Restore password for IPAD

restore password for IPAD
Как восстановить пароль для IPAD, если его забыл?

I hope that you can translate.
You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.
Instructions can be found here.

You may have to use recovery mode if that didn't work.

  • How to find my restore password for ipad

Hi, hoping someone can help with a small situation, my son while apparently showing off what the ipad can do with a few friends managed to reset the thing. wont lull you to sleep whit his seemingly sensible at the time reasoning, suffice to say I now have two choices reload a years worth of information manually or restore from a previous back-up. my last save was at the begining of august and since then have had to use the good old command R trick,(another by junior still gotta love the kid ) so my password was saved on a now deleted hard drive and was hoping to somehow bypass or redo the pass word to save a little time. is it possible or am I on a seek and find through my app library?

is it an itunes encrypted backup password?  if so see this
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5162
or is a passcode lock? do this
    recovery mode
    open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not iOS device
    turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone.  do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.

forgot privacy password for ipad how do i unblock it

If you mean you forgot your four digit passcode, you will have to restore by attaching to iTunes on a computer via the recovery mode, instructions are in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

  • Lost my password for iPad?

Lost my password for iPad. Should I reset?

If you mean that you've forgotten the passcode to unlock the iPad then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

You may have to do this several times.
Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Possible to have password for iPad mail?

My teen age grandchildren like to play games on my new iPad. Can I have a password for my mail? I'd rather not share my mail messages with anyone who uses my WONDERFUL iPad. Thanks in advance.

    Hello folks.
I realise I'm a little late here, but anyone visiting this thread could benefit from this.
I have the same issue as all of you with my email.
So I found this app, which lets you have multi-user accounts, each with passcode protection. It's called Mailboxes:

  • Apple id password for Ipad phone, laptop

    Hello
I want to use same password ID for phone Ipad laptop can you do it?

Yes. Using the same Apple ID for everything you do is usually the preferred approach as long as all of the devices are owned by the same person. There is only one password per Apple ID.

  • Restriction password for Ipad

My brother give me his IPad and he did not remember setting a restriction password.  We reset the IPad to his original settings, everything is good, except the restriction password.

Did you restore the iPad as a new device, without using a backup of any sort? Or did you restore from a backup?

  • I forgot my password for Ipad mini....how to reset it ?

How to reset passcode / password of my Ipad mini....I forgot it.

You don't reset it, you either restore from a backup made before you implemented the password, or you restore as a new device.

  • Able to restore password on iPad but account still disabled on iPhone

I'm trying to restore my password until recently i can reset my password and access to icloud.com normally.  but i still can't update my iOS with pervasive alert 'your account id is disabled'.  If my account is truly disabled why i can access my icloud?  I follow all instructions to reset the password but i still can't access my phone's itune store.  Strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By 'following all instructions' you've also logged out of your account on your iPhone since resetting your password ? If not then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log out and then log back in and see if it then works.

  • I forgot my wifi network password for iPad 2. Where do I find it? Can't seem to find it in user guide.

Anyone know where I can find how to lookup my wifi network password in the user guide? I set it up so long ago I forgot it.

I assume that you mean in your WiFi router user manual, because you won't find that information in the iPad manual user guide.
See if this is of some help.
