Restriction of Reverse GI - 262 movement type after GR for order with 101

Hi all,
How to Restrict Reversal of Goods Issue by 262 for a Production order after Goods Receipt (GR-101) for Porduction order is posted.
eg will make more clerity.
Step 1- After creating Production for Finished Material, I post Goods Issue GI against production order with 261 movement type.
Step 2- Confirmed the Production order for Finished Material.
Step 3- Make GR for Finished Material with 101 movement type.
Now If i want to Post Reversal of the Goods Issue posted previously with 261 movement type for Semifinished Material, system should not allow to do that, but system allows me to do same with 262 movement type.
as the same material i already issued against production order & is consumed. so if some one want to makes Reversal GI with 262, it should not allow.
Please help.

Go through the following steps-
1) Tcode BS22
2) Select CNF and double click on it.
3) New entry
4) RMWA- Goods Movement set as prohibited. save

You can TECO the production order if reqd since delivery complete status of the order.
or you can go to system status and do as explained .

262 Movement Type Issue - Does not check order

Hello,
A material is issued via a 261 to an order.
Say this order is now complete and we want to do a 262 back into stock SAP does not check whether or not the material had ever been issued to the order I entered in my 261.
Is there anyway we can have a 262 movement type check whether the material is in the order we enter?
N.B. I am aware we can use MBST, however this doesn't help for partial reversals.
E.G.
MIGO - 261
Material     123456789
Order2       123XYZ
Plant          1234
MIGO- 262
Material    123456789
Order2      RANDOMORDER
Plant        1234
The above scenario will post okay. We don't want it to as Order 2 has never had anything to do with material 123456789.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You did not read my problem.
As I have said using MIGO to reverse the 261 does not check if the material was issued to that order. If I wanted to I can 262 back to an order that I've just found randomly....
My question was how can we get SAP to check whether the order we used has issued that material before (in the 261).

comparison of the field status variant of the movement type and GL

Change Default Movement Type in a PM Order

I configured an order type (from a Maintenance Order Category) and the default movement type for this order type is 261. However, the movement type I want for this order type is 311 (transfer posting - one step). Is it possible to change the default movement type from 261 to 311? If yes, please explain how I will go about this.

I have configure the same for plant Maintenance order, The problem is I am facing - system create reservation for the same maintenance order, but in that reservation destination storage location is missing. How to resolve this issue. I cannot use this reservation without destination storage location.

Thereafter go to T Code OPL8 to maintain there dependent parameters and assign it to desired plant

In our case If user has done wrong production entry for a Particular inspection lot & it has also cleared by quality, how to reverse this i tried for removing Inspection Type Tick & do 322 movement type but as stocks are lying in quality for the material so we cannot remove the tick,It gives the error message as below

To deactivate QM, the inspection stock for the
material must be empty
Please guide how to handle this issue

Hi,
You can do following things --
1. First reverse all the production order with movement type 521
2. then with that all your goods movement will get reversed.
3. Mass closing of production order/TECO of production order.
4. after this create fresh Production order.
5. then you do rest of the operations.

Error UCD1038 regarding Movement Type after upgrade

During testing for the BW upgrade and implementation of BPC, the SEM-BCS data collection resulted in an unexpected and unnecessary error: Maximum selection does not contain value 600 of subassignment Movement Type; Message no. UCD1038.
Both before and after upgrade the task log shows Source records with the movement type but with no value in transaction currency, local currency and group currency. But after the upgrade these records also appear in the Target log where there had previously been excluded.
SAP Note 1583871 was implemented without any noticeable improvement.
The SEM-BCS data collection uses load-from-datastream with a source databasis that is virtual cube reading data from the ECC leading ledger. The source data is unchanged and before the upgrade the error did not occur.

Diagnosis
This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.
System Response
In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.
Procedure
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.

I have gone into MB1A and entered movement type 554. I can't find where to indication 05 Inspeciton Type. (Also, by take UD do you mean to change the UD? )
I tried doing the 554 movement without entering the 05 Inspection Type and I get the error:
                                                                                Change the inspection stock of material R15290 in QM only
Message no. QA495
Diagnosis
You want to make a stock posting to/from the inspection stock. This is
     not allowed for material R15290 because the quality inspection control
     has been activated by QM.

I have copied a Reversal movement type 982 from a SAP standard 602
Now I wish to add movement type 982 to the reversal of movement type 981
How do i do this please ??
Currently there are no entries at all for the reversal of 981
Edit - New entries is also Greyed out

Using SE16 T156, I can see that 981 was copied from Z0A movement type
However this movement type no longer exists in our system - probs deleted
Would it be wise to delete movement type 981
and then re-create again copying from 601 and adding the correct reversal type ???
- Or is there another way that I can add the reversal to 981 as it currently stands ?

Movement type in third party order

There would be no movement type for third party sales if the vendor is sending the material directly to the customer.
If you think logically the movement type is "the actual movement of goods" that is mapped in sap when we do the PGI.
Since we are not doing any delivery in the case of above explained(i.e. material from Vendor --> Customer ),there would be no chance to think about movement type.
So if you check the standard schedule line category CS in VOV6, you cant find any movement type assigned to it(fact is thats not at all required in this case).
There is also one more case in third party sales where vendor sends material directly to the company, in this case its company's responsibility to send that material to the customer(i.e.Material from Company-->Customer).
Here company will be doing delivery and PGI(actual movement of goods starts here) and they will invoice to the customer is well.
In this case we need movement type.
The movement type to be used in this case is 601 and standard schedule line category is CB. If you check CB thro VOV6 , you will be able to find the movement type 601 here.

Movement Type 321/322 for Quality Inspection in warehouse

Hi Experts,
I have stock of 950 To in Leanwarehouse in plant. I wanted to move 50 TO material or Quality Inspection to same leanwarehouse 0001 by movement type 321 but it throw error
Deficit of SL Stck.in qual.insp 11 TO : 1727 4040 0001
In MMBE I saw the stock for the same material. Why there is an error? It is also not blocked.
While I tried with movement type 322 it got accepted.
Can anyone explaing the reasons for this I shall appreciate.

To transfer the material from vendor consignment to unrestricted stock you must use movement type :411 bwith special stock indicator K.
