Restoring when phone is already set up
My iPad was recently set up from a backup from iCloud. I had to do an old backup because I has to update my iPad to get the recent backups. Once I've updated can I get my newer backups on my iPad. If so how?
After updating your iPad, go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Conent and Settings. Then go back through the setup screens and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup.

Everytime i plug my phone into itunes it says it cant connect because the phone is locked well i restored my phone twice and set a new passcode the last time and it still wont work . I even deleted itunes and reinstalled it , it dosent work . HELP PLZ !!
I had the same issue. I tried everything unchecking / rechecking, formatting Iphone and restoring from backup etc etc.
In the end it was a simple issue which might of might not help you.
A number of months ago I relocated by Itunes folder to a NAS drive. It appears when I did the last I tunes update Itunes set the destination path of the Itunes media to the default location, the result was Itunes couldn't install music,apps, video until I set the correct destination path.
The bit that confused me was it was transferring some media. This was of course the media I had downloaded since the last Itunes update which had gone to the default location.

How do you change apple id for icloud if phone is already set up. Need to give each phone in my account their own apple id for icloud so that we dont receive each others messages but can still all use same id for purchases.
Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

Settings > general > reset > Erase all contents and settings, ensure that you select iCloud backup when prompted by the set up assistant.

Firefox doesn't go by the file extension like other browsers might. Wrong MIME type or a missing MIME type and Firefox will ask you what you want to do with the file. -
ITunes is forcing me to set up a phone that is already set up
I just updated iTunes to 11.4 and plugged in my iphone 6 which is already set up but itunes automatically brings me to a screen only gives the options to set up as new phone or restore from some 3 year old back ups. How can I tell iTunes that the phone is already set up?

I did a full system restore to my phone along with the new 7.0 update. Now I went to restore my phone setting back through Itunes and it goes through all the steps but when it is completed it wont get past the "Connect to Itunes" screen

Screen in iTunes asking me to restore my phone when I've already restored it.
I have restored my iPhone 3gs today as had problems after updating the OS, I am using the up to date version of both OS and iTunes. Now when I go into iTunes it comes up with a message asking me to restore my phone, it's already restored! Have tried restoring it again, but still getting the same message. iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone “Stefan’s iPhone”. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings.
