Restarting system unintalls Flash Player
This one is new to me!
Flash Player installs and runs properly, until I restart my system. After that, whenever I try to view Flash content, it prompts me to install Flash Player.
The FP add on is enabled in IE9, but if the system has been restarted, FP content will not display and instead presents the icon to install it.
If my system is not shut down but put into sleep mode, it will restart with FP functional; if it is restarted, FP needs to be reinstalled.
Steps taken:
1. Used the Adobe uninstaller to purg all instances of FP before installation.
2. Checked add ons in IE9 to verify that Shockwave Flash Object is enabled.
3. Verified Active X filtering settings.
System: Windows 7 Home Premium.
Browser: IE9.
Other Adobe products installed: Adobe EndScript Toolkit CSS, Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, Adobe Premier Elements9, Adobe Reader X.

Merely clicking the Preview icon in the Dock doesn't cause it to open anything, unless you had one or more windows open the last time it quit.

How come adobe flash player does not work on my macbook air

Flash Player keeps failing in safari
I am using mac OS X Yosemite.
For some unknown reason flash keeps failing in safari, but works in chrome. I can't seem to resolve this issue, This is what I tried so far from answers I received in the apple support forums:

We have also run diagnostics on my mac but could not resolve this and eventually I was told the only thing left to do is seek support from adobe.

<home directory>/Library/Caches/Adobe/Flash\ Player
now I can't find any of that stuff but I did find two files called com.macromedia.Flash Player.plugin.sb
in the library sub folders. should I delete them? -

Flash Player fails to load on start-up
I recently upgraded to Flash Player 11.2.202.235 for my Win 7 64 bit system and have had nothing but problems since. I can install Flash Player and it works fine, until I shut down or restart my system. Once the system restarts, it is as if Flash Player is not loading. I am using IE 9 and AOL 9.6 as web browsers and am getting the same result in both. I down loaded google chrome with the flash player to see if that would make a difference, no luck. When I look for flash player, it is in my registered programs and I have a folder for it as well. I have done the following things: tried downloading with anti-virus on and off, firewall on and off, pop-up-blocker on and off, downloaded through IE9 and through AOL, unistalled and reinstalled, Active X Filtering On and Off. Nothing seems to work, if I restart the computer, Flash Player is not recognized by any program...even Abobe. I have tried the troubleshooting forums, no luck there either. Anyone have any ideas or encountered a similar problem?

You can check the version under Apple Menu > System Preferences > Flash Player. Did you quit and restart Safari after the install?
