Restoring a recorded data in app by asking professional company

I need your help to restore all my recorded data in the free iPhone app "Quick Voice".
I deleted it along with the app when I synchronized it with iTunes.
(I realized later that if you synchronize with more than one iTunes, the app is deleted.)
Although I later re-installed the app, all the previous data was all gone.
The recorded data was deleted on August 7th 2009.
I heard that back-up files still remain in the PC at the time of synchronizing,
and tried to recover them, but couldn't because I had defragged the C-drive.
Now I'm thinking of asking professional company "DriveSavers".
http://www.drivesaversdatarecovery.com/devices-supported/apple-iphone-data-recov ery/
(No companies provide the service of restoring iPhone data in Japan)
Is there anyone who knows anything about restoring iPhone data?
Please give me advice about the possibility of restoring.

Having defragged the hard drive is going to make Drive Savers job much, much harder, not sure why you did this before trying to retrieve the files. Are you leaving out the part where you connected to your computer and it backed up your now blank iPhone, thus overwriting the previous backup?
Also, have you contacted the makers of Quick Voice to determine if the recorded data is even included in the backup?
I assume these files are very valuable because using Drive Savers to recover them is going to be quite expensive.

Talk to the Sunday Times.  I cannot imagine why you have this problem unless you are approaching or have hit the renewal date.  Try here ...

Whose account id shows in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores if it's on iOS 6) ? If it's yours then tap on it and log out of it, and your husband can then log in with his account

What exactly are you seeing on the phone's screen ? If the iTunes icon and cable then the phone is in recovery mode, in which case it's too late to take a new backup or to copy any content off the phone - you will have to connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and reset it back to factory defaults, after which you can restore to the last backup that you took or just resync your content to it

Why don't you talk to apple and find out if backup exists? That conversation with apple will stop your guessing.

You find third-party apps in the App Store. What app are you looking for? Due to problems, Apple removed the ability to record that information in Health. You can always go back to whatever you used before three weeks Health was released. Why can you not check and record your blood glucose? I would assume you check it using blood samples and a glucose meter which has nothing to do with your phone. You should be able to record it in any number of apps, from Notes to purpose made third-party apps.

  • Ipad 2 with version 8.1.3;  update to take out bugs etc and now every time I click on an app it asked for my itunes id before I can get it to open;  any help would be appreciated

I did the update to take out bugs etc;  now when I try to open an app, it asks for my Itunes ID before it will open;  this is a pain;  has anyone else had this problem or knows how to correct this,  assistance gratefully appreciated, thanks

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke.  If it has never been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again.  Also, read this.

  • Time Machine restore did not bring over apps because of Mac OS X downgrade?

A client of mine recently took his iMac into the Apple Store to replace a failing hard drive. He brought in his Time Capsule so the techs could restore his data and apps. His old hard drive had been upgraded to Snow Leopard. When he received his iMac back from the shop, only his data was copied back and his non-Apple apps like MS Office were missing. In addition, the Mac OS was downgraded to Leopard (most likely, because that's what was installed on his iMac when he bought his system two years ago).
Before my client took his machine into the Apple Store, I checked the Time Capsule to verify that there were 3rd party applications stored on the hard drive. My question is, did the apps fail to get restored because of the system downgrade from Snow Leopard to Leopard? Also, will upgrading the OS to 10.6 enable these apps to get restored from the Time Capsule using either Migration Assistant or Time Machine?

The first question is, were they full backups? Meaning: had System files been excluded? If so, that could explain (part of) what happened.
When an Apple Store takes in a Mac, they ask what version of OSX it's on, and whether there are backups. If your client is sure he told them Snow Leopard (it should be on the receipt), he should raise holy $*^&#% with the store manager. Politely, of course, but firmly.
Usually what happens is, they go the other way, and install Snow Leopard on a Mac running Leopard; then the user is really confused, trying to use an OS they don't have the disc for (and aren't licensed to use).

It's hard to tell from here. They may have installed Leopard, then used Migration Assistant, but omitted Apps. (Also a mistake).
Also, will upgrading the OS to 10.6 enable these apps to get restored from the Time Capsule using either Migration Assistant or Time Machine?
Assuming that the last backup from before the failure is still on the TC, and nothing significant was excluded, you should be able to simply restore the entire system to the exact condition it was in at the time of any backup you want. See #14 in the Frequently Asked Questions *User Tip,* also at the top of the +Time Machine+ forum.
It is possible, however, that as the internal HD was failing, it corrupted some things in OSX, which were backed-up by Time Machine. So if restoring the last backup doesn't work, you might want to try a previous one.
If significant things, such as System folders, were excluded, you should be able to erase the internal HD, install Snow Leopard, then when the Mac starts up again, use +Setup Assistant+ to transfer everything else. See #19 in the FAQ Tip.

