Restart, reset, backup not possible

I upgraded from lion to mountain lion online this week. Itunes and safari crashed since then several times. I then used the harddrive aid prog. to repair seemingly existing acces problems. Crashd again. Now nothings working anymore. If i start, either the logo and a panic (caller) message show up, or a blinking folder with a question mark or the screen, or it just stays annoyingly blank (which usually is the case).. Appearently i tried to backup from a externa (with osx lion on it from before upgrading) but backup only started once and then looped time to about 5y 230d remaining install time at 73.3%. I restartet, now nothing happens no more. If i even get to the point that it shows me to select either to do backup, reinstalllion etc( one out of 20itmes) it does not find the interna mac Hdrive to do the backup... Or other stuff. In All other cases it endless- circles with restarting the system automatically, or again, blank.
Short keys to reinstall from store won't work, nor restarting with or without the externa, nor did threatening the keyboard or screaming at the logo...
Any ideas what it might be?

Is it so difficult to let things, that are quite good, just there where they are??
After updating my iTunes, OS Lion and some other stuff 2 days ago, I have now a big problem with a smart Playlist in iTunes 10.6. Before updating all things was right.
The problem: Now, AFTER UPDATE, my Playlist ist totally empty!
Before they were over 2000 songs in it.
And because this is my major-smart-Playlist, which is established to my whole other Smart-Playlists, the other ones are also empty.
And this is not the first time Apple.
It´s good, if you - apple guys - just added something like new categories to sort of music (like "iCloud-Status" or some others).
BUT WHAT DID YOU THINK, WHEN YOU DELETED THE OPTION "VALUATION" - mh??? (I hope in english this is the word that used in Itunes - my iTunes is in German)
So I don´t mean the "lines" - I don´t know the right english word - when you see the music. There you can fade in "Album-Valuation" - new - AND "Valuation" - old.
But I mean in the options of the smart-playlists - THERE ARE ONLY "Album-Valuation"!!!!! What the heck....
EVERYONE NEEDS THE NORMAL Song-"Valuation" - and not the album (because normaly you decide by each track how good he is and not by the whole album).
You can let the Album ones in it, BUT PLEASE BRING THE NORMAL ONE BACK.
So, in my case, I tried to go back to iTunes 10.5.3 with my nice Time-Machine-Backup. So, but I couldn´t because there came a bug-message that said something like "It is not possible because OSX need the Programm".
What is that?
I also couldn´t delete the iTunes app from my app-folder.
So, and now?
I had to totally restore my volume !
What is that for a solution?!
So please think before you delete any functions, who is needed by many people.
And if you did, maybe ask some users, that uses for example smart-playlists alot, if there is a problem about some changes, you want to add.
I hope anyone from Apple read this and also answer me. Because I´m upset about that.
In every iTunes-Update I am concerned about what will be after the update.
For example in the past, there was more than one changes in iTunes with the Valuation. First, there was just whole stars to set for every song. Than, after a long time, Apple decided to give the options for also half stars. So I said to myself - hey that´s great, that I don´t have to use external apps anymore to set these. So I did this to many of my songs (and that´s many).
Than - after an Update - wow, all half stars rating are gone ! Great Apple, really great.
I was VERY upset.
So after an other update, the opportunity to give half stars are back.
I thought, my god, it is so difficult to talk with other guys, that worked before on iTunes if I am new or just to look if there was already a change in that part of the app???
So, apple guys, please don´t think that I want to attack you. But please be more carefull in the future. I hope that I don´t have to worry too much about so stuff. I really have better things to do with my time.

Time Machine Backup not possible (normal external Hard drive)

Hi,
has anyone else had the problem that after the Lion upgrade its not possible to even really access your external time machine?
i have a 1TB Samsung HD103SI Media and when it tries to boot up it wont show in finder, i can see it in the disk drive utility and try to repair it but it only gets me an error saying i have to reformat that drive?
i hope this can somehow be fixed otherwise all my backups are gone

Mistake 5000 Backup not possible

When I sync my IPad 2 it appears a message: Backup was not possible because the computer couldn't save the Backup. The problem started when I updated Itunes to Version 10.5 and when I tried to update my IPad 2 to IOS 5.0. I had to stop the update and now I don't dare to do it in case I would lose all my APPs and other data on the IPad.

Is my HD dying?

