Restore deleted video on iphone

Is is possible to restore a deleted video on iphone4?

Though iPhone uses quite a different storage mechanism, still you can recover deleted or lost data (such as text messages, contacts, videos, photos etc) with a third party specific iPhone data recovery software called Dr.Fone. I used it to recover deleted videos from iPhone 4s and it worked.

I've record a video and my friend deleted it, and I really do want it, anyway to get that video back ? (I didn't backup my phone on that day)  I have iPhone 4 16 GB offical unlock and non-jailbroken iOS 5.0.1
    Thanks,

That won't work. You need forensics software/hardware to "try" and recover the video. Such is not cheap.

Well, Ocean brings up a good point. I was assuming videos taken with your camera, he is thinking videos rented or purchased. What kind of videos are you referring to?

How do I retrieve a video from my iphone 4s

There are 2 ways for you to recover deleted videos from iPhone:
Solution 1.Scan and extract iTunes backup to recover videos from iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS
Step 1: Select the device backup to scan
Step 2: Recover deleted iPhone videos
After the scan, the whole backup content are extracted and also displayed. You can check the video which is in .mpeg format in general, and click "Recover" on the top menu to store it on your computer with iPhone Data Recovery.
Solution 2.Directly scan and recover deleted videos from iPhone 4/3GS
Step 1:Connect your iPhone to the computer
Launch the recovery software on your computer, and connect your iPhone to the computer with a digital cable.
Step 2:Enter the DFU mode and scan iPhone
Enter the DFU mode with your iPhone:
    1. Hold your iPhone and click "Start" button.
    2. Pressing "Power" and "Home" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
    3. After 10 seconds, release "Power" button, but keep holding "Home" for another 10 seconds.
When you're told that you've entered the DFU mode, release the "Home" button
Step 3: Preview and recover deleted videos from iPhone
When the scan over, all your data on your iPhone or lost from iPhone are found and listed in organized categories.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup. If your iPhone's backup was updated since the video was captured and the backup has not been updated again since it was deleted from the iPhone, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup. Don't update the backup before doing so.

  • Hw to recover deleted video in iphone 4s

i HAD DELETE ONE VIDEO BY MISTAKELY PLS RECOVER IT. ITS VERY URGENT FOR ME

Generally speaking, you can recover deleted videos form iPhone 4S in 2 different ways:
If you have ever synced before you deleted video, you can scan and extract iTunes backup to recover videos from your iPhone 4S.
If you don't synced, you can directly scan and recover deleted videos from your iPhone 4S. However, you need the help of iPhone recovery tool, otherwise you will not be able to do.
I hope it can help you!

  • How can I retrieve deleted videos from iPhone 5?

I accidently delelted some videos I just took and was wondering is there a way to "undo" or retrieve the videos on the phone?  I didn't get the chance to do an backup after filming the videos so they won't be apart of the backup history.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Don't panic. Pryde2k. Even if you deleted all your important videos from your iPhone 5, there is still a way to recover the deleted videos back. Dr.Fone can help you. You can read this article to learn more:

I accidentally deleted the videos from my iphone, is there a way to restore them?

    Hey there Fadi,
It sounds like you would like to restore your deleted videos to your iPhone. If you had a back up in either iTunes or iCloud you can restore from that back up with the following article:

  • How do i restore deleted videos, how do i restore deleted videos?

I dont know how to restore a video that i have deleted
can any one help me ?

If you had synced your iphone whne the videos were on the iphone, then you may be able to restore from backup and get them back.  Otherwise they are gone.
You should be importing videos taken with the iphone to your compute regularly as you would from any digitial camera.

  • How to properly delete videos from iphone 6 (iOS 8)?

    Hi,
    I'm using iPhone 6, 128 GB, iOS 8.1.2.
I have recently made one observation concerning recording videos on my iphone.
When I record videos, and then subsequently delete them, I can't find them in the photos app. However I notice my hard disk space is still reduced. I have to purchase this software called iMazing, and realized that I have tons of previously "deleted" videos, showing up in one of the DCIM\10x_APPLE folders. Only after deleting the videos from there did my hard disk space return back to normal.
Anyone else has this problem, with videos not actually getting deleted and taking up hard disk space in the phone? Is there a way to prevent this from happening, or are there any mitigating actions (apart from using iMazing)?
    Please advise, thanks in advance.

