I restored my iPod touch 4G to get iOS 5, I want to restore it to my setting's I had before, so I selected "restore from iTunes backup" on the ipod. "connect to iTunes" on the new set up screen on the ipod. But I already restored it to my previous settings from iTunes. I have tried connecting it and re-syncing it. I am completely lost on what to do. It won't let me do anything! Help?

Try close all apps in multi-task window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen

Hook it up to your computer and open itunes. try to download hte apps via your computer. Every time you update hte software you have to reagree to the itunes terms of service. Sometimes it's hard to get it to come up on the device, but is easier on a computer.

I have had my IPAD2 for quite a while but haven't activated my cellular data for about a year. I am now trying to activate and when I go to cellular data, turn it on and try to tap view account i just get a message that says "connection to server lost". I could swear the last time I used cellular data you would see the signal in the upper left corner and I only see "no service" there, I am in a location where I know I should have service. Is there something I should do to my IPAD? I tried resetting, I tried clearing cookies and history in Safari (after reading a post n these discussions). I don't know what to do next. My IOS version is 6.1.3. I did go into Network from the general tab and I see it says "SIM not provisioned". HELP and Thank you in advance.

It sounds like the cellular data will not activate for some reason on the iPad.
I found this article that will help you resolve this issue here, named iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular Models): Troubleshooting a cellular data connection, found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4249
Check for a carrier settings update.
Update your iPad.
Toggle the Cellular Data setting off and on under Settings > Cellular Data.
Restart your iPad.
Tap Settings > General > About. Locate the Carrier entry and make sure that your carrier is correct.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try turning it off: Tap Settings > Cellular Data > SIM PIN.
Make sure you're in an area of good coverage. If the cellular data connection works in another area, contact your carrier to report the original affected area.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Restore the iPad as new.
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store, contact your carrier, or contact AppleCare to troubleshoot further.
I know you may have done one or two of the steps here, so you can skip those.

How do I get my iPad off of "Disabled"? It is telling me to connect to iTunes but not sure how when it won't let me do anything on my iPad?
When you connect to iTunes do you see the iPad in the sidebar and if you click on your iPad name do you see the summary tab on the right? If you do, click on the Restore button.
If you see the iTunes logo and the USB cable on the iPad screen, you are in recovery mode. Read this for more information.

I bought a new iMac today. I'm using migration assistant to move all my software, but the time just keeps getting longer. It says connect an Ethernet cable for faster data transfer. I did, but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

I downloaded ios 5 after backing up my ipad on the computer. Now there are no apps or movies on my ipad. They are on the computer in itunes but sync and restore do not put them back on the ipad. ideas?
iOS 7 devices need iTunes 11.1 or newer to sync. Depending upon your computer and the OS it is running, you may not be able to upgrade to iTunes 11.1 based on the requirements for iTunes 11.1. When I try to download applications such as Internet Explorer, Yugma, and iTunes in Firefox, I just get a window that says "save" or "cancel", but never one that says "run" so I don't think it's actually installing anything. It shows up in a "download" window, then the icon shows up on my desktop. When I click on it to launch it, it says "open with" and I get the same "save/cancel" window. It's a continuous circle. What am I doing wrong??

Because of how integrated it is with windows IE should work. If it's not working, something more widespread could be wrong with your computer that would also prevent other browsers from working properly. Of course we'd love you to stick with Firefox, but you should get help with IE, too. -

Deauthorizing iTunes on a computer? My laptop won't let me connect my iPhone because it says I'm authorized on too many computers, but when I try to de-authorize another computer I use it won't let me. What's up?
What do you mean it won't let you? What exactly does it say? (Sorry to sound so exasperated but this is like the 6th post in a row where people have made vague statements which do little to help us find solutions without a game of 20 questions.) I'm going to guess and say you can only deauthorize a computer to which you have physical access or VPN login. The alternative is to deauthorize all which you can only do once a year.
