Hello
I had lost all my notes from the NOTES application from my Ipad2.
I daily synchronized all datas with my Imac that is synchronised with TimeCapsule.
I am a new mac user since a week.
Can someone give me all steps to find them back?

This appears to be a bug of the Notes widget. I wish it would save the contents of the Notes widget. Instead, I end up using the Stickies program in the Applications folder. That is more reliable for those sorts of notes.
If you lost them over an upgrade, I don't know how that might be fixed as I never found a place that those notes are stored.

Actually there is another way to install apps ad-hock that i was not aware of (this does not require the devices to be attatched to the Mac with the SDK and project, it can use any computer or distribute via your LAN:

I know exactly how you feel. After getting fed up with ATT, I ordered a wireless phone and service from Verizon. I tracked the package and Fed-Ex claimed to have attempted to make delivery attempts 3 times, but that's impossible since I was home 2 of the three times and I never heard a knock or saw anyone from Fed-Ex. I contacted Verizon 3 times telling them about this and they also promised a follow up and I haven't heard from them either.
I'm now 2 weeks into the billing cycle. (Yeah, they are still charging me for service I'm not being provided!) I'm being e-mailed a notice that my statement will be available for viewing and still no phone.
Their phone response is terrible, they never call back and just forget about chatting with them on the web. Everytime it's clear they are in the wrong, their system or customer service rep *magically* "has issues connecting" and you are advised to "please, wait, while we transfer your conversation to another representative".
The wait time on that transfer, it seems, is LONGER than the original wait time, which is already an hour. I don't have an hour to stare at a chatbox waiting for some one.
It seems to me, that Verizon has become very self-important. Back when cable was the only game in town, the cable company always screwed with you when they had to send some one to fix something. It's nice to know that Verizon has decided that they would rather join the ranks of the companies known to not care about their customers concerns instead of showing that there is a better way. It's really crummy that Verizon has gone this route, but it is still nice to know how important my business and their reputation is to them.
As bad as their competitors were, they, at least, had the decency to deliver my phone and charge me after I was actually able to use it. So far, Verizon has proven to be worse. I truly hope I'm wrong and I'm just an isolated incident that will get it fixed. But, I'm wondering am I isolated? Has anyone else had problems with Verizon customer service? Or phone/equipment delivery? Or billing? I just want to know, now. what I've agreed to have 2 years of.

Call verizon billing and tell them you are cancelling the phone and service since you have not received it from Fedex. Verizon requires you to sign for their shipments from Fedex. The carrier then tries three delivery attempts and then sends the package back to verizon.
If you paid by credit card call up and dispute the charge, since your 14 days of previewing has not technically started as to return it within that time frame, just cancel the whole order. Make sure Verizon does not try to bill you .

You could have went into a verizon store and got your phone imediately instead of being shipped.
A lost or stolen phone not signed for by you or authorized person is verizons problem and not yours. You don't owe verizon for service not provided or the phone that was not delivered. Call your bank or credit card company and have them remove the charge. -
Battery not recognised after ram upgrade - Help!
I just attempted a Ram memory upgrade that worked fine, but my battery stopped being recognised.
The battery was fine before, even so - I bought a new one (I tested in a different computer - it worked there) - still doesn`t work.
I decided to put back the old RAM - still no working Battery.
Reseted the SMC and the NVRAM 500 times and nothing changes.
Already have the latest Firmware (Efi and SMC) for quite a long time, can`t reinstall it or downgrade it (due to apple.). Apparently CD firmware restauration not available to my model ( original installation cd don`t work beacuse it is a previous version of firmware?)
What else can I do?
Is there any way to force a firmware installation ?

Note an error free AHT is not definitive.
Check the connections on the MBP and the charger for dirt, debris and discoloration. The pins on the charger are spring loaded and should move freely.

Verizon does not answer customer service issues
I filed a customer service report two months ago, and received a response stating that the issue was indeed a Verizon error, however I have yet to hear a follow-up.
My issue is that the coverage map indicates I should have consistent voice and text service at my home address, however this is not the case. I have to drive more than a mile to make any calls and have my SMS inbox sync.

You are correct! I do show that our coverage map indicate that there should be signal in your area. Since there is not, I have taken the steps to open a trouble ticket with my Network Team to have them investigate this matter. Typically, the turn around time for a trouble ticket is 48-72 hours, so once a solution has been provided for this problem, you will hear back from me personally.
In addition, you should have received a separate email with the ticket number, but if you didn't, the ticket number is XXXXXXX.

I have been attempting to communicate with live support, who assured me that the ticket would be looked into and they would email me the status of the ticket. Another week has passed and still no followup by Verizon.
I can't not have service at my house, and Verizon has been entirely neglectful with handling this issue.

