Restore app icons that still appear in app list

Lenovo TAB S8-50F (16GEB-US-BBY) Android 4.4
I have several apps (third party) that show up in the list of apps in the settings menu. The show up under the SD heading but are no on the SD. They are installed on my computer but I can't figure out how to move them to the opening screens. Very odd. I have tried deleting and reinstalling from Play Store, but they show as downloading and stalling but do not show on the opening screens.
Any ideas how toe get them from the app-settings area to the main screens? Now I have to go to the setting menu each time I want to open them.

I deleted the 4oD app from my iPad but it still appears in the list in Settings. How do I get rid of that? It is causing problems when they issue updates as it apparently thinks I still have it when I don't.

Can any one help me get rid of a deleted app 4oD that still appears in the Settings list. I deleted it from the home screen and Spotlight search confirms it has gone. It is causing problems because I get notified of updates and I cannot get rid of them either. I have tried re-downloading via my MacBook because there isn't a download option from the iPad (App Store clearly think I still have it when I don't) then deleting again but the listing in Settings remains.
It is really irritating me.

Have you tried deleting the App within the Settings menu (rather than from the Home Screen)?
Settings>General>Usage>
From the Apps list, find the App (press "Show all Apps" if the app is not in the immediately shown list), tap on the app you wish to delete, then tap "Delete App"

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try using the search feature for the app. If that doesn't help, restart the device.
How do you know it's definately installed.

Humph... I know I have had these experience myself, but don't remember how I solved it.
What happens if you mark it, and then right-click on the blank gray area (under "places" for example)? Do you then get the "remove from sidebar" option?

How do I get rid of the 3D icon that is appearing on my screen?

There is another post about this but it isn't helpful.
There is an icon with a cube in it that is appearing in the upper left side of my screen. I can't find any way to turn it off. Every time I try to draw a square using the shape tool, it's in 3D. I don't want it to be in 3D, and I never turned this tool on in the first place. It's blocking my ability to get my work done. Can anyone help me figure it out?

Select the Perspective Grid Tool (Shift + P) and click on the X in the widget in the upper left. That will remove the Perspective Grid.

Cancelled PO still appeared in ME28 list.

Hi Experts,
Last time I have several POs that were not released yet.
But a few of POs was cancelled by user.
I was checking the transaction ME28 Release Purchasing Doc list, I found the list of POs is still waiting to be released. Those POs actually was cancelled, so it should not need to be released.
How can I delete the list of cancelled PO from ME28 list?

If you can revoke the release strategy for all the cancelled PO's then they will not be appearing in the list.
For example if your release strategy is based on Value, you can flag off all the PO items as free goods. By doint this the release strategy will be redetermined & the sytem may not find a release startegy.
find a combination for which no release strategy will be deermined & use that ion the cancelled PO's

How do I group a large logic circuit into a single icon that still allows for control of that VI's front panel?

I have a graphical representation of a P&ID made of LED lights that turns green or red depending on if that
process line is open or closed. The coorisponding block diagram is a rather large logic circuit that controls
these LED lights.
My problem is that I want to essentailly block that large piece of code into a "Sub VI" but I still want to use that
code to control THAT VI's front panal. This would allow me to, in the future, make an automated sequence that can
still use this light show without opening another VI's front panal.
If anyone has used Simulink this is the exact same thing as its grouping function...

Are you asking how to control the front panel of one VI from the front panel of one of its subVIs (or another VI)? Is so, check out VI server. VI server functions are found on the Application Control palette. For a short demo, right click on one of your controls and select Create»Reference. You will be switched to the block diagram and have a reference node attached to your cursor. Drop it. Now go to the Application Control palette and select and drop a Property Node. Connect the newly created reference to the Property Node top left terminal. Click the Property Node's Property area and scroll down to the Value property and select it. Right click on the Value and select Change to Write. Wire a value to this input and it will change the value of the control. You now have a method that allows you to change the value of a control from another VI.
Some caveats. This can be slow. It is synchronous, meaning that the function will not return until the front panel has been updated. If you want to do a lot of controls at once, use the VI property Defer Panel Updates to turn updates of the front panel off while you are writing to it. Don't forget to turn it back on. If you can use a terminal or local variable, do not use the Value property.

