RESTORING VIEWING SIZE.

I enlarged a photo in my contact app.   Now the whole Ipad viewing is enlarged and not usable.  How do I restore the viewing size to normal?  Thank you.

If it looks like the whole iPad screen is zoomed-in, then try double-tapping with three-fingers, and then make sure that Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom is 'off'

  • Desktop went from normal viewing size to gigantic due to cat laying across keyboard.

    Ok, I know what everyone is thinking, but this request for information really is on behalf of a friend whose cat managed to lay on the key board. As a result, everything is gigantic. From the top menu bar to the dock and pointer, it's massive, making everything distorted. Any and all ideas on how to restore back to normal viewing size are greatly appreciated? Please advise.

    This could make a great physics lab demo. In ancient times we would rub a plastic rod with a cat skin to generate static electricity then touch a neighboring person for a shock. The modern version would be to take a live cat and gently rub it over the trackpad.

    I am referring to outgoing new messages that I am typing.

    Can you drag the bottom right corner? You can in Snow Leopard, and I imagine you can in Lion.

  • How can I disable a hover link in the phone view size?

    Hola
    How can I disable a hover link in the phone view size?
    I got this site where I got a gallery page,
    the pics have a hover/link state (?) where as you click in them
    they will open a bigger pic. (Prettyphoto)
    Thanks good.
    What I want to do, is that the hover state (?)
    won't show in the phone size.
    I know that I will need a media queries, but I'm not sure
    where or how to tackle this problem.
    This is the code where I have the pics
    <div class="grid_3 project-item bar">
                                             <figure class="project-img">
                                                 <img src="../images/gallery_pics/memos_bar_s5.jpg" alt="Memo's Cocina & Tequila Bar" />
                                                    <div class="overlay"></div>
                                                    <div class="mask">
                                                       <a class="icon-image"
                                                            href="../images/gallery_pics/memos_bar_b5.jpg"
                                                            rel="prettyphoto[gallery]"
                                                            title="The Bar">
                                                            <i class="icon-search"></i>
                                                     </a></div>
                                           </figure>
                                          </div>
    Thanks for your help

    If you don't want a :hover state to show in the phone css of a fluid grid layout, you would remove it from the global settings and only include it in the tablet and desktop media queries.
    Or are you trying to do something else?

  • How to restore views and procedures after drop user command?

    How to restore views and procedures after drop user command?
    We have 817 EE on NT and one developer created a lot of procedures, functions and vews. DB was not backuped and archived and export has not been done - our fault and we understand it. Sorry for this.
    Ok, now the story: another developer dropped this db user and we lost everything: procedures, functions and vews. The new user with trhe same name was created and new schema was imported in this user, but all old objects are lost. We don't have export and backup and archive log files.
    Question: may we can restore this lost stuff from some other sources. We are looking for lost codes, not data. May be we can use redo logs or shared pool or any other things. Any idea will be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Victor

    The switch has occurred after user was dropped, the data has been overwritten and there is be no way to use redo log files.
    I would like to explore another opportunity. Is possible to use Shared Pool or any Data Dictionary internal information to restore texts of the lost SQL and PL/SQL scripts executed in this DB before user was dropped? Not too many scripts are executed in this DB and the lost ones may still be in stack. I remember that Shared Pool (cash) should keep last executed scripts in order to improve performance. They probably are kept in some special format. Can we restore these scripts? Of course they also might be pushed out by Import that had been done after user was dropped.
    Thanks for your help,
    Victor

  • Default View Size In My Own Template

    I have created a template of my own called “My Template” and have set it to open automatically as a new document in preferences. Everything works great except it opens at 100% view size I want it to open at 150% view size, I’ve tried saving it as a template to the templates folder as the same name as above and it retains all my changes except view size. Is there any way to save the default view size of a template so it opens at 150% ? When I save a template as a document it remembers my view size and reopens at the larger saved view size but my saved template reopens at 100% not matter what I do!

    Actually my mistake I just read the instructions for pasting the text below into the terminal window and then press "Enter" NOT "return". I was pressing return which didn't work so the line of code below does work to set the default Zoom on a template.
    defaults write com.apple.iWork.Pages SLDefaultsPageScale 1.25
    Complete instructions below:
    1. Go to Applications > Utilities, and double click the Terminal icon.
    2. In the window that comes up, paste the following text:
    defaults write com.apple.iWork.Pages SLDefaultsPageScale 1.25
    3. Press the enter key.
    Next time you open Pages, the zoom factor will be 250%.
    (If you want some other zoom factor, just replace "2.50" with for example "2.25" for 225% or "0.50" for 50% and so on.)

  • Mailbox viewing size and configuration has changed.

    Incoming Mailbox view has always appeared as nearly full screen, but recently as a reduced-size rectangle showing only four rows of new message titles above the contents of first message. I can enlarge total view size by dragging corner and re-centering, and then draw top section down by dragging the dot, but all reverts the next time mail is opened...most perplexing. Have searched Mail Utility, etc., for solution to no avail. Request assistance, please. Thanks!

