Restore the view so I can drag div widths across columns.
I am working in DW CC and on a fluid grid layout. When I first started building the page, I had the view options where I could drag the width of the div to change the number of columns the div would span. I was also able to hit the "up" button and was able to push that div up to the line above it. Say, for creating horizontal navigation.
Now I don't know how to make these view options return. Could someone please help me? I want to be able to drag the wdith of my divs again. Thanks for your help!
Thank you for your prompt response Nancy. I am not sure if I have changed the boilerplate file. I guess I could have changed something by accident, but I know I did not intentionally change anything. Also, I do not have a FluidGrid.css file. Yikes! How do I get that?

I don't have these pages hosted live anywhere yet since I am still building it. Would it help if I posted the code of one of these files?

can you view text outside of the canvas? as when using the view menu you can see animation paths, bounding boxes and handles???
I'm in the middle of a text animation design treatment and unless my memory is completely failing I thought this was an option.
An example would be selecting all layers and being able to see all bounding boxes and animation paths while moving along the timeline.
Of course this could be quite a mess if you couldn't selectively chose which layers, its just with this current project it would be so helpful if
I could see the text beyond the canvas to aid in my animations.

I do understand shift + v " to "Show Full View Area" and shift + z to fill screen, etc.
and command + & - for zooming
what I'd like to do is selectively view, say, the text outside of the canvas as you can see the bounding box
which contains the text or object when selecting one or all layers in the layers column
I haven't used this feature in a while though I do recall using it in the past.
Any help would greatly appreciated

While updating/synching I have an error saying that my phone is in recovery; need to restore the phone before it can be used with Itunes. And the phone is frozen with a graphic of the itunes symbol and a connector. If I restore, I assume I will lose all my data. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to get around this? Thanks.
It should restore from the backup. If you don't have any backup then you will lose data but what you going to do you have no other alternative so go ahead and do it.

What does it mean when my ipad is in Recovery mode? It's connected to my imac for software update and it says I must "restore" the ipad before itunes can be used. Will I lose everything on my ipad?
Unless you have a backup from which you can restore, yes you will lose all of your data and settings.
You should be able to sync your content back to the iPad if you have been syncing with iTunes all along. If you don't sync with iTunes, you can download much of your paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID. This explains downloading past purchases.

Unfortunately, at this point, you must restore the device before you can move on. There is nothing you can do to avoid it now. -
My Ipod disabled when i'm trying to restore that, its showing as "an error is occurred can't restore the ipod". How can i resolve this problem
Are you sure that that was the complete wording of the error message? Usually an error number or other information is also included.

I choose to restore from a safety backup in iTunes. It works ok, but iTunes is still asking to restore the iPhone. Why can't I get to syncronise the phone?

There's no way to "restore" your phone, but, you can login to iCloud.com, using your computer, locate your phone, then erase it.

I have tried holding down the home and power button countless of times. It doesnt respond at all. Plug my phone to a charger and hold down the power button and my phone switched on. But it said Activation Required and said connect to Itunes. As e screen remains on the connect to Itunes screen, I disconnect the charger from my phone and my phone went dead instantly. My battery is full btw. Tried connecting to Itunes through my Macbook Pro but iTunes doesnt detect my device and the apple logo flashes for about a few seconds on my phone and then disappear and then came back on again. My Iphone has been connected to my laptop for about 30 mins and the apple logo has been coming on and off for 30 minutes now and Itunes has not detect my device yet.

Am trying to sync my 3gs to itunes,keeps coming up with a notice saying! iphone in recovery mode. Must restore the iphone before it can be used with itunes.

Where, exactly did you get this phone? If it's already in a state where it says it must be restored, you don't have a choice. If the phone was hacked, it will be re-locked to the network it was originally locked to. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can legitimately authorize unlocking the phone. -

I was updating my phone in itunes and the "update went wrong" and now the phone is not recognized by itunes. I unattatched the phone and it wont turn on or off, just shows a picture of the itunes symbol and a usb cord. In itunes it says that it is an unknown iphone and is in recovery mode so I need to restore the phone. If I restore the phone I loose all my pictures, which I dont want to do...and my contacts. Are you able to receive any mail at all? If not, make sure that all of your information for mail is accurate in settings again. if you still have nothing, go to your email through safari. (example: www.yahoo.com) If you do not see the emails here either, it is a problem with the password reset server not your mail app.

Precautions on the MagSafe2 adapter: Laptop can drag to floor.
I have several Mac laptops using the original MagSafe adapter. On rare occasion someone has tripped on the power transformer or wire and the MagSafe came out of the computer and nothing was harmed. That's because of the higher profile and the straight exit of the cord.
The new MagSafe2 right angle and lower profile configuration can be problematic. Because the original MagSafe projected away from the computer, pulling at most angles caused the LED head to be pulled from the computer. BUT the right angle and smaller profile of the MagSafe2 has posed a problem. Twice this year pulling on the cord has dragged the laptop off the table crashing to the floor.
To remedy this, have used Glue to loop the wire back to the charging piece so that in effect it becomes like the original MagSafe. This way pulling in most directions allows release of the charging piece from the laptop, whereas otherwise the computer whould have been dragged across the table and possibly to the floor. An alternative would be to decrease the magnetic attraction so that a gentle unexpected tug on the MagSafe2 disengages the head from the laptop.

Now you post how it doesn't come out and can take the system off whatever it is sitting on if the cord is snagged.
IMHO both of these problems are USER FAULTS and has nothing to do with the Magnetic connection between the adapter and the notebook. But hey I may be wrong. I have been in the past.
EDIT:
Oh and the angled adapter has been out for a few years now.
Suggestion:
Don't place the power cord in an area that it can get snagged by someone walking by.
