i cannot delete the facebook account on my ipad because i dont know the password. how can i restore my own facebook account to my ipad?

If you access facebook the 'old fashioned way', aka via safari then you should be able to manage multiple accounts

How do I change the default Facebook account on my iPad

When I go to post from camera I get asked to enter the password for Facebook but the account it shows is not mine and I can't find where to change it?

Can you just confirm how you usually interact with Facebook? Do you tap an App icon (this will be a white F on a blue background if official Facebook app) on your iPad? If so then this is the Facebook App and not the built-in Facebook iOS integration which is controlled in Settings->Facebook

Photos 'share' change Facebook 'Account'

I have deleted and then changed "Facebook" integrated settings and also restarted the iPad. But !, it's stuck on the same account to 'share' Photos from the iPad's Photos App. How can I change the iPad's Photos App setting for a different Facebook Account ??? o_O , I asume it's nothing to do with my Apple ID

Turns out that a disconnected Facebook account acts differently than an active one. I had to reactivate the old account, log on with the iPad and then the Settings > Facebook > Delete Account actually worked. Then, I changed the Primary email on Facebook and finally, I could start a 'new' Facebook account on the iPad. All is normal now.
Having or not having the Facebook app was not a factor in this.
The Apple support rep also suggested a complete restore-to-new would work but in my case, this wasn't necessary.

IPad help 2 facebook accounts help

Hi. I hope someone can help me on this issue and thanking you in advance.
I had 2 facebooks log ins on my iPad. I have a game on both. I would like to play the game on my 2nd FB account but when I download, it keeps reverting to my original FB account. So I took that FB account off my iPad, took the game off and downloaded the game again. Keeps going back to the first FB account. I tried looking at the cloud, says nothing on there. I have deactivated the first facebook account both on facebook and iPad. Tried downloading on the iPad the Hearts of Vegas game and log on with my new Facebook account. Still receiving the message.
I have noticed that when I go to download the game, it is showing me the cloud. When I go to the cloud, there is nothing there.

IPad restore not restoring email accounts

So I got a my mother a refurbished iPad 3 for Christmas. I wanted to migrate all her settings from her Iphone 4 over to the new iPad. First I tried to do a back up of her phone to iCloud. After that finished, i then tried to restore that backup to her iPad using iCloud at intialization. She has 2 email accounts on the phone 1 Microsoft Exchange acount for work and 1 Yahoo Mail personal account. The initial setup moved the Yahoo one but it was greyed out and said inactive (and I couldn't get it to be active) and the Exchange one didn't move at all. So I tried again and it didn't move any of them.
Then I thought I'd tried doing it the good 'ol fashioned way and use iTunes. So I synced and updated her phone and the set a backup. I then reset her iPad back to factory default, and tried to restore it using the newly created iPhone 4 backup. It popped up a message saying something like, some apps and data could not be copied to the ipad. However it did not specify what. The restore completed and it rebooted the iPad and nothing. No email accounts.
I ended up putting them in manually, after much weeping and gnashing of teeth I managed to get all her server settings and passwords out of her. But what is the deal? Why did it not work? When I setup "my" new iPad Air from my iPhone 4s the iCloud sync option worked flawlessly.

I wish I did have more to offer. Did you read this from the link in the article that takes you to the specific error codes?

I am posting from my iPad so the embedded links in the text that I copied and pasted do not show up as links. My point is that there are further troubleshooting steps referenced when you read the error code article. Did you go all the way through all of the steps suggested in all of the links?

I have purchased from the App store Spotify I have downloaded app Spotify it has requested my face book account I do not have one it also requested IPad ID plus Password which I have given and being rejected I have done this several times without success

Spotify apparently only now uses Facebook for user accounts, so you will have to create a Facebook account to get set up with Spotify.

Assuming you are using the FaceBook app: Settings App > FaceBook > [your name] > Delete Account. Then sign in with your new account.

You actually cannot do anything to your ipad when its locked but look at pictures the time and date, you need to restore it, and if it dosent let you restore, good luck chuck Heres how to restore it: Okay, i only know the itunes way soz, lol. Try to connect your ipad to itunes, if it does let you then you should be able to select the device you have in the corner somewhere, once you do that you should see a screen that looks sort of like your ipads setting, you should have a button that says "Restore" click that and your ipad should be restored. If that dosent work you should try going to your regular office depot or something. Good Luck!