  • HT4759 outlook viewing size

    hi
    Not sure i am putting question at right platform as i tried a lot however was unable to contact apple via e-mail. I have recently purchased macbook pro retina and use Microsoft outlook 2011 and Thunderbird email client, for my office and personal mails respectively.
    I have been a windows user in past and one problem i see with both clients is viewing size of email fonts. If font size is increased may be it helps but then the recipient will also get large fonts. On other hand Command + also works but not to all windows of the interface.
    Thus i am left with option of viewing mails with such a small font size. I am also planning to use 21 inch Samsung LED in office with my macbook. As being 6"3 in height it helps me to have good posteur in office. However on that screen i am sure the mail size will be very very small.
    I request apple to look at this critical issue in their next OS launch and anybody who can give me a solution will be highly appreciated.
    best regards
    NABAIG

    Apple don't make either Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird. If those two applications do not have preferences to set the font size of emails (I'm sure Outlook does - its predecessor Entourage did) then the makers of those applications would need to add it. Apple cannot add features to other companies applications.
    Mac OS X already has options for increasing font size, and making text easier to read for people with eyesight problems.

  • Max "viewing" size for photos?

    I did some searches here but didn't seem to find what I needed.
    Question: When a viewer clicks on a thumbnail to see the larger pic, can I change the "viewing size" (not the download size) to a larger dimension?....say..850 wide for landscape.
    Thanks in advance for any help

    If you want to show off your images in a bigger size you could forget about the Photo template and load your thumbs onto a blank page. Make each one a link to a new page where you can put the enlargement as big as you want. You could probably increase the page width to at least 1200 px without it running off the average screen.
    To stop your navigation menu getting out of hand you would exclude all these "enlargement" pages from the navigation in the "page" inspector and provide a "back" button to return to the thumbs.

  • Default Viewing Size

    Since upgrading from CS5 to CC images open with a default viewing size that is very small, like 3 - 5 %.  Can this be changed to "Fit to View"  I know that it is just a case of COmmand-0 to make it that size, but one less thing to do would be nice.
    Thanks
    Craig

    Here's what I think is happening:
    1.  You didn't realize that the Application Frame is just an option, so you dragged the bottom up so that Photoshop is a very short window.
    2.  You later turned off the Application Frame while it was very short.
    3.  Under some conditions, now Photohshop still thinks it wants to open documents and make them fit in the (now hidden) short application frame.
    Try this:
    Re-enable the Application Frame.
    Stretch the bottom of the Photoshop window down so that it (nearly) fills your screen.
    Disable the Application Frame again.

  • Is it possible to change dynamicaly VC table view size (width/heigth)?

    Hi gurus!
    So the question is: Is it possible to change dynamicaly Visual Composer table view size?
    Particularly I'm interested in changing table-view height; the objective is not to use table-view paging option, instead to show all returned data rows at once.
    Thanks in advance!
    --- Kaspars

    Hi Kaspars,
    I would say there is atm no possibility to change the table view size dynamicly, because you can't input a formula into the size field so the size is fixed as you enter it.

  • Restore view settings when reopening document

    Hi
    I have checked the 'restore view settings when reopening document' in the preferences as I was under the impression that this would restore the document to the last page I was reading when I closed the reader. However, it doesn't, it always opens the doc at the first page.
    Has anyone else seen this issue? How do I fix it?
    I am running Win 7 64-bit, I've tried running reader as administrator but that makes no difference.
    Thanks
    Matt

    Hey fellas!!
                   I noticed the same issue while reading a novel.So,posted a query and came across your disscussion.Some of my pdfs were doing fine but some were not.I compared the document properties of both the type.Limitations on a pdfs display depend on the producer.If you a viewing a pdf produced by adobe in Adobe reader then it'll work optimally.In case it's not working,then check out the producer and use a compatible reader.
    e.g : My problematic pdf was created using Foxit .Fortunately I had the unused foxit software in my system for some time!I Installed it today and it worked like a charm.Easily available through google search and loads faster then adobe reader!
    P.S.  Looks like our queries have been resolved.But I would love to know of a way to open such files in adobe reader.(Thogh I dont think adobe will take responsibility for some  me know alternative producer).So if you happen to find a resolution just let me know here : [email protected]

  • PDF adjust view size

    Hi there!. When saving a PDF file in Illustrator, what should I do so people who opens the file can see the document ALWAYS as "adjust height" view size?
    Hope you can help me!
    Nat

    There is nothing you can do. This is completely out of your control. While you can define a default view for your PDF, the user can override such settings on his own end.

  • How to post back to another view or skip restore view phase?

    Hi, I have a small application with a template used by every page. In this template there is a button to logout as shown below
    <h:form id="logoutForm" prependId="false">
       <h:commandButton id="logoutButton" action="#{loginBean.logout}" value="logout"/>
    </h:form>It works, but has the undesirable side effect of first triggering processing included in the constructor of other backing beans used in the page. This is because JSF first restore view of the page, and in doing that it instantiates every bean used in the view. Then after restoring the view it calls the method logout in the loginBean.
    I wanted a way to change the action of that logoutForm, but it seems it is impossible in JSF.
    Is there anything I can do to post back to another view, skipping unecessary processing that occurs in the restore view phase of the view that includes the template with the logout form?
    Thanks

    JSF is a stateful API - the stateful part is the building of the component tree server side. To be able to do this, the backing beans need to be invoked.
    So no, it is not possible to do this and keep JSF in the loop; if you really must bypass the creation of the beans, make sure the JSF servlet isn't invoked (for example, use a plain old servlet).
