Restrict the quantities during backflush in REM.
Hi ,
During MFBF , we can do the GR for a product without entering the planned order, for any quantity.
Can we restrict the qty of GR during MFBF, so that any large number is not entered.
I tried to control it with Lot size in the production version and rate routing .
But it still allows to enter any large qty.

REM - Reporting Point error during Backflushing
Hai PP Gurus,
When i am backflushing in REM (MFBF), System shows following error..
Error reading reporting point information
Message no. RM111
And then system suggests the following reasons...
The repetitive manufacturing profile has been changed in the current session.
You have not defined any milestone operations in the routing.
When creating the product cost collector, no reporting points were created.
But i checked all those things. But the system shows the same error.I could not found anything wrong what the system shows. What would be the reason beyond these.
(Actually first system reads the RP correctly. After that i changed one of the UOM in the BOM component. That particular material is purchased with EA & issued by using Meters. So first i used EA & then chamged to M.For this i maintained unit of issue in material master for that material. Now i changed all those things that means Unit of issue & UOM for the BOM component. So the position comes like prevoius. But the system shows the above mentioned error...)
Expecting your answers...
Thanks & Regards,
S.GaneshrajaDear Ganesh,
this is the help given by the SAP, while " Error reading reporting point information" is coming
Two alternative solutions are possible:
1.Assign a repetitive manufacturing profile with no reporting point procedure to the material in the material master record. or
2. Recreate the reporting points by recosting the product cost collector. To do this, the following prerequisites must be met:
In the material master record, in the production version, you must enter a routing under either detailed planning (first priority) or under rate-based planning (second priority).
Milestone operations must exist in this routing. The system ususally automatically creates the reporting points from these milestones when creating a product cost collector or when creating a production version.
To recoast the PCC Goto KKF6N -> select material Number -> select active production version -> select change icon-> select COST.
After getting message , use Goto option select dispaly cost estimate then select itemization from COST menu.
here u can, whwther the required operations have been selected or not.
then goto MFBF now you can do reporting backflush.
please try, if any error comes letus know..

Restrict the quantity fields from changing in ME54N during PR release
Hi All,
I have created a workflow for purchase requisition release strategy . Apporver's will login into ME54N transcation from the attachment in email and provide Release/Reject on PR . At that when any approver login to ME54N the item detials are in change mode so that user can able change quantity or other fields in the ME54N Transaction . So how to restrict the Approvers for not changing any quantity fields on the PR when it is being released .
Thanks and regards,
Dilip KumarHi-
I do agree with all other comments.
Also discuss with you functional consultant, say if any of the field which determines release strategy is changed by the approver, then end the current workflow instance and start the new workflow instance based on new release strategy (obviously new set of approevrs)
This is possible as SAP will trigger the corresponding event, if any of the field which determines release strategy is changed, (if release stratgey is configured properly).
You need to build the workflow in such a way, that if this event occurs, then end the current workflow instance and start the new workflow instance.

Reporting Point Backflush in REM
Dear all,
Consider the following scenario for RP backflushing in REM:
Total quantity produced on the line : 2 pc
There is one intermediate reporting point and one final reporting point.
REM profile <b>0004:Report. points with activities</b> is being used.
Now, at the intermediate RP i confirmed 1 pc.
At the final RP the system allows me to confirm 2 pc with a warning.
How do i prevent this? I want the system to only allow as much quantity to be confirmed as has been confirmed at the previous RP.
Kindly advice.
Regards,
SumeetDear Sumeet Vaidya,
Please give a try with this user exit <b>XMRM0001</b>.We used for a different
purpose during backflushing.
I'm not sure whether this user Exit works for this reason.
Please check with your ABAP consultant for more details.
Please check & confirm

Dear PP gurus,
I am working on REM , during backflush through t.code MFBF, systsm is giving message : No material
components available" , Although BOM and routing .,, production version is properly defined, also all the component material is available in stock .
Please help.
Warm regardsDear Adhish,
1.Check whether your BOM status has been set 2 - inactive under the BOM header,if so means make
to 1 - active and then check in MFBF.
2.If you are using a change number with released key for BOM creation means then check whether the
release key has been set to 1 in the change number header in CC02.
3.check whether prod.version is locked for any usage purpose and also check in KKF6N -->whether its
picking up the components for the preliminary cost estimate.
check with this and revert back.

MFBF can exclude bom component during backflushing ?
Dears.
When i confirm repetitive production using MFBF the system consider all the components of the bom.
One component of this bom have field backflush in mrp2 view of mateial master setted to blank.
I need that MFBF exclude this component during backflushing.
But MFBF consider all the components despite backflush field in material master.
Do you have a solution in order to exclude this bom component during backflushing ?
Pay attention that i need to plan this bom component , so production relevant flag in bom is filled.
Thanks in advance.Hi,
In standard SAP, it is not possible to automatic exclusion of BOM component during backflusing in MFBF.
As suggested by expert Caetano you need to do enhancement using the said BADI.
Also in REM profile if you remove indicator "Error correction for Backflush" and remove the material from storage location level then your requirement may fulfill. Test and confirm the same.

