Restoring Missing Reports

Hello,
Is there a way to restore the Out-Of-The-Box "standard" reports to System Center 2012 Service Manager (SP1)? For unexplained reasons our Production environment has all the OOTB reports, but our Dev environment does not. :-( I've checked,
SSRS is loaded and correct. There just are not any reports on the Database.
So I downloaded all the files from a folder in Production and uploaded them into Dev. No luck! :-(( They do not show up at all. I am using my admin account so I doubt it is a rights / roles issue.
Is there a way to install just the Reports from the CD? Which brings up the second question...
Why won't the uploaded folder's reports show up?

Hi Ray,
Go to Administration, Management Packs and filter with "Report Library". You have to see around a dozen of packs. Then visit Data Warehouse, Management Packs and filter the list there to make sure that all packs are successfully deployed. Then go to Data
Warehouse Jobs to the check status of the same packs there.
In general, you could export *Report Library packs, remove, and then import them again after MPSyncJob is completed to redeploy the reports. But if you have issues with SSRS it won't help you.
You can also check the reports in SSPS directly on the web page (http(s)://yourSSRSserverName/Reports).

It sounds like you need to recover some missing files but do not have access to the iWork '09 disc you used to install it. If you have a Time Machine backup and know what files you need, you can use the "Restoring specific files or folders" section of the following article to restore them:
Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac
If you do not have Time Machine, you will need the disc to reinstall the software suite.

When i am clicking ''post with correction'', the child materials are not copied to component list.

I think the Plant might not be Activated for "Negative Stocks",
Activate the Plant and storage location for Negative Stock, it might work
Get the help of MM consultant, this setting comes in SPRO MM
Do the trial in sandbox or IDES then try in Production server

You can re download them from the App Store. Open the App Store and tap the 'purchased' tab. Select 'Not on this iPad' and a list will appear with all purchases you've made.

Restore Deleted Reports?

Someone accidently deleted some reports from a page in APEX. They did not backup the page before doing this, actually they deleted the page and created a new onw with the same page num.
However these is a schema backup of al lthe schemas. I don't know which schema to look in, or even where to look to try to restore the reports.
There are about 30 reports.
I was wondering what is the best way to restore these reports from the database backup of the apex schemas.
If this is possible???

HID interface misses reports if mouse is connected on the same hub

Hello all,
I have designed a usb based oscilloscope for my device (HID Full Speed). It works fine. But when i connect the mouse to the same hub as the device, my device starts missing reports frequently. I have verified it both through my own software and a third party
software (USBLyzer) which shows that the PC doesn't poll my device every millisecond, which it should.
I have searched thouroughly but didn't find anyone facing the same problem. It would be very nice of you if you could help me identify and correct the problem. I have tested it on different PC also

Your hub is probably running out of "juice". If you power the hub via the USB cable connected to your PC then it can draw a maximum of 500 mA which it must distribute between its own electronics, the CRO and the mouse. To solve the problem you must use an
external power supply for the hub (if it has a suitable socket) or purchase a different hub that comes with its own power pack.

How to I restore missing StickiesDatabase file from Time Machine?

I have looked all over for a solution to this. Basically, I am trying to restore a stickiesdatabase file from a Time Machine backup. I put in a new HD and am slowly pulling files over in pieces. The thing is, the backup that had the stickies I want to restore did not seem to back that file up. I navigated to user/library to find StickiesDatabase, and it is not there, even though I went into the terminal and unhid invisible folders and files (other greyed out invisibles showed up so I know it worked). But here's the weird thing, when looking on my current hard drive, I could find that file for my new, empty stickies just fine. Also, I went further to a Time Machine backup from a year ago, and I found the stickiesdatabase file in the library as well. It's like these last two backups I did that had the stickies I want did not include that file in the backup. Any thoughts? Am I doomed? Oh, and I am currently on Mavericks and the backup in question was also Mavericks. And I have a 2008 Macbook Pro if that info is helpful.

There is another, huge thread on TM backups on this forum and exactly this issue has come up. Sadly, no one has a perfect answer. I do not have a spare drive available to test this myself, but I would try something along these lines.
-- Ask TM to restore your full Library and the Masters, if Referenced. I believe that TM will give you the option to not overwriting your current Library, but be careful. However you do, stick this "Recovery Library" out somewhere. (Yes, this is gonna take some time, run it overnight.)
-- Open "Recovery" with Aperture and select the Project(s) that contain the images you want. Export these "Projects as New Library." (Don't export as either Versions or Masters.) I would select the box "Consolidate Masters" and I would probably discard the Previews. Stick this somewhere.
-- Now open "Original Library" and import the "Library" that you exported back into your Original Library as something like "Stupid Lost Project."
-- You should now have a Project full of adjusted, and adjustable images. (N.B. this is basically the technique I use with my laptop. I shoot, load into AP3 on the laptop, noodle, and then export/import into AP3 on the MacPro when I get home.)
-- Clean up. (Delete "Recovery", convert the recovered Project back to Referenced Masters, if you wish, etc.)
One good argument for never throwing those old USB drives away.
I have missed some of the details in the process, so be careful, but I believe that this will work until Apple lets us run Aperture inside Time Machine.

Is there a way to restore missing lightroom files without the original files?