Restoring backup not possible

Restoring of my backup did not work because Itunes states that the computer doesnt have the autority.
I followed the following steps:
1. Autorizing my Imac again.
2. Take away the authority and try to autorize again.
3. updated Itunes
4. restart mac
5. step 1 and 2 again
6. Go to folder /users/shared/SC Info
7. removing folder
8. step 4 again
9. step 1 and 2 again.
But still no luck. My iphone is partially restored, but not completly. I never had problems before. What can it be?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

RNR. Backup not possible

Hello
I have a problem to finish any backup with RNR 4.52.0005. My laptop has two hard drives:
- first: ssd, three partitions: system(C), lenovo recovery(G), some data(D)
- second. hdd, one partition - data(E)
I'm trying to backup only first drive with all partitions. Some time ago backup went to the end and the I got the message: Backup did not completed successfully. Last week I tried to reinstall RNR, and after that I cannot finish any backup: In the middle of backuping It's return backup was cancelled window.
I always do backup to an external USB drive(H). Can anyone help me? Please check last part of rr.log file:

Profile does not activated (it shows an error backup is not possible)

here i changed one parameter by RZ10 in DEFAULT profile and i saved it then it prompts for Activate or not i said yes but the profile is not activated and it shows an error that is backup is not possible

Hi,
Make sure that there is proper access for this file at the OS level. Normally, when you are changing any profile at SAP level it will try to create a backup of existing file at OS level. Also, check if the parameter is set correctly and saved properly.
If you are not able to change the file at SAP from RZ10 then change the same at OS level and after that restart the instance for parameter to take effect. After the system is restarted then again the load the profiles back in to the system using RZ10-->Utilities->Import profile->of active servers

After performing "reset factory state" (with HP Recovery Manager) I noticed the malfunction IE9 32bit.
Moreover, the absence of other software preinstalled (missing: Hp Hp setup-documentation-IE9 64bit).
When I tried a new reset, HP Recovery Manager to the voice system recovery (factory state) tells me:

Using Recovery DVD (in excellent condition),you receive the following error message:

The same happens with the F11 key during startup. Reset error.
The System Restore Microsoft does not resolve.
In Windows everything else seems to work and the hardware of the notebook has no problems.
The original dvd player has been replaced with a compatible; reads all the disks supported.
Only install MSE (I use only portable software).
There are no viruses or other malaware.
I performed procedures in hp support but nothing has changed.

I have no more 'answer because my computer had crashed complete.

If discs created the first time the PC will not work. I suppose that does not solve the problem discs hp (I also read about a problem like mine. This problem has not been resolved with the media bought by HP).
I shot weeks the web and I finally found the appropriate procedure.
I made several attempts to solve the problem. But now I have succeeded.
1- Show Hidden Files \ protected
2- Enter with a program (es: file commander) in recovery partition and copy the file or files base.wim. My is about 18 Gb, 1 file.
3- We need a second PC and dvd
4- Follow a procedure described by internauta 37.

I have an iPad mini that will not respond and is non functional. It continues to intermittently try to automatically restart, access home page without success. It will not accept normal charge. While a database mirroring session is active, the mirror database is in a recovering state and it is not accessible. Thus as Ashwin’s post, backup and restore of the mirror database is not allowed. In addition, you need to note the following things:
•Backup of the principal database is allowed, but BACKUP LOG WITH NORECOVERY is not allowed.
•Restoring the principal database is not allowed.

System Error u0096 Restart is Not Possible!

Hi guys,
I have a sync scenario that calls an http service. When the http service is not available (down) the message in the monitor has a sys error status and the restart is not possible. With an identical scenario, but async, the status is also system error but Manual Restart is possible.
My question is: this is a typical behavior for sync http scenarios? I would like to be able to restart this message, is it possible?

Thanks for your quick response.
Im using these sync calls under a BPM and I found a way to reprocess this messages in system error. So, in Message Monitor open the PE and over the task in error (ex. send step) open the work item and go to EDIT menu, in EDIT menu press change and you will see on the left side Services for Administration and something like reprocess after error, press the execute button and the sync calls is restarted.
I believe without BPM is not possible restart sync calls, but with BPM it is

System error and restart not possible

Hi
I have developed the Proxy to SOAP scenario and it used to work normally as designed, But suddenly it started giving the System error and restart not possible,
I see the following error in the Runtime work bench on the Receiver CC
SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
Can anyone let me know what the error is

If this channel was in working state earlier, then this error would mean that the receiver webserver hosting the webservice has some problem. You may contact the receiver system for checking out if they have problem at their end and if they agree resend the messages and it should pass through.
It may be problem with certificates even.

System Error- Restart Not Possible

I have Synchronous scenario.
I am trying to handle system error in BPM. so if system error comes i m cancelling process.
So in sxmb_moni, my scenario is successful as it is not getting stuck into queue.
But it is giving me error as "System Error - restart not possible" .
But I need to resend / restart this message again.
So can u please guide me for same

When your WS id down you are handling the esception in your BPM perfectly....what more you can do is in the exception branch throw an alert to the support team from SAP saying that the processing for a particluar IDOC failed as there was an error while connecting to the end system......in this case you can ask them to restart this particular process once the WS is up....
One option wil also be to increase the default retry attempts of AE while connecting to the end system....affects performance....maximum retry attempts is 10 (if i am not wrong).....so if your WS comes up during this time you can send the message......
We have a similar case wherein same logic has been applied in BPM...which asks the support team to restart the process if the process fails due to a communication error with the end system.

why am I getting these errors..

What was the status of your server (XI/ PI and the receiving application) at the time of processing of these messages? Also check if the payload was sent with all the required information.