How to restrict the Qty & Val in MIRO for Customs
Hi Xperts
I have a reqmnt.
I have found in case of Import procurement process , we are not using GR based IV Indicator in the PO.Also we need to perform MIRO for Customs prior to GR.
1. Hence users need to manually enter the qty/val for all the duties during MIRO(Custom). I have also chkd that users can enter more than the PO-Qty & more then PO-Condition Value as well during that.
2. Also user can do MIRO(for Custom) multiple times as they wish, though MIRO(Custom) has already been completed for that item.
Ho to restrict the above in AP?Plz suggest.
Rgds
SoumickYou requirement can be achieved by enhancement in MIRO.

How to restrict the GR for Production Order when Goods Issue is not done
Hi Gurus
How to restrict the GR for Production Order when all the required components for production order are not issued with all required quantity. Even for partial issue system should not allow GR with 101. The user status with RMWA, RMWF & CGFB is not working.
Pls suggest best solution.
Abhijit.Hi,
You can club together the GI nad GR at the time of confirmation..
I.e Backflush for the components and auto GR for the Product.
So that you can stream line the Process.
The best Option would be to use the User Exit:
Enhancement - MBCF0002
Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
Include - ZXMBCU02

How to restrict the manual accrual posting in Rebate?
Hi friends,
I am working with Retroactive Rebate.
As on now, the total accrual posted to FI is 20000 INR.
If I am taking the past Billing documents into consideration then the Total accrual is 35000 INR.
So, I need to post a Manual Accrual for the difference of 15000 INR. It is running fine.
Now, I want that user should be able to post more than the difference amount. During Manual accrual posting, one can post any amount he wants which I want to restrict upto the difference amount.
That means, system should not allow the user to enter more than the difference amount.
Can any body please guide me how to do it?
Regards
PradyumnaHello Pradyumna,
there is not standard way to restrict the manual accrual value.
Are you using the old rebate processing (with S136 not active) ?
If so I would advice you to pass to new rebate processing. See the note 105681.
In this way the retroactive rebates can be easily handled.
If you prefer to old rebate processing, please try to test the report RV15B005 to post accrual for old invoices

How to Create a Selection Variable for restricting the querry output
Hi Gurus,
I have created a query in query designer on a Multiprovider and the output of the query is a Formula in a structure which calculates a % value, the client is looking for entering a range of number during the query selection screen and the output should be restricted to the given selection values.
Can any one tell me how i should create a selection variable that would take the input from the user during the query selection screen and then restrict the output to that value which user specified.
Is there a need to write any customer exit or is there any alternative way to make the query work as the requirement is.
I hope this explains my problem but if any questions please let me know so that i can give u specific information.
Thanks,
Nisha.Hi Nisha,
Firstly, in order to restrict the query output by a key figure value, you will need to create a condition on that key figure. This is done in the query deisgner. Now when you are creating the condition you can also use user entry variables (formula variables with user entry) to let the users enter the value that they want to see.
See here for more details:

How can I restrict the total no. of recs. per physical page
Hi !
I have created a report and I am saving that in a text file. The
problem is that when I try to take the output on the printer
then the total no of records overflows to the next pages and the
next page heading comes much below to it's designated place.
Max.no of records property in the repaeting frame is for the
logical page.
How can I restrict the max. number of records per physical page ?
Any pointer will be welcome,
Thanks in advance,

nullJust for fun (and in case this wasn't done to death in the other thread), the rule posted here states:
Most years have 365 days, but a leap year has 366 days. That adds up to 52 weeks (where each week is exactly 7 days) PLUS 1 or 2 additional days. The year 2012 has exactly 366 days. Now if the year starts on a Sunday in a non-leap year, you end up with 53 Sundays. Or if either of the first two days lands on a Sunday during a leap year, then you can also get 53 Sundays.>
which allows a calculation like this:
with test_data as
( select rownum + 1999 as test_year from dual
connect by rownum <= 15 )
select test_year
, case
when first_day = 'SUN'
or ( first_day = 'SAT' and leap_year = 'Y' )
then 53
else 52
end as sundays
from ( select test_year
, to_char(to_date(d.test_year||'-01-01','YYYY-MM-DD'),'DY', 'NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE=ENGLISH') first_day
, case extract(day from last_day(to_date(d.test_year||'-02','YYYY-MM'))) when 29 then 'Y' else 'N' end as leap_year
from test_data d );
TEST_YEAR SUNDAYS
2000 53
2001 52
2002 52
2003 52
2004 52
2005 52
2006 53
2007 52
2008 52
2009 52

Restrict the system to create the delivery for certain quantity
Dear All,
Can we able to restrict the system for the creation of delivery for some quantity.
For example
We have created the sales order for 100 quantity.
Now we want that at the time of delivery creation system must restrict to some quantity (say only 5 qty not more than that)
looking for your reply.
Regards
PawanHi,
Can please checkout through the following areas-
1. In sales order at item level maintain underdelivery tolerance as 95% of 100 qty.
2. Check in material master of sales view i think some functionality but its work all the materials not for particular sales order.
3. Write the code in exit V50STAT at the delivery creation for quantities.
Rewards if it helps

Internal Order restriction with Plant during PR & PO
Hi All,
Generally we create budget based PO for each plant.
So we have defined internal order for each plant and we assigned those order during PR and PO creation
But my requirement is i want to restrict the Order with respective Plant
e.g If Order VX123 is created for plant A then Plant B can not use this order during PR and PO.
So can it be possible in std SAP or i will go for Enhancement?
Regards
PRDear Priyaranjan,
You can achieve above requirement by using the Badi, at the time of creation/change of PR and PO.
For PO use ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
For PR use ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST
