Restore gmail password saved in cookies

By mistake I deleted the cookies of my mozilla browser. In the cookies was saves very important password for gmail. Is it possible to restore the cookies and the password?
Thank you in advance.

Firefox 32 and later builds store the passwords in the logins.json file in the profile folder and no longer use the signons.sqlite file that has been used before (the matching key3.db file is still needed).
If you still have the signons.sqlite file used in previous Firefox versions then you can try to force Firefox to migrate passwords saved in this file (you will lose passwords saved in logins.json by Firefox 32+ versions).
You can force Firefox to reimport the passwords from the signons.sqlite file and rebuild the logins.json file with these steps:
* reset the <b>signon.importedFromSqlite</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page to the default value via the right-click context menu
* delete the <b>logins.json</b> file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed
When you restart Firefox then you should have the signon.importedFromSqlite pref with the value set to true and you should have the passwords imported in the Password Manager unless there may have been errors.
You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location/address bar.
You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • Gmail password retrieval

    Hello..
For whatever reason, my MacPro "lost" my gmail password.  My other 2 apple platforms: iPhone 4S and iPad 2 still remembers it...but it is of course, encoded and I cannot read it.
Problem is, I cannot recall my password as my son set up my gmail on all of my Apple products  and he is unavailable.
I checked Google but nothing re: Lion can be found.
Has my MacPro saved my gmail password anywhere?
Gmail asks so many questions to reset my password...the only answer I know for sure is my maiden name.  But that is not sufficient to reset my password.
    Please help! Thanks

Does she remember the email she used? If she does she can reset. If you forgot your Apple ID password
If she forgets apple ID, she can also use this. https://iforgot.apple.com/appleid
Make sure to check your spam folder in your email as well. Also check your Rescue email for account retrieval as well Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses
If those fail, contact Apple Support Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security

On your Mac, try to access your gmail account. There should be a link you click for "Forgot My Password". Click it and try to retrieve your password.

  • I do not want my password saved to one of my accounts. How do I removed the save feature from only that password?

    '''bold text'''

You can use the search bar in the Password Manager window to search for that site.<br />
Then you can highlight that entry and press the Delete key or click the Remove button.<br />
Be sure not to click "Remove All"
    Remove saved Password(s):
    * Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
The next time that you visit that site then you can click the arrow next to "Remember Password" and select "Never Remember" from the drop down list.

  • Calendar will not sync with Google calendar. Won't accept my Gmail password.

    iPhone 5s 16GB (2.9 GB free), iOS 8.1.3
When I attempt to enter an event in Calendar, I get a message "Password Incorrect.  Enter the password for the Gmail account "Gmail'".
But when I try to enter my Gmail password, the app won't accept it and the same message appears.  And entries don't show up on my Google calendar..
I tried turning off calendars in iCloud but that didn't help.  Also turned off all calendars
This is not an operating system issue - keeps happening through several iOS updates.

Correction: Turned off all calendars in calendar app other than Google calendar for my Gmail account.

  • Restoring Keychain Passwords When Reinstalling OS

I have keychain passwords enabled across all my devices - iMac running Mavericks, and iPad and iPhone running ios7. I chose not to set up a security code as I did not want my passwords stored in the Cloud.
My question is: if I need to completely reinstall my OS, or choose to do a clean install of a future update to OS such as Yosemite, how do I restore my keychain passwords without a security code?

Thanks for your response, PJRS, but if I were to do a clean install of, say, Yosemite I would almost certainly choose not to migrate my users from a TM backup.  I would prefer to reinstall all my software from scratch and only restore data files from Time Machine (most are held on an external disk anyway).  Could I still restore Keychain passwords from Time Machine in this instance (and if so where would I find them)?

  • IOS 8.3 and Invalid Gmail passwords

Greetings!  Ever since I updated my Ipad with IOS 8.3 my Gmail passwords are not working.  This is on my IPAD Air.  My Note 2 and Windows 8.1 laptop are working fine using the same passwords.  This has been going on since this morning.
There is obviously a problem. Is there a solution?

That may have something to do with iOS 8.3 support for Google (gmail) 2 factor authentication. I've heard some have successfully "fixed" it by restarting the device. If that doesn't resolve it, try deleting and adding back your gmail account.

  • I accidentally deleted the passwords saved in safari preferences

I accidentally deleted the passwords saved in my safari preferences and I cannot remember them to manually input them in again. They were for my email and facebook and dropbox. How can i recover these passwords that were saved on safari preferences since I accidentally removed it? Please help! Thanks!

Open Keychain Access located in your Applications > Utilities folder.
    Select Passwords on the left.
Type Facebook in the search field on the right then right or control click the Facebook keychain then click: Get Inf then select the Attributes tab.
    Click Show Password:
You may be prompted for your admin password to proceed.
Do the same for your email and dropbox accounts.

  • Strange AJAX Response:  "Invalid username or password or expired cookie..."

Dear helpful ApEx users and gurus,
Has anyone ever seen this response to an ApEx AJAX request before?
Invalid username or password or expired cookie, please login again. If so, would you please tell me why it occurs, when it occurs, and how I can get around it? (or maybe just how I can get around it)
I've searched for exactly this text using Google ("Invalid username or password or expired cookie, please login again."), but the only result which matches is what appears to be a Russian-language ApEx forum, which I can't quite decipher using Google Translate.
    Extra Information:
My page has a button which, when clicked, makes an AJAX call to two on-demand processes. The second of the two on-demand processes is the same exact process which I've already called in my jQuery $(document).ready() code, which works fine every time the page loads.
Everything about the second AJAX call is the same as the on-load AJAX call: the session, the page, the on-demand process name, etc.. The only thing that's different is the response: "Invalid username or password or expired cookie, please login again."
Moreover, when I first created this page and its code, clicking the button made these two AJAX calls with no such strange "Invalid username..." response. I started getting this strange response a couple days after I'd initially coded the page (or I didn't notice until a couple days later; perhaps it started happening that night or the next day).
    apex.oracle.com:
If my question can't be answered (or you don't want to even look at it) unless it's on apex.oracle.com, please let me know, and I'll put an example up there. I feel like it'll take me a few hours to get it set up and that it'll just work with no issues on apex.oracle.com, so I was hoping someone had seen the "Invalid username or password or expired cookie, please login again" message before and knew what to do to mitigate it.
It will be very frustrating if I get it set up on apex.oracle.com, and it works with no issues (as I expect it will).
Thank you for your time! :)

I figured it out. I had an AJAX call on page-load which was completely unrelated to the AJAX calls which were having issues afterward, and in the culprit AJAX call, I was not including the session ID (e.g., "+ $v('pInstance')"), like so:
      $.ajax({
        url: "/iatx/f?p=" + $v('pFlowId') + ":DROPDOWN_MENUS:" + $v('pInstance')
      })
