Restrictin GR after delivery date

Hi,
I want to make the setting such that user should not make the GR if material received after the Delivery date in the PO, so is there any setting for this.
regards,
zafar

Hi ,
I think this should solve this issue ,
While creating PO under Delivery tab >>> Set >> Latest GR Date  and use  M7163 as error
Info from   SAP Note 856279
Fill the date field for the 'Latest Possible Goods Receipt' (LEWED)
in the purchase order item. If you do this and you enter a GR
document after this date, the system issues message M7163, which
you must set as an error message in Customizing.

  • VL10B - Creates delivery for STO after delivery date

    Hi All,
VL10B batch job is scheduled to create delivery for STO automatically when stock is available (availability check 02).
batch job creates late delivery though sufficient stock exist
For ex. STO is created on 27 Aug 14 having delivery date 31 Aug 14. (STO is having only one line)
VL10B batch job having delivery date as <= current date + 1.
logically batch job should create delivery on 30 Aug 14 but in my case it is created on 07 Sep 14.
Please help me to understand the cause of this.
    Appreciate quick response
    Regards,
    Anil Patel

    Hi Anil
    See note
1245447 - Avail. check for deliveries that are created automatically
"After you implement the corrections, the availability check is only deactivated when you create the delivery automatically. If you make changes to the delivery afterwards, the system runs the availability check.
The availability check is deactivated for the automatic creation of deliveries for technical reasons."

  • Addition of discount % if Material received after delivery date

    Hi,
I have a requirement, in PO we add the delivery date now user want to if material received after the delivery date  then 2% discount to be added on the base value of material,
Can we configur this in system.
    regards,
    zafar

    Hi,
You make use of the Discount field in MIRO while posting the Invoice and here you need to calculate manually the Discount amount.
If you want this amount to be calculate automatically, then need to got development. Ask you abaper to compare the Delivery date in PO & actual Delivery date. If its later, then he need write a program where in it will calculate 2% of Basic price & default that price into MIRP Discount field under payment tab while posting the respective invoice.

  • Material availability date can not be after the delivery date

    Dear Experts,
we are using the following scnario,
    1. Once the user creates the sales order, automatically system creates PO in the background.
we have created Bapi program for creation of Background PO in SD User Exit.
The following issue occurs in Prd, DS1, QS1 server, We have done Technical upgradation project, Now when we creates sales order automatically po created with error message of Material availablity date can not be after the delivery date. even sales order no also not updated in the PO.
QAS server (without technical upgrade) i refered the same input parameter and used the same and create the sales order system generates PO automatically without error message.
Does any one can through lights on this issue,
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Muralidharan S

    Hi
The dates are determined due to shipping and transportation scheduling settings. So check whether the shipping and transportation scheduling is being performed as per the cofiguration settings after Technical upgrade. Since the MAD date should not be after Delivery date but it seems that the dates are not determined properly.
Also check the Transit  time, Loading time, Pick/Pack time and Lead time are retained as same as before the technical upgrade. Use the QAS server settings to validate the settings in other servers.

  • MIGO should not create after PO Delivery Date

    Hi,
We have a PO with multiple line items and diff. Delivery Dates...
We want that during MIGO Process, Posting Date should not exceed to PO Delivery Date.
Means, if PO Delivery Date is 05.07.2014, then MIGO should not created after this date...
    Please suggest.

If you want to achieve the scenario with standard settings, then you can use the field "Latest GR date".
Just put the same date as delivery date in this field. Then  system will not allow to do GR if the Posting date is exceed with compare this date in MIGO.
You can find the latest GR date in Delivery tab in PO. Also you can maintain the field as mandatory in PO to avoid the field value blank as per your requirement.
Also if you want to change Latest GR date along with delivery date, just take the steps which is explained in this document Mass changes from one field to another field.

  • Change in Expected Delivery date (EDD) field in the PO after final release

    Hello Experts,
There is a business requirement, whereby after PO final release is completed & when the PO is released for further processing, no further changes should be possible, except for the expected delivery date (EDD) field in the Delivery schedule tab of the PO Item details. Other than this, no changes should be possible in the PO, neither qty, nor price, not even the simple PO text should be allowed to get changed. In other words no field should be allowed to change.
Ideally, except the EDD field, other all fields should be in grey mode, or atleast changes in any of the PO fields (except EDD) should not be allowed to get saved after the PO is final released.
Please let me know if SAP provides any such facility, whereby you can selectively choose certain fields (like EDD field) on which Release Strategy should not be applied & changes should be allowed in these fields even after PO final release.
    Thanks in advance,
    Zafar.

