Thank you for your helped will do this evening...I deleted lots of apps, podcast and games from my itunes library to clean it up and get space, when I tried syncing the ipod to the computer I can still see apps and podcast showing up on my ipod...Help please

WWith IOS 8 my highlights and notes in pubs are lost, highlights take over the whole document and you cannot take a step back without wiping out all previous highlights and notes with it. Never had this issue with IOS 7.
CAn't get any help from Apple.

I guess I've personally never needed to know when I updated an app or to have a list of apps I've updated. Wouldn't this be a problem in the future when you have years of updates to scroll through? It just seems like that would unnecessarily increase the load time of the Updates tab. It would still be nice to have an option to turn that off or at least make it a collapsible menu item or something.
I could see where it might come in handy if you have the automatic app updates turned on, but I have that turned off since I like to see what changes an app is making before I install it, so I don't need that turned on since I manually update my apps.

Ipod not recognised in itunes or my computer.how can i restore/format then?

on my work pc i can't see the ipod. when i connect it to an usb port, nothing happens, the "do not disconnect" screen does not appear, but it charges for a few minutes and it suddenly stops, and the battery is at minimum.
on my laptop, windows xp pro too, but a poorer configuration, i can see it, but still it wont charge. itunes says to restore, but i have some files that i dont want to loose, and when i go into disk mode and try to open the folder the laptotp freezes. is there anyway i can recover those files (photos) ?
and why my office pc, which has better requirements than my laptop, cannot see it? (both have xp pro)

The solution 2 ur problem is the ipod 5R's . u will need 2 reset ur ipod and if possble reinstall de ipod and itunes softwares. but first u will need 2 try reseting ur ipod , it will not delet the songs on ur ipod, it refreshes ur ipod. try that first. move de hold button near de earphone hole. it has a red sign. move that switch back and forth about three times and press de select button (middle ) and the menu button all at de same time , then hold dem both until u see de apple logo appears (apple sign). the release all buttons, ur ipod is reset. if this work then do the 5R's.to know wat de 5R's are go to apple.com and u will see it at de left hand corner of ur screen. it is five steps that will correct any problems u r having with ur ipod. it should correct them. it involve resetting ur ipod, restarting ur computer, reinstalling ur ipod and itunes softwares and runing de updator files, and all that. try it, if that dont work it means u will have 2 send the ipod 4 repairs.

Do you see them on the phone? If not, they are NOT "still in the phones hardware".
It's hard to suggest a course of action when we don't know what you did and you are unable to tell us.
If they are not on your computer, and they are not on the phone, I don't know what else to suggest...
Were you using iCloud? Did you have photo stream enabled? If you did, they would have been uploaded to iCloud. If you did not, then they are gone.

I've never seen this error but I'd assume that it can be fixed the same way many Mac application errors are: open your Library folder and look inside the Preferences folder for the com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist file and throw it away.

As many others have had this problem, my iPod only charges when connected with firewire. When I connect with USB, it says "Use the iPod Software Updater application to restore the iPod to factory settings"
When I try the iPod Software Updater, it says I need to connect via Firewire.

Answer to Question 1: - I connected the iPod with the USB, went to Disk Utility and erased the iPod. Now the iPod works with USB.

I've just discovered the answer, tap the screen below the top play bar in a seemingly blank area then another set of controls appears which were previously hidden and on the right is a little box which controls the speed. I don't understand the ONE AT A TIME lament, as it's pretty easy to email more than one at a time. Have you tried to and been unable or didn't know that you could?
As for no one receiving, well .... first, review how you're trying to do it and, as a check, email some to yourself. That will be a good first check.
