Restrict creation of Change Document without a change request

Hello Experts,
Is there a way within Charm to restrict the creation of a change document through crmd_order or a business transaction and instead force the creation of all change documents to start from a change request? Some users are bypassing the approval process through sdcr and are using the push button in crmd_order to create a normal correction without having the change approved.
Please advise on a possible solution to fixing this issue.
Thanks
Mike

Hi Raquel,
Thanks for the quick reply. The problem is that the individuals that have access to create an SDMJ or SDHF are the ones creating them directly from crmd_order instead of through the sdcr approval process. From what you are saying I guess there is no way to force them to go through sdcr instead of creating an sdmj directly from crmd_order if they already have access to create a change document?
Thanks
Mike

You can move the iTunes folder to a separate drive on your pc an then configure each account to use this drive / folder as iTunes library ... The problem is, that iTunes by default stores everything in your personal music folder which is separate for each user account in windows (and by default is on "C" drive).
I create a separate partition on every pc/laptop (and map a drive name) where I store music, videos and other mass data. This will also keep the "C" drive small, which is backed up from time to time and so my backup is also small.

  • How identify closed accounting period to restrict creation of billing document in sap

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to identify the  closed  periods in sap based on this we need to restrict the creation of billing document .
Actually we are working for  Brazil  client, there we have notafiscal   which created along with billing document.we are maintaining  periods monthly basis.
When the periods are closed  accounting document not created and billing document is created  this is working fine . But over scenario along with billing document notafiscal number is also created which  is causing the problem. This notafiscal should not be created without a accounting  document.
so my client wants to restrict creation of billing document also when these monthly periods are closed.
    Please suggest me a solution.

To check if a period is closed using the FM FI_PERIOD_CHECK.
First calculate the period of the FI document date.

  • How can I paste a part of a sheet from Numbers in Pages as text, without the formulas. The reason I need this (and was used to in Office) so that I have the freedom to delete something in one cell (in pages document) without causing changes.

How can I paste a part of a sheet that I copied in Numers in a pages document without the formulas, simply as text. Used this a lot in Office. When I make some changes in the pages document. f.i. deleting a cell, I don't want to change other cells. Also when I copy a part of a sheet from Numbers and one of the cells that is part of the formula is not also copied, when I paste in Pages it shows as an error.
Hope that You can me help with this.

    Leon,
There are two solutions to the first question, narrowing to one solution when you have a broken link causing an error.
    Here's the "works always" solution.
Copy (Command-C) the table or range in Numbers
Click off the table on the blank canvas of the sheet.
    Edit > Paste Values
    Command-C
    Switch to Pages
    Command-V

  • How can I close a document without saving changes?

    I'm using Pages 4.3 with OS10.9.1.
Before I upgraded to OS10.9.1, when I closed a document (Command W) it asked me first if I want to save the changes I'd made to the document. I had the option of saving or not saving.
Sometimes I want to close a document without saving the changes, for example if I edit a text, then decide I prefer the unedited version.
But now that I'm using OS10.9.1, when I close a document, it automatically saves any changes I've made.
How can I get back to the original option of saving or not saving changes when I close a document? This option was available with the same version of Pages, when used with an earlier OS.
I've searched the Pages Users Guide, but can't find any answer, or default settings. Pages Preferences doesn't seem to address this.
I'm not using track changes, so I don't think that's the problem.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

[Viking: I am using v4.3. ... See my orginal post.]
But I found the solution, for anyone else who is having the same problem....
Open your computer's System Preferences > General, and click the box "Ask to keep changes when closing documents."
Now, when you close a document in Pages, a window will open giving you the option of saving changes or not.
(I don't know whether this works in Pagesv.5., buty it works with v.4.3)

  • Where can I see change documents for all changes to WBS elements

I have set up config via OPSA for both Basic Data and Status Management change documents to be allowed for nominated project profiles.  I have then created a new project with the required project profile and whilst I can see the history for status  management / user status.  I am unable to see changes for other field information.
Is there a way to be able to see who changes the data like (wbs description, person responsible /applicant, profit centres etc)?
I have checked table JCDS and that only appears to give me status management.
    Thanks
    Trish

    Try transaction CJCD or CN60

  • Change Management without Oracle Change Management Pack

    Hello,
is there a possibility to define a change management process without having access to the enterprise manager?
The administration of the databases in our company is done by an outsourcing partner. So the developers can't access the enterprise manager.
    siret

You are going to have to provide a lot more information for anyone to help you from the basic ... like in what version ... to the specific ... what functionality do you want?
In general none of the "packs" run any code not in the database in the form of built-in packages. For example much of the functionality of OEM Grid is implenented in DBMS_ADVISOR, DBMS_MONITOR, DBMS_SERVER_ALERT, etc.
But without specific questions no specific answer is possible.
You can find demos of the above referenced packages here:

  • Lightroom 5 Export TIFF tonal change, even without making changes in Photoshop

         Hi there,
I seem to experience a mysterious issue when Lightroom creates an Edit Tiff for external editing. I have this issue only with one picture it seems. I tried to replicate it with another, but it doessn't happen.
So here's what happens. I already had an Edit.tif of a DNG. Then I noticed I wanted to do some final retouching in Photoshop with the healing brush, but I also did some minor adjustments in Lightroom on the Edit.tiff, so I decided to create an Edit-Edit.tif.
Then when I went back to Lightroom, I noticed the Edit-Edit.tif was all of a sudden lighter in the shadows than my Edit.tif.
I tried some trial and error investigation myself, to replicate the issue. I couldn't replicate it with other pictures. But when I tried to do the same thing again, except this time no Photoshop editing to the Edit-Edit.tif (so Photoshop didn't ask me to save), same thing happened. So at least I found out it doesn't have anything to do with Photoshop.
Anyone any idea what this could be? I would greatly appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Dennis

Problem is solved. It turns out, it probably has to do with the interpolation mechanism of Lightroom displaying dark area's with color noise a litte different.
    Thanks anyway for reading!

  • Restricting Change of Routing without a Change Number

    Hi Techies,
In BOM we can restrict the change of a BOM which is already changed by a change number. Is there a same way using which we can restrict the change of a routing which we have changed once with a change number. The client does not want any engineers to change it without a change number.
Can you please advice on this.?
    Thanking you in advance.
    Regards,
    Kris.S

    Hi Techies,
    Thanks for your reply.
I checked the setting in OP5A. I was able to make the field for change number mandatory. But i want to make it mandatory only after a Routing is changed with a change number.
Until then i don need to make it mandatory for history requirements.
Is this possible just like assing the field C_STUE_NOH to the Routing transaction and making it No (") and mandatory for changing routing with the change number?
    Is this possible?
    Thanking you in advance.

  • Change documents with persistent class

    Hi,
I have created a persistent class and want to use a set-method to change data in the mapped table - nothing special.
But: Does anybody know if there's a possibility to write change documents for the changed field without calling FMs like CHANGEDOCUMENT_SINGLE_CASE?
There would be the event if_os_state~changed but unfortunately no information about the changed field itself is available in this event. Is it possible to redefine events?
Thanks a lot for each answer!
    Best regards
    Jörg

    Hi Narin,
    thanks for your answer!
The first point is plain to me (although I don't really feel happy about this ) but I have problems understanding your second point because I don't really know what "Business object events" are... I'll try a different phrasing, maybe this is better:
My persistent class inherits the event if_os_state~changed. Can I redefine this event in my class so that I can add an additional parameter where I can put the information about the changed attribute?

  • How to display list of TCodes with Change Documents enabled

    Hi
I have 42 transaction codes (e.g. QA11, QA12, QE51N, QE01, QE02, MM01, MM02) and I want to verify if "change document" logging is enabled for the critical data elements in these transactions.
I'm aware that you can individually check "change document" setting per table via SE11 > Enter Table Name > Technical Settings > “Log Data Changes” option.   Given the number of transactions (with multiple data elements) I need to check though, is there a  table in SAP where the field, table, tcode and existing change document setting can be viewed?

  • Track a field by using Change Documents

    Hello,
Does anyone knows how to get the history changes of an Equipment Classification? (IE02 -> Click on Classification tab).
We have a requirement that needs to fetch an equipment number based on a classification change. Everytime a value changes on a particular classification (TEST_ID) we need to populate the corresponding equipment number affected in this update.
We are using "Change Documents" to track changes from the equipment master information but I have no idea how to track changes from the Classification information.
Any ideas would be highly appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello,
I assume it is quite easy but I don't get it.
I have 2 tables ANTRAG and PERSON and I want to update
    UPDATE ANTRAG SET SysKD = (SELECT DISTINCT PERSON.SysPERSON FROM PERSON WHERE PERSON.SysVM = ANTRAG.SysVK AND PERSON.SysVM > 0) WHERE ANTRAG.SysLS IN (11,12);
This delivers the error "subquery returns more than one row". I assume due to the fact that I have more than one record in ANTRAG which fullfills ANTRAG.SysLS IN (11,12).
    PERSON.SysVM > 0 is needed because there are records in PERSON and ANTRAG with PERSON.SysVM = 0 and ANTRAG.SysVK = 0 (but not where ANTRAG.SysLS is in 11 or 12, these have all ANTRAG.SysVK > 0).
I have no clue how to get a single returnvalue out of the select statement.
    Thanks for help
    Regards
CarstenIt means that your subquery is returning more than one row of data so it can't set SysKD to just a single value.
That implies you have more than one distinct PERSON.sysPERSON value that matches the where clause.
Without your data, we can't help you any more than that.
