Restore lost notes on iPhone for free??

I accidentally deleted one of my "notes" on my iPhone 5 and need to restore it. I dont' backup to iTunes but I do sync to iCloud hourly. A retrieval service wants me to download and pay $99 for this retrieval but I have to believe iCloud would have a free way for me to get a file that was just backedup a few hours ago!! Right?? How can I do this for free??

Do you have a backup on your computer? If so just get a backup extractor program like iScavange (which is free).
I'm not sure what you mean by hourly; iCloud sync is continuous in real time. Unless you mean you back up to iCloud hourly (which sounds unlikely).
You cannot get a single datum from the iCloud backup, but you can restore the most recent backup. It will overwrite everything on your phone, however.
Note that a retrieval service cannot get a item out of iCloud either; they would take your money and you would get nothing.

Do not show dots for 'free' events in the calendar month view

I wish I could.... not show dots for 'free' events in the calendar month view. For an overview of when I have hard-scheduled events in the calendar it's pretty tedious and slow to go day -by day, and other views... Instead the dot in the month view... - why does it show even "free" events? Any ideas, tips?

Take it in to Apple as only they can decide. If they decide it is a defect covered under the warranty, they will replace it. If they determine it was caused by something you've done or an accident, then you will have to pay for an out of warranty replacement. However, Apple will have to make that call, so take it so they can evaluate it.

My iphone 4 is under warranty and one of the buttons on the side to lower the volume doesn't work, it's just stiff and therefore i can not press it, my iphone speakers doesn't work either, whenever I put it on loud speaker no sound can be picked up and no one can hear me, even whenever I make videos, the sound is never picked up, my iphone front screen colour has also changed as well, when I originally got it from t-mobile it was white but now it is yellow and looks dirty I'm hoping that they can replace it for me BUT there is one problem, on the front screen of the iphone I have 2 slight cracks and the back has came off (don't ask how or why but somehow it just became loose and came off lol O_o) because the iphone back was loose and came of, it is now completely cracked

Not for free. Physical damage voids the warranty. There is no way you can replace the part without Apple knowing the phone has been opened, which voids the warranty.
An out of warranty replacement is US$149 for an iPhone 4. Just pony up the $$ and deal with it.

I needed to recover my iPhone, iMac, etc. I am back in business, but when resyncing my iPhone, I deleted Brothers In Arms and now it is gone (I deleted it off phone and my reload of iTunes does not know about it). Can I re-download it for free or am I out $9.99?

Thats OK, you don't need the receipt. When you download an application again with the same iTunes Store account its free.

Will Apple replace my iPhone for free?

So, last November I bought an new, 32GB Black iPhone 4S at a local Verizon Wireless store. Tonight, I noticed that the sleep/wake/power/lock button would not press down and was not responsive. I have come to the conclusion that I somehow jammed it into the phone.
Since there is no Apple Store nearby, I plan on taking it into a Verizon Wireless store tomorrow. What do you think they will tell me? Will they replace it for free, or open it up to fix it themselves? I have not jailbroken the device, so my warrenty is clear.

Virgin Mobile unlocks iPhones for free?

I currently have an HTC phone on Virgin Mobile, which has given me pretty good service for the monthly rate. I want to upgrade to the iPhone 5s and continue to use Virgin Mobile since it has given me such good service. However, I will be moving out of state next year and am worried that Virgin Mobile will not provide good service there, so just in case I want to be able to switch my iPhone to a different carrier. Virgin Mobile says they will unlock iPhones purchased from them for free (https://community.virginmobile.com.au/t5/Phones-knowledge-base/How-do-I-unlock-m y-Apple-iPhone/ta-p/80), but after doing some research, apparently it is really hard to switch carriers on a Virgin Mobile unlocked iPhone since they use CDMA. Sorry, I am not a techie, so am really unfamiliar to all of this. Will someone explain what that means, and if I would be able to potentially switch carriers?

Several confusing pieces of information here.
First, the link to Virgin Mobile in the first post is for Virgin Mobile Australia. They will unlock their phones if you ask them.
Virgin Mobile USA is a different company (in a different country) and does NOT unlock phones.
Second, the iPhone sold on Virgin Mobile USA does have a SIMM card slot, even though VM network is CDMA. These iPhones are hybrids and have radio circuitry that supports both CDMA (Verizon, Sprint, VM USA), as well as GSM (T-Mobile, AT&T in US, as well as the rest of the world). When activated on Virgin Mobile, phone uses CDMA and the SIMM card is inactive (as well as the circuitry supporting it). However, when you put an active SIMM card (for example, T-Mobile's), the phone should be able connect to a GSM network. The problem is, this doesn't work because the SIMM slot is locked and doesn't allow SIMM cards from other carriers.
Virgin Mobile iPhones are somewhat different from other American carriers, and it appears that there is no unlocking solution for these. I have searched the web thoroughly and haven't been able to find anyone who would be able to unlock an iPhone sold by Virgin Mobile USA, so that it can be used with a SIMM card of another mobile carrier (domestic or foreign). For iPhones on Verizon, unlocking isn't even necessary; they are CDMA phones, which means that the CDMA circuitry can only be activated on Verizon (therefore no Sprint or Virgin Mobile), but the SIMM slot is unlocked and can be used with any global carrier. With AT&T and T-Mobile, unlocking is required, since the two are GSM operators which use SIMM cards, so the phone is locked to the carrier. Unlocking can be done, in some cases (if you've been a customer long enough) even by the carrier itself, and there are third-party unlocking services out there. Unfortunately, Virgin is the only one where this, for some reason, cannot be done.
