I have done restore of 10.2.0.3 database. how can I make sure it restored from week ago. is there any system view too check ?

The ten items in the drop down History header continues to show ten sites that I several weeks ago. Any new sites that I have used recently or am currently using do not appear in this list. I have configured the history settings to clear automatically, but those ten old sites persist throughout all current use. How do I get rid of them?

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.<br />
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.<br />
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.<br />

When I load sites such as ESPN it loads the headlines and news from weeks ago. I've cleared my cache, history, cookies, and it did not fix the issue.

When I visit sites such as ESPN where the news and headlines change daily or even hourly for some reason my browser loads the site from a few days ago. I try to refresh the page but that does not fix the problem. I have cleared all history, cache, etc... that did not work. I added a ? to the end of the URL and that loaded a different page but still not the current new head lines. It's almost like it is stuck with the info from a previous visit.

# Open the url about:permissions
# search for the site in the filter
# click "Forget this site"
# Restart Firefox
# Open the site and see if the headlines change :-)

Duplicate messages from weeks ago

Ever since upgrading to Leopard last month, Mail has been retrieving messages from one of my accounts that date back to weeks previous, which have already been retrieved. Every day I receive 5-20 "new messages" which I have already read. I saw this issue come up in a recent thread, but no one seems to have a solution. Any ideas?

am not sure which threads you refer to, but the first thing i would suggest is for you to check the settings of your email account if it is pop, that is the settings with your email provider - are you set to download every email, or are you set to download from "today" forward, or only the emails not downloaded...

Then I send it to the suppler where purchased this phone they told me there is no way to fix this unless I give them the Id and password .know I don’t know where I can go because in my Location nobody know how to fix this problem.
At less I don’t know what I can do to fix this problem because I use this phone for my work and All my data and phone number in side this phone
Notes :- I have all the document ( invoice and box for this phone )which say that I phone for me .
I hope to get any answer from your good site other whys this phone will be useless for me

If you can't remember your apple id or password then sadly that phone has been bricked, without that infomation te activation lock cannot be removed by apple or anyone else.

If you apps are still in iTunes, you should be able to sync them back to your computer. Otherwise, if you have iOS 5 (5.01) on your phone you could redownload them by launching Apps, press the Purchased button at the bottom, press Purchased at the top, then Not On This Phone. This will list your apps and allow you to redownload them. If you've purchased apps using multiple Apple IDs, you will have to sign in to each of these IDs to be able to download all your apps (by going to Settings>Store>tap on the Apple ID, sign out, sign back in using another ID).

Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this?

When you synced the iPad today, you overwrote the backup fromlast week. If you would have turned off auto sunc and simply restored from the backup without syncing, you would have bee fine.
In certain situations - such as when you only sync once a week, iTunes creates a new backup for that sync that overwrites the last backup. If it has been a week since you last synced, iTunes reads the latest data on the iPad since the last backup and then creates a new up to date backup.

You can't install 9.2.1 or earlier on any Mac that is only Mac OS X bootable. In fact you need to use the restore disks which came with those Macs to install 9.2.2 on those Macs. 8.6 is only possible to install on Macs which came with 8.6 or earlier. The 9.1 disk may be useful for your 1999 PowerMac G4, but won't be of any use for a 2006 Powerbook G4.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps, like resetting you iPhone, for example? Or restoring it?
If not by all means do so because your problem could be caused by software glitches that could be solved resetting or restoring.
Warranty is for one year from date of purchase and two years if you bought Apple Care at the time of purchase. If your iPhone has a hardware issue within warranty, it would be replaced by Apple. If it is already out of warranty, you might be eligible for an out of warranty replacement where you pay a much lower amount but this varies according to the country and currency, so it is better to check with Apple or with an authorized reseller.

Can anyone help me?
I started a restore from iCloud 3 weeks ago. It is still restoring now! I've read that your geographical location from wheree you started the restore, and your Wifi speed can all alter the speed of the restore, but 3 weeks is seeming a long time! Obviously in the meantime I cannot back up anything to iCloud, and I am going on holiday soon and want to do this before I go. Any tips please?

Where can i find my backup from a week ago

i resontly plugged in my iphone and it automaticly synced over my previos backup, is there a way i can get my packup from a week ago, i know once they sync it wipes out the one from before but is there a way i can get one of my old ones back

Yes, usually the new backup will override the old. However, you may check to see if you have more than one backup.
First go to iTunes menu EDIT > PREFERENCES > DEVICES tab, do you see your backup there with Date and Time?
If you can find an older backup with information that you want(From Date and Time), connect your Device to Computer. Select your iPhone or iPod under "Devices" on the left Pane. Right click it to bring up the menu and select Restore from backup....
