Restore the components as they were before in a Migration (SAP BPC) - DOC

Hello,
I am going to do a Migration from Outlooksoft 5.0 SP2 to a SAP BPC 5.1 SP6 in a productive instance (Cluster system) with 2 front-end & 2 back-ends and I wan to know if someone knows is there a way to do a good backup incase it turns out to be a failure in the migration, I want to have a restore document incase.
Does someone has this document. Does SAP has this document to restore the components as they were before?
Best regards...
Pablo Mortera.

HI Pablo,
Actually you are not performing a migration you are performing an upgrade.
You have to do backup of your appset.
You have to upgrade just one application server and to shut down the second and to see if it is working find everything after the upgrade.
If it is not then you have tu uninstall this server and to install again the old version 5.0.
Restore the appset and you will have again the system up and running with old version.
Regards
Sorin