They put in a trash can for photo and video.
you can find your deleted video in recently deleted under album.
delete from there to ensure permanent delete, otherwise it'll stay for 30 days.
I hate when this happens. Deleted many apps to release space, ah!

  • Can I restore deleted videos?

My battery life tanked on my 5s two days ago rather suddenly, apple genius guy recommended I reset my phone. He did it for me, basically erased everything and restarted the phone.
I have the large subscription to icloud, everything is backed up.
I have all I need from the resync with my phone. Only thing that has gone missing are a few videos.
Am I able to selectively restore the videos or is the only option to wipe my phone and restore everything?
I'm sure hoping there is an option to restore just videos from icloud without having to return my phone to the previous state.
They think the cause of the battery drain was an app I downloaded that set some process in motion in the background the chewed through my battery life, hence the full reset.
    Thanks

Restoring from a backup is either all or none. There is no way to selectively pick what to restore.

  • How do I restore a deleted video on iPhone?

I deleted it accidentally by hitting the trashcan icon within the Photos app. I really want this vido back.
    Thanks.

Restore from backup - if that video was included in the backup.  IF you don't have a backup, then your video is gone.  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766

  • Icloud restore, deleted account, stupid iphone

    Hi,
    Please can someone help me!!!!!
I cracked the screen on my iphone 5 and sent it in to be repaired. Before repairing it I made sure I had backed up on icloud. Then updated the software to whatever was the latest ios7. This is where it gets complicated...
First I rely on icloud and photo stream because my laptop was mistaken for a trampoline by my toddler so I don't have access to iTunes on desktop.
Half way through the update I was told by my phone to connect to iTunes, so I used my exes laptop to access iTunes. Still didn't work so I went through find my iphone and deleted everything from my phone.
Now my phone came back and wouldn't you know it all my photos and everything are lost in cyber Bermuda triangle. I have checked my exes laptop but only shows his last update and nothing to do with mine. Neither his iTunes or my phone has sync turned on by the way.
Now I tried to contact apple via telephone appointment and as I picked the phone up, that was in full working order, the earpiece wont work. I didn't realise it at the time but now I can only use speaker phone to hold a conversation. Have lost all my photos, videos and anything I wanted to keep. Can someone please help me as its not fun wondering who has my stuff and where it is.

    Hi nicola1202,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
If you performed a backup to iCloud before sending the iPhone in for repair, that backup should still be available to restore from. Please read over the following article and perform the steps to make sure the backup is there and then restore from it. You will need to be signed into the same Apple ID for iCloud under Settings > iCloud that initially made the backup to see the most recent backup.
iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud
    https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521
    Restore from an iCloud backup
On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If a newer version of iOS is available, follow the onscreen instructions to download and install it.You must update your device to the latest version of iOS to make sure you can restore from a recent backup of another device, such as a lost or broken device.
Make sure you have a recent backup to restore from.Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, then look at the bottom of the screen for the message Last Backup, followed by the date of the latest backup. For information about backing up manually now, see Back up your iOS device to iCloud. If you don’t see a backup you expected to be there, see the Apple Support article iCloud: Troubleshooting restoring an iCloud backup.
Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap “Erase all content and settings.”
In the Setup Assistant, proceed to “Set up your device,” tap Restore from a Backup, then sign in to iCloud.
Proceed to “Choose backup,” then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud.
    Have a great day,
    Joe

  • How to retrieve a deleted video on iphone

i recorded a video using camera and deleted by accident. Is there any way to retrieve it?

According to Apple, the videos get backed up in iTunes when you do a sync/backup, so connect your phone to iTunes and restore from the latest backup. It's not a good idea to store videoss in the camera roll of your phone.
If you did a backup/sync in iTunes, your data are safely tucked away in a database in your computer but you need another tool to extract and copy back to your iPhone.
Dr.Fone(iPhone 4) can recover lost & deleted data directly from Apple iPhone 4, including photos, videos, contacts, call logs, messages, voice memos(m4a), videos, etc., as well as extract data from iTunes backup file.
