Restrict CO Report by Plant

Dear gurus,
Is there a way to restrict CO tcode with Plant?
For example, in tcode KB01, i've enabled check for Plant in SU24, but it's not working.
How do I link the plant restriction in that tcode?

How to restrict the Report based on sales office

I am using BW 3.5. I have a requirement that my sales report should give output to particular user with his respective sales office only.
For Example :
User,   Sales Office
   A , Delhi
   B, Mumbai
User A should not be able to see the data of Mumbai Sales office. As both the users using the same Report,

Hi,
To do this, you need to make the infoObject Sales Office authorization relevant.
Create an authorization Object using the t-code RSSM for this InfoObject. Restrict it with Activity.
Create a role for each of the Sales Office and restrict your authorization variable with that office.
Now you have 2 roles for eg. One for Mumbai, other for Delhi. Assign them to respective users.
Create a authorization variable for Sales Office and restrict your report with that.
Use the below documentation for creation of Authorization Object.

Sales report for plant wise

Dear All,
I would like to know the sales report for plant wise, my client is having 1 sales org & 3 plants , will this do or can I go for more sales orgs? If so how will I get the plant wise report?

You can view the list of sales orders in VA05 with plant as the selection criteria. Though Plant is not included in the Further Selection Criteria, you can add this by following the below steps.,
Goto IMG - Sales & Distribution - Sales - Lists - Define Selection Criteria - execute
In the screen - goto New Entries and add the following details..
1. Program Name - SAPMV75A
2. TRG (Transaction Group) - 0
3. Display Group - K
4. Event - SELK
5. It - 8
6. Field Name - WERKS
Enter the details and save the changes. Goto VA05 and you can see the field PLANT in the Fur Sel Criteria.

Report with plant and expenditure data.

My clients requirement is as below.
Need a report from Plant maintenence of the total spend per plant for 2007
Report columns should be:
Plant Name -- Dollar Spend
can any one suggest any one table or a combination from which i can pull the data?

I can give you some idea how to give such kind of report.
you can extract data from bseg giving all the g/l's of expenditure with the plant on the input screen u can give Plant & FY.the logic would be as soon as the user enter the input data the zreport reads amount posted to all the g/ls for that particular FY for that particular plant.

Restrict on report printing / converting to excel

Hi All,
Client is asking to *restrict on report printing / converting to excel and other forms (plain text, docs..... ) for certain roles.*
Is this possible to do for some particular role???
If not what all restriction we can put with the same context in general. so that i can reply to my clients accordingly.

As soon as the data is displayed it can be theoretically copied and printed (CTRL-Y to copy). If you use excel all the data is already on the frontend PC and SAP has no influence on what's happening with it.

Un-restricted total stock for Plant/Material/StLoc combo, Split-val & WBS

Hi
Users need Un-restricted total stock for combination Plant/Material/StLoc combination ; we have MARD-LABST.
Further, needs WBS & split -Valuation materials stock in the same report or SQVI. I tried to create SQVI, but it`s giving WBS stock as multiple times for SLocs.
I`m using tables QBEW,MSPR,MCHB in the table join.
Pls advise me suitable solution as Std SAP report or SQVI.

But, I need unstricted stock for Mat/Plant/StLoc also to be displayed in the same report .i.e. MARD-LABST.
The MBBS gives stock at Plant level for WBS.
Can both be clubbed? Or need to get from separate reports?

Vendor Report per Plant for Non POs

We want a report that shows the Document date, the Invoice date, the vendor, the Plant, the value for Non POs. Is there any table or report, which can provide us with the mentioned data.

Thank you so much for your quick response. Just wanted to confirm if MB51 includes the vendor with PO and Non POs. As I am specifically looking for Vendors with Non POs. eg a consultant to a plant can also be considered as vendor who has no POs. I am trying to collect that information.

Want to restrict the vendor at plant level

Hi Experts,
As per standard SAP, once the vendor is extended to comapny code then buyer can place order in any plant of same company code. My client wants to restrict the use of vendor at plant and after some business approval, will allow to use the vendor for specifc that plant. Could you please help me, how can I acheive this ?

There is no solution for you in standard you have to develop something yourself.
It is even possible to create purchase orders before a company code view is created for a vendor master, hence it cannot be controlled via company code blocks. The block at company code will have an effect on goods receipt and invoice receipt, which is too late.
Purchasing blocks can only be set at purchasing organisation level. Even you can create a vendor with a plant level , it is not possible to set a block at this level. If this purchasing organisation serves many plants then a block will affect all plants.
only with a purchasing organization specific responsible for a single plant you can meet your requirement in standard with a procurement block at purchasing org level.

Stock Transfer Report from Plants within company code

Dear SAP Experts,
We have posted nearly 50 MIGO of stock transfer from our different plants within the same co. code since last 45 days. Now we want to take report of all stock tranfer receipt in our plant. (Like MIGO No. date, material code qty supplying plant etc.)
Is there any standard T-code like MB51 which can give us the desired information. As in T-code MB51 there is no option to select supplying plant.

Hi Ishu,
Go to SE16 enter the table EKKO or EKPO press enter it will take you to selection screen there you click on settings --> Format list --> Chooge fields , system will take you to all the fields avail in EKKO or EKPO there you click on deselect icon then you select fields Purchase doc,date ,Material,Qty and supplying plant then click on copy, system will take you to the previous screen there you click on excute icon.

Restricting access to certain plants - any suggestions welcome

Hi,
I have been asked to create a small number of new plants for our business which are only to be viewed by a small number of people. Now the plants will have the same initial letter as a number of existing plants (this can't be changed).
For example, the new plants might be AB01, AB02. The existing plants are A001, A002, A003.
Many of our authorisations at plant level reference this first letter:
i.e. The user can see all the plants beginning with the letter A*.
Can anyone think of a way whereby I can restrict the access to the new plants without having to change all the existing authorisations?

Without authorization you can go for customized developement,
search for standard user exit & take help of abaper to complete it.

Restricting Payroll Report PC00_M08_CALC

Hi All,
I have been tasked with looking to prevent payroll administrators running a payroll on a specific area, that our business is no longer responsible for. The transaction I am looking to restrict is PC00_M08_CALC.
It appears possible to restrict access to running the report by removing access to IT0009 in object P_ORGIN, this of course will then prevent users viewing that particular infotype within the individual personnel record.
Does anyone know how to restrict the reprot itself from running the payroll for a specific area ?

Hi Simon,
You should be able to combine instrances of P_ORGIN in the role, to allow display access to IT0009 in the role for the areas you wish to retain, while denying any kind of maintain access to the infotype for the restricted area.
What criteria will you be using to restrict the access - is it as simple as using personnel area?

Restricting SPRO for a Plant

Hello,
My objective is to restrict SPRO to a specific plant.
I have seen SU24 & it is just proposing 9 out of 136 auth objects when I add SPRO to a role.
Is there any auth object in SPRO that can be manually added its usage to a specific Plant?

Your main problem is that much of SPRO is table maintenance and the plant is just a field within the table.
There is an optional object called S_TABU_LIN which can be used for this (defining the WERKS field as an org. criteria in the views) but it is not really suitable for splitting the whole of SPRO based on plant access.
Anyway, why do you want to do this?

if its on the protal side its very simple . u can go to content admin and create new role or roles and can manage this.
If on R/3 side u can manage this by structural authorisations
