Restore iphone restore in-apps

I was wondering if I backup my iphone then restore it will I still have all the data and the in-apps. Or do I have to purchase the in-apps again?

Okay, duh...I realized that I should never have tried to use my iPod Touch to restore my iPhone. They are like apples and oranges. I was the first person the Sprint Rep had ever activated an iPhone for so she accidentally lead me astray and neither of us realized how iCloud worked. I had an epiphany and I stopped restoring the iPhone and now all my contacts and everything are still there but the apps I want are downloading. Yay!
