Restoring In-App Purchases

So um I bought in-app purchases from Surviving High School & was wondering if you could transfer the purchases onto another device & also what would restoring my in-app purchases do ? Would it give me back my money ?

Hi yes it's simply a case of opening the app and hitting Restore Purchases
A dialog box opens with your Apple User ID and you simply enter your password and all you in-app
purchases are restored into the app
Do this with every app and you will have all your in-app purchases

Were these pictures from the camera roll or from photo stream.
When you restore from back up, the process will restore the OS and some initial data, it will then restart and allow you to use your device while the remaining data is downloaded and restored in the background. have you allowed enough time for this to complete.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

Trouble with connecting to an App and restoring In App Purchases

I am having trouble with restoring my in app purchases. I had purchased the full season for crazy night out a while back but when I got the app again after restoring the app the full season wasn't on and it is trying to charge me for it. I had also bought the fantasy date app and the multipacks and unlike crazy night out it recognizes I made the purchase but when I click restore purchases or buy pack it won't download and it says can not connect to server and for me to check my settings and try again also for the ones I do have that were free when I click play or download all videos it says it can't connect to servers and the videos don't play. Is there anything I can do to retrieve these purchases back and get the videos to play.
It's not the Internet everything else works.

ftp doesn't work well in modern network environments, and the design of the protocol itself is basically incompatible with the inclusion of firewalls in modern networks. And it transmits the authentication credentials in cleartext.
Put another way, see if ssh and particularly sftp works here (either directly via the sftp command, or via a sftp GUI tool) works for your requirements.

HT201272 What course of action do i take to restore in app purchases that were lost ?

I recently bought the game Dead Trigger, I made a few in app purchases. played until my phone battery died. charged my phone, restarted the game and found all game progress was lost as well as all my IAP's. I dont mind the loss of game progress so much, but losing the IAP's is what makes me mad. Its like i just threw my money away. I reported the problem to the game manufacturer, still havent heard anything from them. If i check my purchase history for my Itunes account it shows the IAP's. what would be my next coures of action to restore my IAP's? thanks in advance guys

You can download apps again for free, but I'm not sure if this counts for all in-app-purchases. Maybe you should contact the developers of the app. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

Restore in-app purchase after country/region change

Please let me get to the point:
The scenario is I got an app from country X and made some in-app purchases for additional functions. Then I moved my account to country Y.
If I happen to delete this app and later install it again, can I restore the in-app purchase?
I suppose the key factor of this question is the availability of this app on the App Store for country Y. I haven't try it myself since I don't want to lose my in-app purchase. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
PS. To install it again, I believe there is two choices which are install it from my iTunes library (if the IPA is still there) or re-download from the App Store (if the app is also available in country Y).

There are 2 apps that unable to restore in-app purchasing after restore iPhone, TopikMiddle and TOPIK Card. What is happening with it?

I paid $0.99 for each apps TopikMiddle and TOPIK Card.

Several erroneous things in your post.
1. You don't have to restore the iOS to restore the last backup. After disabling automatic syncing on connection to iTunes (iTunes Prefs > Devices > Disable....), connect phone and right-click the device tab and select "Restore from backup." This restores the last backup without deleting anything on the phone.
2. If you had to restore the iOS, you could transfer your apps and other purchases to the iTunes library first - same procedure as above but select "Transfer Purchases."
3. If you did lose apps, you can re-download them without paying again, unlike music or media.

Restoring In-App Purchase

Hi,
We are trying to create an application which has in-app purchase turned on and are selling Digital Content. The Content is created dynamically and hosted on our server. Unfortunately according to the guidelines because the content is Digital it falls under Non-Consumable Category. We have set In_App ID which is used for all the digital books, but there are multiple books at the same ID and they are individual Purchases.
We are not setting Username creation currently and have no plans to do it also. Now the problem is that how do i Manage customers with multiple devices & restoring product if the customer goes and buys new device ....
So summary of queries:
1) How do i Manage non-consumable in-app purchases with Dynamic products via our server?
If this cannot be done what are ways to do it where we can create dynamic content and it can be made available to the users immediately.

This is presumably because you built non-renewable subscription In App Purchases within iTunes Connect, when you should have built renewable ones.

Restoring In App Purchase and DPS settings

Hi there, we received this rejection from Apple after submitting our app and are a bit confused. Does this have to do with the app submitted or a setting in DPS? Is there someone that can suggest how to handle so we can successfully submit our app?

Retrieving/restoring in app purchases from magazine no longer in app store

I purchased three issues of a magazine that no longer exists in the app store. I recently went to reread them and they are gone; I had downloaded them to my iPad. I would like to learn how to get them back. iTunes and PixelMags have not been helpful; the publisher has not written back. I regularly backup my iPad and so perhaps the magazines are there somewhere?
Any ideas? Thank you.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Hello everyone. I downoaded PES 2012 for my iPhone (3GS) the I unlocked it by paying EUR 4.99. Yesterday I upgraded my iPhone with OS5 and restored all apps purchased from iTunes. It works everything except for PES 2012 because was restored the application locked. Now If I wish play the game I need to unlock again the application and consequently I have to spent again 4.99 EURO!! How can I do to unlock the application without paying again money?

ATtempt to power off your device and power it back on, if that doesn't work reset all settings should resolve it for you

Thank you for using Photoshop Express. In our latest 3.0 version, we revamped the rendering engine in order to deliver great new effects, improved editing controls and a streamlined user experience. That means some things you were familiar with may not be available in this version.
In-app purchases have been renamedThe “Effects Pack” that you previously purchased has been renamed "Premium Looks Pack". You still have access to this Pack.
The “Camera Pack”, which provided Noise Reduction, is now called "Noise" and can be found in the Corrections slider menu.
Restoring in-app purchases. You do not have to initiate a re-purchase.
If you've previously purchased either of the packs above, they are still available to you by restoring your purchase, which is accessed in Settings.
Other changesPrevious Effects and Borders have been replaced with Looks, Premium Looks, and Borders. Some of the new looks replicate many of the most popular effects. We will be adding new borders, looks and sharpen controls in future releases.

There was a big change in Photoshop Express 3.0 in the rendering engine. Many items that users accessed often were incorporated in the new release before it went out, but there are other features that had to be implemented differently due to the new rendering engine. Many of these items are on a roadmap for future versions. There are yet others that are more difficult to implement and require more research as to how they would be added. I can't get my in apps purchases on Dismount to move from my iPhone to iPad

I can't get my in app purchases to move over from my iPhone to iPad. I have try to re buy but it says it's already installed so I can't even re purchase the in-apps. Suggestions?

I don't know that app particularly but most apps have some button called "restore in-app purchases"

Hi there! I think I've solved your problem. I went onto my "cause of death" app and pressed "restore" under the "play/resume" button. Hope this works out for you! I'm pretty sure you do the same for Surviving High school, too.
