Restoring back up from TM! Need help!

I just bougth a new hard disc, and i am trying to restore my system from Time Machine, the problem is I only have the setup disc for Mac OS X 10.4.10 Tiger, I can't find my Leopard upgrade. Now I can't figure out how to restore it from my back up. Anyone able to help me with this!!

I have absolutely no idea if it works, since you posted this questionon the Tiger forum and the people who have TM machine experience are those running Leopard or newer, not those of us still running Tiger.

The iPad is telling you it has entered the recovery mode - you need to follow the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 for connecting to a computer running iTunes by way of the recovery mode.

Let's get you snapping those sports moments. Does any other camera mode stay on consistently or do you have to change it everytime. It sounds like it will allow you to take one photo and then it reverts back to normal.

Restore back up from itunes

I backed up my iphone 5 to itunes because I needed to change to another iphone from apple store. I got a new one, I went home and tried to restore my back up using itunes. When I plugged in my phone to itunes it automatically backed up the new phone which was empty and now the lastest back up is of the new phone!!
Is it possible to restore back up of the stuff in my old phone. I can't find in itunes anywhere where my old phone restore was.
HELP!!!!!

I'm restoring my iPhone right now, need help ASAP

So I've had a corrupt file that's been taking up 7GB in my 'other' stuff on my iPhone 5 so I'm finally restoring it right now, but I'm guessing the backup data with have saved whatever that corrupt file is in it.
So 3 questions: • If I don't want to backup now but for some reason decide I want to in a say a day or so what would I do?
• Can I restore my phone from my iCloud backup, if so how?
• After restoring my iPhone will it create new backup data that will wipe over the already existing data with the corrupt file in it or what?
Thanks for any help/advice, I'm in the middle of doing this so need help asap if anyone can help.

2. Yes, if you have a iCloud backup
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
3.Yes on computer it will replace the old backup. (I suggest you manually delete the backup first)
iTunes > Preferences... > Devices > select backup and click the Delete button.

From this Apple Knowledge Base article:
Start up from a Mac OS X Install disc (one whose version is closest to the version of Mac OS X installed). Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C). Or, you can use Startup Manager or the Startup Disk preference pane to select the Install disc.
Choose a language, click the arrow button to continue,
Mac OS X v10.6 or later: Choose Password Reset from the Utilities menu.
Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.4: Choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu.
Mac OS X v10.3: Choose Reset Password from the Installer menu.
Tip: If you don't see this menu or menu choice, you're probably not started from the disc yet.
Note: The default keyboard layout is U.S. English while started from the installation disc. If you use a keyboard layout other than U.S English, use the Input menu (the flag icon on the right side of the menu bar) to select the desired layout before typing a new password.
Select your Mac OS X hard disk volume.
Select the user name of your original administrator account.
Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually the root user. You should not confuse it with a normal administrator account.

Restore back up from iCloud

My old ipod was stolen and have just bought a new one, I can quite clearly see my old ipod in ' manage and storage' but each time I restore from that date of last back up I still don't see my music?!
Can anyone help ? I am desperate to get my music back

It will only restore music purchased from the iTunes store that was on your old iPod when it was last backed up.

MacBook Pro died, can I restore back up from previous OS to New Macbook Pro with Mavericks on it?

My son's (grad student) MacBook Pro's logic board went out two weeks ago. We have a new one coming tommorrow, which has Mavericks.
His back up from the older computer has the previous operating system - is he going to run into any problems restoring his data with the different operating systems?

You shouldn't. That's the reason for having a backup.
The best way is to use Setup Assistant when you get the new Mac. For details read this from the late Apple Support Communities contributor Pondini:

Uploading from iPhone - need help

When I attempt to upload a photo from my iPhone to my Web Gallery, I get the following error message on the iPhone:
"None of your .Mac accounts have been configured for posting from mobile devices. You must first enable this feature on the .Mac website"
Any idea how I "enable this feature" as I can't seem to find it anywhere on my .Mac homepage or account info, etc.

Simple question that my iPhone prompts me to ask: Where do I tell my .Mac account that I want my Web Gallery to work with my iPhone?

I can't restore my iPod from the iCloud- HELP!

I just got a new iTouch because my old one broke. I'm trying to back it up from iCloud but when I select "restore from this backup" and select the name of my old iTouch, I get this error message:
The backup "..." cannot be restored to this iPod because the software on the iPod is too old. To restore this iPod from this backup, you must first set up the iPod as new and restore the software to the latest version.
I set the iPod up as new, but it hasn't offered any software updates and I don't know how to look for updates. Thanks!

What model was the old iPod?
What model was the new iPod?
The new one has to be same or newer model than the old iPod
First just set the iPod up as new.
Then update the iPod by going to Settings>General>Software Update
After upodated go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting. \When done setup by restoring from iCloud backup

Duplicates after back up from ipod? Help!

I lost my pc and itunes files I managed to back up from my ipod using Copytrans which was well worth $20 for my playlists however my albums display as one album but each song is duplicated within the album.
The music files all have a duplicate with a number 1 after them any quick way of deleting these? thanks in advance

You have to enter the Apple ID and password. You are running into the Activation Lock