If it is trying to verify your payment info, I would be willing to guess that it is looking for the security code for your credit card. Did you credit card just get replaced lately or the expiration date change? When is the last time that you updated your payment information in iTunes?

  • Why does the App Store asks for wrong password

    Hi,
I'm travelling a lot between the U.S. and Europe, which causes that I have 2 Apple IDs.
So there are some apps I purchased with my US-Apple-ID, and some apps I purchased with my second apple ID.
If I wanted to update my apps from both accounts it first asked my for the password of my 1st Apple ID, then the one of my second.
This worked fine the past two years.
Now it only asks me for one of them, but still wants to update all of my apps. Finally it says that this app has not been purchased before, but I can purchase it know by tapping "ok". (or something like this). I already bought it. why does it ask for the wrong password of the wrong apple id, I didn't purchase it with?
Here are the steps I already tried:
    1. restarting my device
    2. Sign off and sign back in with my ID I purchased it with. -> Then tapping "Update All" OR just "Update" at a specific app stills asks me for the password of the wrong ID. (I did this with the appstore app and the settings app->AppStore)
    3. sign in with the ID I purchased it with, then search for the specific app and hit "update" (where it usually says "buy", or "free" if not installed yet). It still asks me for the wrong apple id.
    4. I'm not syncing my apps with iTunes anymore, just music and my photos. I don't want to sync my apps because I would have to reinstall all my apps again and loose all of it's data.
    5. I still can buy new apps with both accounts and then it's still asking for the right ID, I want to purchase it with (the one I'm currently signed in).
    6. Deleting the app, then sign in with the right ID, search for the ID and redownload the new version worked, but in this case all my app data is lost.
    7. In App Purchases are NOT working, it asks for the right password, but then it's says that I have to buy the app again. ?!?
Do you have any idea, why this happend or why I'm unable to update my own apps?

There is a 15-minute window. After 15 minutes of inactivity, you will again be prompted for the password next time you try to purchase/download something.

  • App Store asks for password to wife's apple id

Had my Iphone 4 replaced at the store yesterday, all restored fine from backup however when I go to update my apps it asks for my wifes password to her id!
My wifes phone is synced on the same pc.
I have checked all settings in the phone and they contain my own apple id details.
Upgraded phone software to 4.3.5 (didn't work before, doesn't work after)
Itunes recognises phone as my own.
    Have restarted phone and itunes.
    No success, help.
    Thanks

If the apps were bought with your wife's Apple ID, then they need to be authorized with her ID for use on your iPhone.

  • HT201269 i bought my iphone 4 about a year ago and just decided to upgrade it to ios5 just recently. My phone restored to to its factory settings and when I clicked continue restore from back up it is now asking a backup password which i dont remember set

i bought my iphone 4 about a year ago and just decided to upgrade it to ios5 just recently. My phone restored to to its factory settings and when I clicked continue restore from back up it is now asking a backup password which i dont remember setting up one. I am currently using a windows vista PC. How can I retrieve the password or restore all my old data into the new OS. I have been reading blogs about the same situation and is it true that it is one of apple's bugs?

It is NOT a bug.  You provided a password.  If you can't remember it, you can't restore your phone from backup.  Very simple.

  • Updated as new installation 613 to 616 iphone 3GS, the 613 backup is nolonger listed, and all data gone. Anyway to restore 613 with data and update keeping data?

I chose new installation instead of update from 613 to 616. The new installation is missing all the data, and app data, notes, etc. The previous backup is nolonger listed, only new one for 616, anyway to restore 613 with data?

A backup was listed for earlier today, I did a backup before new installation. Once new installation, it did an auto backup of new installation, and only this one is listed.
This matches documentation, it says cannot restore to earlier version from itunes. Do I have to do a restore factory settings to see previous version backup, and restore this earlier version?

  • How do i up date my apps? i have 8 updates for apps but its still giving me my old username and wants my old password

How do i up date my apps? i have 8 updates for apps but its still giving me my old username and wants my old password when i go to update. i have restored and everything works except when i go to update the apps. ican access all other info with new username and password. when i go to update the 8 apps that need to update it shows my old username and is askinf for old password.

    - You have to sign into the account that purchased the app in order to update the app.
    - If there are more than one app that needs updating and they were purchased by different accounts you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased with one account.
    - Also, if you changed your password you have to go to Settings>Store and sign out of the account and sign back in with the updated password.
