Restricting the Decimals in Info Space of Explorer 3.2 SP2 - FP 1.1

Hi,
Is there any way that we can restrict/not to display the Decimal values in the output of Info Space that is created on top of a BEx query based universe?

Info Space creation error on top of .unx

Hi All,
Version of SAP BO Explorer installed in our machine is 4.0 SP2.
BI Platform version is 4.0 SP5.
Issue 1:
While trying to create Information Space out of .unx, getting the below error:
Failed to retrieve the data source details.
The creation of the data source object tree failed.
No issue in Info Space creation when using Excel as the source.
Issue 2:
When trying to use the Personalize option, getting only Partial results.
Can anyone suggest me on the above 2 issues?

Updated Explorer to SP5.
Now, the screen goes black after providing the login credentials.
In some machines, able to view the screen.
But, the option to create Info Space is greyed out.
Also, once i click on Manage Spaces, the page is getting loaded for sometime finally ends up with the below error:
Failed to retrieve the data source list.
Request timed out
Any suggestions please.

I have a JPanel which I have registered as a Drag Source as well as a a drop target. Now I have a header in the JPanel and need to restrict the Drag source to the rest of the JPanel except for the header.
Also there are various polygons drawn on the JPanel. The positions of these can be changed. I need to restrict the drag and drop to these polygons. ie if a drag is initiated on any blank space it should not continue and the drag cursor icon is to be disabled.
Can u give me ideas on how to go about this

How to restrict the dropdown values in Att/abs type in Record Working Time

Hello experts,
We are implementing ESS business package. In the Record Working time, within the Weekly View and Daily View tabs, there is a column Att/abs.type which has several drop down values - like: floating value, Funeral Leave, Military Reserve, Regular Attendance, etc. Our requirement is to restrict the dropdown values by means of showing only one of these values (say: Regular Attendance) and others should not be shown. How do we achieve this?

How to restrict the width in selection screen,

HI all,
Can anyone help me in solving this issue. i am not able to remove the horizontal scroll bar in my selection screen. i gave line-size as 200 if i reduce it the entire program is getting colapsed. is there anyother way of restricting the width of the selection screen.

Hi Guhapriyan,
If your (horizontal) scrollbar is displaying, then two things need to be considered:
1. The width of the screen (and in some manner the screen resolution).
2. The total length of number of controls (e.g. inputfields), texts and spaces between them.
In case of too many controls you'll need to understand, that dispite SAP shows texts on your screen in a proportional format, actually internally it uses a fixed format. Therefore a text of 132 characters long showing on a 80 'column' width screen will show almost all the text AND a horizontal scrollbar.
To solve it you need to keep track of lengths and positions.
Important: The standard width of a selection screen is 80 characters. You must modify your 1000 screen via transaction SE80 (and prevent regeneration).

How to restrict the delivery quantity not more than target quantity?

Dear Gurus,
How to restrict the delivery quantity not more than target quantity in a scheduling agreement? I think there are 2 methods.
1. I found that setting 0 in Overdelivery Tolerance Limit in Info Record is not effective. Why?
2. I want to set E for the message but can't find the place. The message is generated when entering and saving quantity as delivery quantity that is larger than target quantity. How can I set E to a message (067, as I remember)
Any other effective method? Please advice. Thanks.

It is not OK after checking everywhere you mentioned. I tested in 2 clients. In the development enviroment client, it works whatever E or W. In test enviroment, it does not work (meassge is W).
I think there must be somewhere besides of those you menetioned.
I notes that SAP help for the overdelivery tollerance setting of scheduling agreement:
Overdelivery Tolerance Limit
Percentage (based on the order quantity) up to which an overdelivery of this item will be accepted.
Dependencies
If you have set the indicator in the Partial delivery/Item field to 'D' (partial delivery allowed), this takes priority. It makes no sense to define a tolerance limit for overdelivery in such case.
Where can I see: 'the indicator in the Partial delivery/Item field to 'D' (partial delivery allowed)'? I want to check it.

i want to restrict customer from selecting orders not more than 10 either the same product or different one. i got the solution for same product but the problem is when i am trying to restrict the customer from selecting items more than 10 by changing some code in StoreCartFormHandler.java . i cant able to get that....... and i'll also explain what are all the changes which i have made in that like putting condition for overallQuantity attribute it was not effecting the code. can anybody please tell me what else i've to do...

Is there a way to restrict the cursor at the end of a line in the source code editor??

In the source code editor, the cursor will always follow where I click. But I wanna restrict it at the end of a line, just like other text editors do. Is there a option or sth? I can't put up with it any longer.

The source editor in the LabWindows/CVI environment is constructed under the concept of virtual space.
At the moment, in the current version of LabWindows/CVI, this is the default behavior, which cannot be changed from the editor preferences dialogs.

Hi Gurus,
I have no idea on authorization concept in BI. Please give me anyone steps to creating authorization objects, roles and profiles to restrict the data for users.
Ex.
i have functinal location info object checked as authorization relavent with below data.
FL001
FL002
FL003
FL004
FL005
FL006
FL007
FL008
FL009
We have users like below.
User1
User2
User3
Now, if User1 is analysing a report he can see only FL001, FL005, FL009 only, remaining have to be omited.
If User2 is analysing that report he can see only FL002, FL003, FL009. And like wise.
So, Please help me providing the completed steps. I have done somting but failed.

Treo 755p The free data storage space on the device is low. Some data could not be saved

After having the Treo 755p device for only a week, I am receiving a message "The free data storage space on the device is low. Some data could not be saved." I have over 55 mb of free space according to the device info page. I cannot find anything about this in the knowledge library, can anyone offer help?

My problems are similar to Lauren, but backwards. For months now I have had problems with my Treo 755 reseting randomly. Sometimes during calls, sometimes while typing, sometimes while just sitting in the holster. As many as a dozen a day and then not at all for 2 weeks, no rhyme nor reason. This Free Space error though is brand new to me today and quite strange. The error is showing up when I bring my phone out of "sleep". I press the end button to sleep the phone and everything is fine. When I press it again to wake the phone up the error is sitting behind the keylock waiting for me.
Obviously I have done nothing yet for this new memory error, but I've tried everything for the reseting. Deleting software, Soft and hard resets, software updates, everything I and Sprint support can think of. With this new Free space error now I am going to just take it to a service center and demand a new phone. I think there is some kind of hardware error as I have done nothing in the programming. No new programs, no deleted programs, no changed settings.
I loved my Treo 650 and never had any problems with it. I am getting very disappointed in Palm now though with these ridiculous problems.

In selection screen for the select options or parameter declarations I need to restrict the operator options , like when they click for any select options it will give options to select = , #, <, <= , > , >=
all these options right.
I would like to restrict the user to select only > and >= while passing values.

Restrict the movement of cursors on xy graph

hello.
I have an XY graph, with values of 0-10 in X, and of 0-10 in Y. I have two cursors in the graph.
I do not want the cursor is out of the graph area of 10 * 10, I disabled the auto scale, but the cursor can get out of the area of 10 * 10.
I also hope that the value of X of the cursor0 does not exceed the value of X of the cursor1.
I hope you can help me with these restrictions on movement, thank you very much.

Hey there, If you want to restrict the value of the cursors you can use property nodes to do so..
Here is an example; you just need to get the value on X of the active cursor (0 or 1) and then compare those values; if the value is smaller; you can use a case structure and a property node to coerce the values.
