt regarding transformations. In some of my transformations, I'm adding/stripping soap envelopes using XSL. For these messages, I'm only concerned about my target structure. Since there is not graphical mapping, I've assigned the same(target) structure to the source. The source message, I was assuming will not be validated(against the source structure) and thus will not throw an error. Could this be the problem, if so, what is the solution?

Starting BPM from Adobe PDF?

Hi everyone,
we want to implement a BPM scenario, which will be started by a WS call from an Adobe PDF file. Following is our development procedure:
1. Create a wsdl file, which has only input parameter. (asynchronous call).
2. Create a bpm with a start event, whose trigger is the wsdl file from step 1.
3. Deploy the bpm and configure all the service groups. Test the bpm and find out it can be started with a webservice call.
4. Create an xdp file using the wsdl file from ce as data connection. (this wsdl file is not from step 1, but the one with endpoint configuration from ce)
5. create pdf file from xdp and call the bpm, but failed.
Our questions are:
1. is it possible to start a bpm from a pdf form using ws?
2. if 1 is true, how can we do that?

Hi Xiang,
One more information, currently "Starting BPM From Online Adobe is supported". You have to invoke the WSDL as you do for any other online application like webdynpro.
But invoking from Adobe makes sense only if it is done via offiline form (sent through mail). For this functionality you have to wait till release of 7.3.

Soa Suite won't do it out-of-the-box, you'll need an OCR software to process the file...
I can not suggest commercial products, just google "fax ocr software" and you will get plenty of results...
If you add "web services integration" or "soa integration" to your seach you may see the products with soa capabilities... Easier to integrate with BPEL...

Add error description from sxmb_moni in alerts in 7.1

Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to add short description from sxmb_moni i.e. from ABAP stack in alert.
I already have check many blogs and marketplace but could not find this.
As per the link Creating Alert Categories - Process Integration Monitoring - SAP Library we can extract this info from adapter engine using SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT but how to achieve this for I.E.
Please let me know if this is possible in any other way around.
Hope my requirement is clear, i just want the description from moni for the failed message in my alerts.

We can use following container variables to populate the text inside the alert message
These are more than enough for debugging the message in MONI.
However if you want to add the payload information in the alert message, then u need to use the function module SALERT_CREATE
You can call this function module inside message mapping using RFC look up or via UDF.
