Hi Hasin,
There is no need to create a new account for this use. You can restore a deleted mailbox using the following cmdlets.
1. Please run the cmdlet below to get the detailed information of this disabled user.
Get-MailboxDatabase | Get-MailboxStatistics | Where {$_.DisconnectReason -eq "Disabled"} | fl DisplayName,MailboxGuid,LegacyDN,Database
2. Run the following cmdlet to restore this deleted user's mailbox.
New-MailboxRestoreRequest -SourceStoreMailbox xxx -SourceDatabase xxx -TargetMailbox "xxx" -AllowLegacyDNMismatch

this is my iphone 4  ECID: ******, now restore or update showing error code 1 what can i do now?

    From the article:
Error 1 means that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
1.Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
2.Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
3.Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
4.If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

  • Why won't my iPhone restore from back-up, error message saying latest back up corrupted?

    Hi all
I was updating my iPhone 4Gs software today and came across an issue when the update finished my phone switched off and anyway it came back on and is showing up as black iPhone 5 on my itunes (It's a white iPhone 4S) which I find odd.
Also, I had my iPhone plugged into my mac a while before I updated the software, meaning my phone was fully backed up.
When the phone decided to turn off and turn back on, a restore message came on the screen and I tried to restore from latest back up (which was today) but It didn't let me - an error message came up saying that the latest back up was corrupt
Please can you help me- can I restore my phone from todays back up somehow??
    Thanks in advance

  • Can't restore from iCloud - verification error or stuck on estimating time remaining.

From yesterday 4PM I try to restore my iPhone from iCloud. I check icloud system status - everything is fine there.
    Problem messages:
    * Verification Error
    * Stuck on estimating time
    * Can't connect
I don't know what to do. All websites and services work fine on my 100Mb connection. So I guess this is an iCloud problem.
    iOS 8.1.2/iPhone 4S

This is more of an Apple ID problem than an iCloud problem.  If you choose Restore from iCloud Backup and entered your iCloud ID this obviously shouldn't have happened.  If your replacement phone is under warranty, contact Apple support here: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.  If not, try contacting iTunes store support as they frequently deal with Apple ID problems.  You can reach them by email here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • TS3694 My iPad 2 (16GB, WiFi only) went into recover mode and will not allow restoration from iTunes.  Error message 3014.  Anyone come across this and a possible solution?

Error code 3014 question.  iPad 2 (WiFi only, 16GB) went into recover mode.  I am not able to restore from iTunes.  iPad had the latest software & iMac is latest as well.  iPad has very few applications... < 6GB used prior to this.
    Any help.

Sorry but that was a completely pointless post.

  • "iCloud Restore from Backup" gives error "Incorrect Apple ID or Password"

I have an iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.2) that was just replaced at the Genius Bar today due to some intermittent camera and home button issues.
Everything was normal when starting up the newly exchanged phone that they gave me. It gets through the activation step in the startup process and when I get to the screen to select "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter my Apple ID and password it instantly spits out an alert that says:
    Incorrect Apple ID or Password
    Try another Apple ID
    (  OK  )
I have entered, what I know to be, the correct username and password now 10+ times and it gives me the same message.  I know it's correct because I am able to login to icloud.com, appleid.apple.com, the app store on my iPad normally with the same login credentials and everything works.  But something about the startup screen is not accepting my username and password.  They fishy thing about it is that it doesnt seem to check for the server, it just seems to tell me its incorrect before even taking the time to check whether it's incorrect or not.
Naturally, the next thing I did was a DFU restore of the phone to make sure it wasnt a software issue and that it had the lastest software update.  All the same results.  If I go down the path of "Set up as new iPhone" it activates normally and then I can even log into iCloud normally from inside the OS once I've gotten there.  That, however, does not help me get my backup text messages, photos, apps, app data, etc.
Anyone else having this issue? I never usually have issues with my iPhone/iPad and this one is especially infuriating.
Any help/information would be much appreciated.

    Freddie,
I associated my Apple ID in their system as an Apple Reseller account because I was working for a third-party Apple Authorized Dealer a few months ago.  After that point, this is when I noticed this happened.
Tier 2 of AppleCare told me they believe this is the reason I've been having problems being able to restore because Apple Reseller accounts are not "iCloud Eligible"
I replied and told them it was ok for them to remove my account as reseller status and after multiple attempts to reach the advisor assigned to my case, he stopped responding.
I fear I may be out of luck.  Are you by any chance an Apple reseller or associated with an Apple reseller?

Is there a way I can restore permissions on the home folders for each user in bulk, I really do not want to restore permissions manually per user 1500 times

    Hi Agebrah,
If you set up your iPhone prior to your restore from backup, have iCloud, and had Photo Stream turned on, there is a chance that those photos may be in your Photo Stream. You may find the information in the following article helpful:

  • HT201413 My Iphone 3gs is showing error 28....when i try to restore it, it shows error 28 plz help.... :(

    Somebody plz help...

Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.

  • Can't restore from Time Machine "error occurred adding a recovery system"

    Here's the situation:
MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard was upgraded to Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
A Time Machine backup exists (on Time Capsule) from the day before the upgrade.
I am trying to restore the Time Machine backup to a blank hard drive connected to the MacBook via FIrewire, but after rebooting with Command-R and selecting the backup source and HD destination I keep getting this (unhelpful) messages:
"An error occured while adding a recovery system to the destination disk" and "the recovery system could not be added"
Is what I am attempting impossible, or is there something else going on? What use is Time Machine if I can't restore?

    Hi FranzKafka
I know it has been a while since your question, but the issue is possibly dependent on the blank HD, h=was it changed from the GUID partitioning?  If so change back and you will find the Time Machine will restore back... without having to reinstall OSX. As you say, all of the original settings are captuered within TM.

  • Restore from time machine error 'not enough space'

I'm trying to restore my HD from Time Machine and in the Select A Destination' window the HD is listed but I cannot select it.  At the bottom there is an error message of "This disk does not have enough space to restore your system".   Let me say the backup came from this same computer.  I thinking I may have to reformat the HD and then restore.   Any helpful advice?

    Hi Lostin24
I have got exactly the same problem so my Macbook is waiting since I found no solution for this strange issue.
I will be thankful for any help if its already solved with you

    Leaving the password field blank
    Your Apple ID password
Your computer account password, if you have one
Email passwords you may have used
    Your Wi-Fi network password
Website passwords you may have used
A password for hard-disk encryption software, if you use it

  • Trying to update to IOS8 stuck on restoring firmware, then showed error code

Tried updating my phone, and it kept getting stuck when it was "restoring firmware", now I cannot get my phone to even function.

Solved an issue like this on my iPhone 6 on Verizon by, get this, removing the SIM card, plugging the phone with its red iTunes death screen into the computer, and performing the "Restore / Restore & Update" now without the SIM, which worked fine and then slipped the SIM back in the phone and started using it.
This sounded too easy to be true and I tried it and it worked. Mine was locking up near the end of the restore every time while doing the firmware and I was going to take the phone back into the store when I saw a post stating that worked for someone and I am so grateful I tried it.
    EDIT: Oops, old post. Sorry.
