I transferred photos from old IMAC to new one and some of the photos have very small resolution and I cannot edit in Aperture. How to restore to origina res

How did you transfer the photos? If you imported a library from the old iMac into a library on the new one that was NOT the way to do it. All you need to do is copy, i.e. drag, the library from the old iMac into the Pictures folder on the new iMac. Then launch iPhoto and let it open your library.
So if you still have the old iMac and it's library do what I described above after moving the library on the new iMac to the Trash bin.

A nice phone call to Apple usually results in a replacement disk being sent to you.
I understand your intention is to give this computer away. If you were selling it, not having the original install disks dramatically lowers its value.

How to save photos in original size with iPhoto?

I import my DSLM pictures (4000x3000) per camera connection kit to iPad. I would like to edit the pictures (in Photo Stream) with Photos and iPhotos, but both apps automatically reduce the picture size to my iPad resolution when saving - which is
not so brilliant. Now the manual says that this should happen in original size (!). So, please tell me how to do thsi?

DPI - Dots Per Inch - is meaningless for digital photos until you print them. Then to have a 300 dpi photo you need 300 dots (pixels) per inch of printed photo - so a photo to be printed at 1" x 1" needs to be 300 pixels x 300 pixels - one to be printed at 4" x 6" needs to be 1200 pixels x 1800 pixels -- once to be printed at 20" x 30" needs to be 6000 pixels x 9000 pixels.

How do I move Flagged Photos Event back to original event?

I made the mistake of thinking that I was making an event from flagged photos within an event. Instead, it created a Flagged Photos event of photos from ALL my events. I've read the instructions on how to put them back, but I can't get the events close to each other to drag from one to the other. Is there another way? Or can someone explain how to move the Flagged Photos close to the original Event? I have over 400 that I want back in their original places.

If you didn't make a back up then you don't have one. And you should. Immeadiately.
If you want move photos to a specific Event, flag them, select the target Event and go EVents menu -> Add Flagged Photos to Selected Events

Try double-tapping the screen with 3 fingers, then make sure that Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom is 'off'

Edited photo changes back to original when exported

I did some editing on a photo using the iPhoto editor - changed it from color to B&W and did some other tweaking. Saved the photo with the changes and exported it. The exported picture is the original color photo. Tried exporting it right to Flickr using the link in iPhoto and the photo came out in color. Quit iPhoto and restarted it. The photo in the library is in B&W, but when exported changes back to color.
Unfortunately I don't have Photoshop on my laptop.........so I can't do any changes there.

Sounds like your database is damaged.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Unshrink or revert image back to original size after adding headers.

I add headers to PDF files and it shrinks the document so that the header doesnt overwrite them.
When I remove the headers, is it possible to unshrink or revert the image back to the original size?

The only way I can find to be able to reset a frame to the size it was when it was created is to set the preference for "When Scaling:" to "Adjust Scaling Percentage" and then resetting to 100% will take you back to the correct size, but not necessarily the original position as this is just another transformation, not a reversion to anything. The BIG downside to this setting, in my opinion, is that if you scale a text frame, the listed font size won't change, nor will stroke weights be listed correctly on scaled objects, which can lead to a lot of head scratching.

Resizing Mac partition back to original size after deleting another mac partition (I also have a Bootcamp partition - unrelated to this issue)

I originally had two partitions - Mavericks and Bootcamp. I created another partition to install Yosemite. Then deleted it. Now I have a grey space where the Yosemite partition was. I can extend the mac partition and click 'Apply' in Disk Utility but after a few seconds, it goes back to it's original position ('Grey space' is still there) and Disk Utility doesn't give any error. I just verified on another discussion that one other user is also having the same problem. Anyone know how to fix this?

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This will return your drive to one partition with OS X installed on it. Your Boot Camp partition will be gone, but after adding a third partition you would not be able to boot from Windows. When you use Boot Camp you cannot have more than two partitions on the drive: OS X and Boot Camp Windows.

What was the original OS installed on the computer? Your profile shows 10.5.8, so you have installer discs that came with the computer. There is no use of Disk Utility in this process.
Boot from the Leopard installer disc, select a target, click on Options button and select Erase and Install. Click on OK button then continue the installation.
Booting From An OS X Installer Disc
1. Insert OS X Installer Disc into the optical drive.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Immediately after the chime press and hold down the "C" key.
4. Release the key when the spinning gear below the dark gray Apple
logo appears.
5. Wait for installer to finish loading.

Restore Photos from Back up not going as plan

Why will only half my photos download from the backup? When I click on the photo's it is still saying that it is downloading. The odd think is my really old pictures are there put my recent pictures from about 2 months to now are not loading just the ones that I have recently taken. Is there a reason for this?

These are photos stored on my laptop, and the ones that are in my photo stream are there it is the ones in the camera roll that keep saying loading.
