Restoring nano to mac BUT ...

Hi - I have a problem similar to a poster from 2 days ago. I have a nano that I originally formated to windows because the OS software on my mac was too old to support it. I finally updated my mac OS systema and would now like to use and update my nano exclusively on my mac. But I think I have a problem. I can restore my nano to the original factory setting so it can be formatted to the mac. But I now have a ton of songs on my pc. Is there a way I can get those songs onto my mac? I don't want to loose them. I bought most of them on itunes and would be essentially throwing all that money away.
Any ideas?

Never mind. Figured it out.