I am currently trying to reedit some old work, unfortunately, I lost the memory card with all the original files, is there a way I can restore the files in LR without the originals? I figure since the program still has some of the data and can show us a preview of the images, there should be a way around this.

I assume you copied the original memory card files to HDD during import into LR. Did you later move the files or the containing folder to another location from outside LR and now they are missing?

HT1451 How to restore missing playlists

I was updating to iOS 7 on my ipad 2. I did the upgrade through iTunes. First, I did a a complete sync and then did the upgrade.
After the iOS 7 upgrade and the restore to my iPad, I noticed that about half of my playlists were missing in iTunes. All my music is still in iTunes but playlists are gone.
Anything I can do to get the playlists back?

How to restore missing apps after a itunes sync?

Have iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.8
To install an app (Skype), my phone recommended I do it thru iTunes 10.5.2 (via usb tether)
Checked the sync box, selected the Skype app after I downloaded it in iTunes.
The sync process went thru a bunch of 'finding, removing, backing up' of my installed APPs.
When it was done, all my installed APPs were gone from my iPhone.
Tried doing the 'Restore' function, I believe.
That went thru some dialogs, but still no APPs were restored to my iPhone.
Some blogs say to use the 'Purchased' icon in the APP STORE app on the iPhone; there is no 'Purchased' icon. (there used to be, but not now)
Prior to Sycing I had more than 15 updates to install. I no longer have any updates, as the apps are gone I suppose.
Is there a back up of my iPhone APPS on my computer? The dialogs that were running and identifying the APPs that I have instaleld leads me to believe that iTunes was making a backup ,and that everything was fine.

When, if ever, was the last time you synced your phone with that computer? It sounds to me like you either set up a new sync relationship with a computer other than the one you normally sync to, or you set up a sync relationship for the first time since you got your phone. In either case, you apparently did not read the warning dialogs that popped up telling you that your phone would be erased and the contents would be replaced with what was in iTunes on the computer.
You're going to have to re-download the apps that you're missing now. It's easiest to do this from the computer (especially now that you have a sync relationship established).
On the phone, open the app store. Click on updates. Click on purchased. Select "Not on This iPhone" and donwload the ones you want.

I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 and cannot restore missing apps.

I upgraded my iPad 2 to the latest iOS 7 and lost several apps. Some of which I paid for, like Pages and Numbers. With that, I lost all the documents buried in iBooks, Pages, Numbers, etc.
I tried to sync with my computer, but one thing Apple does not tell you is that you must have the latest iTunes 11 to sync iOS 7 devices. I do not. I tried to up date my iTunes and learned that the operating system on my desk top does not support iTunes 11. And my desk top does not support the latest operating system. My desk top is working great and no reason to replace.
Next try was to re download the app from the App Store. iBooks was a success, everything came back, no charge. I had to pay for Pages, it appears to be an upgraded version made for iOS 7, no documents were restored. I do not see the older version available. I did not waste time and money on the rest of the missing apps.
Any suggestions.

How do I restore missing text in Acrobat XI Pro?

I've recently had an issue with letters disappearing from the documents I create. I do merge other documents, but the text that goes missing is from the main body of text. I've made many docs without this issue.
I've gone back and typed in the missing letters, but it's slow work and the latest doc I saved has a lot of missing letters.
Can I restore the letters to the doc, or do I have to re-do it all? How do I stop this from happening.

How are you creating the documents, exactly. What you're describing seems to me like some sort of font problem, but it's hard to say more without knowing more about how the documents are created and seeing some samples.

How can I restore missing icons?

The Skype icon has been replaced with the default paper, pencil, paintbrush icon. It shows this way in the dock and when i search for it in the finder. The program still works normally. If I duplicate the app, the Skype icon shows properly on the dupe version. If I then delete the old one and then rename the copy to "Skype" instead of "Skype copy," then it returns to the missing icon. I Googled this issue and everyone seems to have a different answer. I ran disk permission repair and that did nothing. I'm weary of doing anything with the terminal unless I know for sure it is a fix. Thanks.

Restore missing system preference pain HELP

so I have exhausted all avenues, tried EVERY trip and trip I could find online and here in Apple Support PLUS Apple Support Communities to try and restore this missing pain (I cannot access system preferences NO MATTER how much I try, and the last 5 days of searching has lead me to figure out, I am missing this system preference pain)
So how do I restore this very important part to my system. I am running the latest software on my iMac, which is a referbished system and I do not have any disc's and as I mentioend above, I have tried EVERYTHING, what does one do when this has gone missing? I'm about to throw the whole thing OUT THE WINDOW (no pun intended, I really do love windows too LMAO)

I only know enough to be dangerous, but this is from apple ( http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528) try this.
ALSO : open that make sure that tracker and any non mac program and find the preferences and sure that any non Mac program is set up to ask you before deleting any files .
How to disable the root user
OS X Lion
From the Apple menu choose System Preferences....
From the View menu choose Users & Groups.
Click on the lock and authenticate with an administrator account.
Click Login Options....
Click the "Edit..." or "Join..." button at the bottom right
Click the "Open Directory Utility..." button.
Click the lock in the Directory Utility window.
Enter an administrator account name and password, then click OK.
Choose Disable Root User from the Edit menu.