How do I uninstall an older version that still appears in "Programs and Features"

I have recently updated to Firefox version 3.6.13. In the programs and features applet in my Control Panel, (WIN 7 Ultimate 64bit) version 3.6.10 still shows up as being installed. If I uninstall version 3.6.10, will my current version installation be gone too, as the uninstall wants to do so in the same folder as the newer version?

Yes, uninstalling that version will remove the current Firefox 3.6.13 version. You only have that old entry of that previous version in "Programs and Features" left. It sometimes (?) happens that the updater doesn't remove or update the uninstall keys in the Windows registry. You can remove that orphaned registry key yourself if you are comfortable with editing the registry, otherwise leave it or try a registry cleaner program.

Nano 6th gen unplugged during factory restore, now it won't appear on Source list and I can't access it again!

I need to delet all the songs off my Ipod 6th generation nano. I began a restore to factory settings but my ipod was unplugged. Now the songs are still ON the ipod and the ipod does not register with my computer. It is not available in the device list. I am selling the ipod and it needs to be shipped tomorrow so going in for service is NOT the answer.

Probably too late, but try connecting the Nano to iTunes to your PC in Disk Mode and then restoring it via iTunes again.

HT1277 My previous server address for me still appears in the list of my present address. How can I remove it from my computer?

Every email I send automatically lists my old server email address, so with each email I must change my present email address as well as my CC email address (one is "sender", the other is CC). There must be somewhere in the computer where the old address is still stored. Can anyone help me. It's a bother to have to change the sender and the CC for every email.

If you are running 10.6.8 (this forum) I'd suggest in the Mail menubar at the top, click on the Window item and scroll down and select Previous Recipients.
Locate your old email address and delete it.
I don't know if 10.8 is the same, but you could try it and see. If not post back and I'll get your topic moved to that forum.

Cloaking files / folders still appear in Files List, how hide cloaked files / folders?

Is there anyway to actually hide the folders and files that are set to cloaked within a dreamweaver local site within the files list?

or in any options I have found so far.
I have several projects that fork off of a base project and some files I move to seperate folders within a site to get them out of the way. In Dreamweaver I set these folders and files to Cloaked.
In the files list for the local files these cloaked items are now crossed with a red line but it would be better if I could remove them from displaying in the files list too without actually removing the files from
the hard disk or from the current directories structure.
I have other editors that allow this feature and it is really nice.
I am using DW Creative Cloud version 12, the latest and greatest version. I may go back to my other editors but wanted to try DW as an editor to see how the workflow goes.
Any ideas here or is this a new feature request that needs to be made?

I switched back to the other editors I have been using one is something I purchased from another company they are MUCH MUCH easier to use than dreamweaver for hand coding. I like the idea of having real time or some what real experience with a live version of my site within the editor but dreamweaver is too buggy to use for me in a real world design situation with heavy use of server side code in my case php and mysql. The live view just can't handle it.
For example I have a session based site which defaults to a login page, the live view actually refuses to work for this process and the embeded files are not correctly being displayed in part due to dreamweaver not being able to keep up with real time situations.
I really don't want my information shared all over the place so I wont be submitting a feature request officially for that reason, after skimming through the form and legal info I am dubious my information wont be published all over the net if I give my personal information in the form.
The hiding of cloaked items in the file list is really a basic thing which can be done through notepad ++ , PSPad and the commercial editor I use from JetBrains. I am not really suprised DW does not have this feature as it never did but I was curious about how it has progressed and it seems to be ok for visual layout design but I personally find it very hard to use for heavy duty coding.

Thank you for not only the tip but also especially the research showing that for anybody other that those using Wi-Fi for the first time the network wouldn't disappear. I wanted it to disappear for everyone so.....I finally solved it by resetting the Airport Extreme to the factory settings and starting over from scratch! It worked! Yay!!!!!
So, for everyone that has had this problem (and I've read many of the same complaints in different places on the Internet), you must go into Airport Utility and check the box stating that you want to reset it to the factory settings. Do not do it with a paper clip and the reset button on the box; I tried that first and it did not work. You must reset it via the Airport Utility. Then just start over and you will have the choice to NOT check the box to Enable Guests. If you want to enable guests, just be sure not to use your name or you're back to the same problem. Apple is so great with everything...wouldn't it have been so easy for them to just put this in the manual somewhere????? Thanks for all your help. Hope this helps others!

I can't select it .. I click on it and nothing happens. The only thing I seem to be able to do is a two fingered click which brings up a context menu for the side bar preferences..but unfortunately this icon does not appear in the list.
