Restored phone after it fell in toilet but the screen is black. What can I do now?

My phone fell in the toilet and I was told to try restoring it to see if it might still work. I restored it and itunes recognized it. The problem is I cant see anything on the screen it is black and vibrates out of no where. What should I do now?

You wait a few days, possible a couple weeks for it to completely dry out before trying to use it, which you should have done in the first place.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.

If the basics (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new) don't work, you'll need to bring the phone to Apple for evaluation

If you have attempted the reset, which is holding the home button and sleep/wake button, was it still connected to the computer? Have you tried to do that when not connected. You stated it never came on, how long did you hold the buttons together? If you cannot get it to connect to iTunes then you would not be able to restore the device. You can see if you can put the device into Recovery Mode by following the instructions in this support document. If that does not work, then you are correct, make an appointment at the Apple Store. After my Macbook goes into sleep mode it sometimes won't wake. The keypad lights up but the screen stays black. This problem has only occured after updating to OSX 10.7.2.
All I can do is switch off and restart. Then any programs I have not 'quit' all open.

OK, I have a fix.
After spending about an hour online with Apple Care without success, I did a reinstall of the Lion OS. It fixed the problem. I was concerned that I would lose data or settings, but the reinstall was seemless and everything was the way it was before the reinstall except that the "black screen on wake" problem was fixed.
I started the reinstall before I went to bed and it was waiting for me the next morning.

Restore as a NEW device. Don't use backup at all. Your backup may have corrupt data causing the issue.

Let the computer/iTunes download it. That is how Apple has it set up. When you restore via iTunes the IOS is reinstalled on the iPod. Thus, it needs to be on the computer.

It kept going and going, so I tried holding down the lock button to turn it off but screen was still black/turned off. Hitting home did nothing. My friend said to try holding down the lock button and home button together to reset it. I tried this and yet nothing happened. I am waiting for the battery to drain out and give it a try.

To reset, you have to press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears - takes 10-15 seconds.

Try and do a hard reset first to see if it may resolve the issue.
Go to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 and choose the reset information.
Failing that, it might be that the display panel may be damaged or not functional.
If this is the case it is best to bring it to an Apple Retail Store Genius Bar to get it inspected/serviced.
Alternatively you can bring the device to an Apple authourised service providers.

i put it in silent mode and i found my calls comes normaly and it works good but when i turn on ring mode it's back as it how can i fix that ?!

Basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device. Try each of these steps until your problem is solved. It's happened to me before as well. Try holding both lock(top right) and home buttons simultaneously until u see a slight flash of wight then just reboot it normally. If that doesn't work try restoring your device from itunes