Feature requests: Getting Here Drive to a baseline...
OK, Here Drive works reasonably well and stable with the feature set it has, but it still has a long way to go, just to be close to par with e.g. my Garmin Nuvi 350 bought 7 years ago, or even an old app like Mapopolis for Windows Mobile, also available 5-6 years ago (but now gone broke)... Is it possible to soon get at least get to a baseline that makes it usable also for longer international travel, e.g. going on summer vacation across Europe vs. just being useful for some local travel? This would require:
Search by categories of POIs rather than having to know it by name, e.g. find nearest hotels, gas station or place to eat (restaurants not even available today in the map overlays!) - sorted by distance
Find POIs along the route, e.g. within 2km of route rather than based on current location, again to know when you will pass e.g. the next gas station (super critical when driving on vacation across Europe)
At least 1 via point, so you can plan a stop over and still know your arrival at final destination.
Planning mode for routing by setting both a start and destination rather than all routes calculated must be from current position
Telling whether destination is on left or right side of road
That would bring Here Drive to at least the entry level of the cheapest dedicated navigation systems. Some additional features that would move it a little up the stack ranking includes:
Traffic information displayed and taken into account for route suggested (for a mobile unit with data traffic capability I would actually consider this a base requirement to just be minimally competitive with the cheapest navigation systems)
Speed camera alerts
Multiple via points
Offline planning of full route and save/import of routes
Street names spoken in more languages
Lane assist
Narrowing searches by country, city name or postal code
Voice recognition for some of the basic commands while traveling, e.g. nearest gas station
Finally - would it be possible to get the Danish speech updated? It's horribly incorrect from a grammatical perspective (sometimes bordering embarrassing) and the voice used is also not very good - it's a bit strained and shouting, rather than a calm soothing voice.
I hope some of this can be prioritized - that would allow be to finally get to just ONE device for everything in the car - music, navigating and obviously calling.

Allan HvassFunny - after my testing out of Nokia Drive+ and realizing all the limitations listed compared to an OLD Garmin Nuvi AND no glimmer of hope or response for a month, I actually went out and bought a Nuvi 3490 instead. I'm currently not using my Nokia Drive for any navigation...
I could see myself start using it again if some of the features, incl. traffic information being part of routing decisions making it's way back. But for long haul navigation, everything needs to be there, and still the Nuvi 3490 wins hands down. And since that is now already paid for also with life time updates to maps and traffic info, it now requires a signficantly BETTER navigation app to bring me back.
One thing I would like to see though that will make Nokia my most used daily navigation tool is the Nokia Commute app for Copenhagen area. That apps approach for short haul routine routing is really attractive.
I originally went for the Nokia Lumia series over competing WP8 vendors due to the strong software add-ons with the mapping functionality being a key factor. There's still many other elemeents that just make Nokia a bit better, but the one I thought was the biggest turned out to not be enough, and that has now put aside as I got a better navigation system than any phone can currently offer - thus making the playing field a little bit more level across WP vendors. Nokia needs to work MUCH harder and faster, if they want to differentiate themselves on mapping / navigaiton. Granted there's other areas like photo quality, social apps, build quality, accessories, etc. I would like to put Nokia Music in there as well, but that has never launched in Denmark after 3 years...

So you are not using Photo Stream? If you are, then you can turn on Photo Stream on iCloud on your Mac, and then go to iPhoto or Aperture and the Photo Stream will show under "Web" in the sidebar.
You can also set up your iPhoto or Aperture preferences to automatically import your Photo Stream, so any photos you take with your iPhone camera will upload and import automatically and will show under events, broken into monthly groupings.
Photo Stream does not use any of your iCloud storage.

One other thing concerning your Touch Screen. Have you tried resetting your device (nothing will be lost) to see if that will get your Touch Screen working again: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays see if your Touch Screen is working.

My iphone 3g does not work after updating the software through itunes
Some days ago I made a security copy of my iPhone 3G at iTunes. Today when I conected my iPhone to iTunes I had a message saying I had to update the software of my phone. I accepted and after around 30 minutes of update I got another message saying there had been a problem restarting my phone. The screen of my mobile was showing the iTunes icone and the USB icone and I can't access to the content of it. So I disconnected the mobile from iTunes and connected it again and I got another message saying iTunes has detected a mobile phone in recovering process and it says I have to restaure the iPhone to be able to use it in iTunes. And, by the way, before all this when I connected my phone to iTunes the iTunes recognized the name of my mobile. It doesn't anymore, it just says "iPhone" on the left column.
My question is: Should I restaure the iPhone? Will I be able to recover the security copy I made some days ago? Where can I access that copy?

When restoring the iPhone with iTunes, the iPhone is completely erased first folllowed by the current iOS version being re-installed. After iOS is reinstalled, you are prompted to restore from your iPhone's backup, which is the default selection. The other available selection is to restore as a new iPhone or not from the backup. -