If you go to OMET transciton and here you can assign the field selection key in the field FieldSe
and assing the User parameter EFB in user id of the user using SU3 transction
    for more help see below
Create a Functional Authorization in the Following path:
Material Mangement - Purchasing - Authorization Management - Define Functional Authorization for Buyers
Now, in SU3 trxn ,Give the User Parameter EFB in the user master Parameters Tab and give the parameter value.
create the fields selction which you want use here in PO field seleciton config.

  • If free upgrade is available to those who purchase after 6 June 11, Purchase should mean the order date or the invoice date or the delivery date?

If free upgrade is available to those who purchase after 6 June 11, Purchase should mean the order date or the invoice date or the delivery date?

Apple usually has gone by the invoice date, which is the date Apple usually considers to be the "purchase date" for warranty and other programs, but precise details for the Mac OS X 10.7 Up-To-Date program have not yet been released, so that may differ. We'll have to wait until they open the program to know for sure.

  • Delivery dates not affected after route determination

The dates found on the shipping tab in delivery header are not affected after a route determination.
In sales order, if route is changed, the dates are affected.
In delivery, the route is re-determined at delivery creation, but if route transit time is different the delivery dates are not affected. It retains the sales order dates.
Need system to change dates according to new route.
    Where is this set?

    Hi,
Transit Time and Transportation Lead time comes from Route while Pick/Pack time and Loading time comes from Shipping point.
May be in your case, while re-determination of route, just check if the time is enough to affect the date i.e. more than 24 hrs or so
Hope you got it what I intend to communicate

  • Statistical-relevent delivery date not showing up in PO after upgrad to ECC

    Hi Gurus,
After upgrade to ECC, Statistical-relevant delivery date (PO Item details --> delivery schedule tab) is not showing up when I convert PR to PO from Stock requirements list(MDO7).
Could you please help me out this issue.

Maintain the item category in your material master at sales organisation level and try again.
Also Please Check the delivery item category determination in trxn code 0184 there you define which item category is to be found for the combination of delivery type NL and item category group.

  • Delivery Date changed after order placed, iphone 4S

    Hi all,
I just noticed that the order I placed on the 12th, with a delivery date of the 21st , is now stating a delivery date of the 28th!! I called CS and of course they are saying there is nothing they can do. Has anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions?
It is quite disappointing, Verizon should of never promised delivery dates if they could not meet them.  Thanks!

Check your local stores and see if they have any in stock. If so, cancel your order and go pick  one  up in store. If you look at the Apple site to order you'll notice that (at last check) the shipping is 1-2 weeks out so that's a pretty good indicator that demand was high. This would explain why your order date was pushed back. It happens all of the time. It sucks but it's bound to happen when something is selling very well.

  • Delivery date differs in the VETVG table after the BOP run.

    Hi,
I have created a STO with multiple line items with multiple delivery dates in the same STO. We have APO also
E.G. 1st and 3rd line item have todays delivery date(01.03.12) and 2nd and 4th line item have 05.03.12.
for the 1st and 3rd line item the system have material availability and we get the confirmed committed quantity from the APO system and got deliverd successfully.
for the 2nd and 4th line item there is no stock in R/3 and APO sytem, and we get the committed quantity as 12/31/9999, once the material is available, BOP run happens it gives committed date in the STO delivery schedule, we found the committed date between EKET table and VETVG table is different when we try to do it for the future date, i want to understand how the committed date arrived in the VETVG table and why it is differing from the EKET table, for the 1st and 3rd line item, the committed date is same in both the table, plese advise.

    Hi
You can change the dates with userexits if you have specific requirements. Please, see these notes:
SAP Note 414484 - VL10: Delivery creation date all up to today (user exit)
    SAP Note 198137 - VL10: Customer-specific enhancements / user exits
If you have any kind of 'accident' while you are trying solutions with records in table VETVG, see SAP Note 61148 - VL04 VL02 AME807 AME815: Insert to table VETVG.
    I hope this helps you
