Restriction on movement type,storage location on USER ID

Dear Guru's,
I have to restrict movement type 311 on some storage location for some user ID.Following is already done but not able to restrict the movement of material on other storage location rather than defined:
1) Maintained authorization objet M_MSEG_LGO with two storage location ST01,ST02 and movement type 311.
2) Using BADI MB_MIGO_BADI and maintained Z table with USERID,Mvt type 311,storage location ST01,ST02.
Still we are able to do Mvt 311 on other that defined locations in authorization objet M_MSEG_LGO and Z table....
Kindly give ur valuable suggestion to resolve the issue......

For your requirement only I have suggested to create multiple role. In one Role you specify SLOC & MOvt type(only 311) in auth object M_MSEG_LGO & M_MSEG_BWE for slocs where you want 311 movt. In other Roles of goods movt you also specify other SLOCs & all other movt except 311. I mean in the other Role you cant keep the movt type as * in auth object M_MSEG_BWE.
So its a combination of SLOC & MVT tye. Try & give feedback

For Object
M_MSEG_BMB     Material Documents: Movement Type
M_MSEG_BWA     Goods Movements: Movement Type
M_MSEG_LGO     Goods Movements: Storage Location
Revove the Movement type 309 , for the particular user.

First of all there no std setting for this kind of requirements and second thing you can use the user exit based on the stock type selection it should post in to particular storage location
to do that use user exit MBCF0009 (take help of ABAPer to implement this)
but you can not make based on the movement type and the reason is suppose you are doing GR against the PO with Mtype 101
you can do this for QI stock
Blocked stock
etc
so you can not make based on Mtype becusase same Mtype will be used of all kind of stock receipt for PO.
so use above user exit based on the stock type logic ystem should put the storage location.

Restriction for Movement type 202

The user should only be able to do the 202 Movement type in MB1B with reference of 201 Movement only .

HI,
202 movement type is the reversal movement type of 201 (goods issue to cost center)
when we cancel material document with 201 system create reversal posting with 202
And you can manually enter 202 movement type also in MB1A and MIGO
Now if you want to restrict user to use 202 directly
GO to OMJJ -> select movement type 202 ->allowed transaction ->Remove MB1A and MIGO and save
So you can only cancel a material document of 201 to create 202 not possible to create manually (without reference)
{IF in future needed you can always add those in OMJJ again}
You can cancel material document is through T. Code MBST
This will fully serve your purpose

Restriction of movement types at storage Location

Hi Gurus ,
My client requires that no user should be able to use movement type 261 and 262 from 2 out of 5 storage location of a plant .
please let me know how can we achieve this.

Hi Abhi,
create 2 different roles
1) in the first role give him the Authorization for a Storage Location A and B, and give him all the Authorization for rest of the Mvt Types Except 261 and 262
2) In second Role Give Full Authorization for the Storage Locations C, D and E.
Use the above given Objects and fields.
NO FS and NO Approvals Required in the same.
else it will be going to be a long and complex methord using BADI and User Exit,
and in future you will always have to depend on the Programmer.
This will work for your Scenario.

Add restriction in CO11N for storage location without doing goods movement

Hi experts,
my requirement was to restrict user for some storage location in CO11N, though i completed it using badi "WORKORDER-GOODSMVT" there is some issue.
Some user just confirm the order in the front page only they are not going in for goods movement tab. Thats why the order get saved for the restricted storege location also.
I try to use badi "WORKORDER_CONFIRM" but it is not showing the line details.
is there any way to restrict the storage location in the front page only or make goods movement tab compulsary.

Hi,
I managed to do it with 'WORKORDER GOODSMVT" method BACKFLUSH.
Now it is showing the proper error message at the front screen.
BUT WHEN I PRESS ENTER IT IS GIVING ERROR ' EXCEPTION CONDITION DUPREC RAISED".

My Scenario is " while doing goods movement in confirmation screen (cor6), the header material is assigned to 3 storage location , Now is there any USER EXIT so that it has to be restricted to 1 storage location ,we dont want authorization control"

Limit movement type plus SLoc by User

Dear All,
I face a problem right now, I know that SAP could restrict a use on movement type and Sloc. But when I try to combin them I face a problem. For example:
I will only like to allow A user to use movement type 261 and 262 in SLOC 0100 and 311 in Sloc 0200. Could I do a setting for it? Currently, my setting allow User A to have 261,262,311 in both Sloc 0100 & 0200.
How can I set up this restriction. Currently, the warehouse is now enable. So could I have some other method of getting it done?

As i understand SAP Standard will not have authorization movement type and storage location specific. If you have authroization of storage location 0100 and 0200 the user will be able to use for all the movement types he has authorization. May be you can do enahcement using exit/badi (MB_MIGO_BADI or may be enhancement spot) by creating z table with user id, movement type and storage location. while posting a goods receipt or issue if the entry does match in the z table it should throw error.
Not sure if WM allows a work around.

Thanks for your reply. We first try to use the user exit CMFU0002 - Set parameters for time confirmation and goods movements. However, the system doesn't see this user exit while we are trying to consume materials from a storage location.

Restricting the movement types...........URGENT ISSUE

Actully 'm, a basis consultant , i have problem with mb1b Transaction code..
Myproblem is
i have 4 plants 1,2,3,4 now i want to restrict the goods transfer between these plants like
01---02 -
accepted
0201--
accepted
0103--
not accepted
0104--
not accepted
0203--
not accepted
0204--
not accepted
And 1,2,3,4 plants must transfer goods to vendor
i'm trying by using movement types 301 for plant to plant transfer and 541 for plant to vendor
i have created two roles in one i was restricted company code 1 and 2 with movement types 301 and 541
and in another role i was resricted comany code 3 and 4 with movement type 541 only..
If i give thes two roles to diffrent users it is working fine, but if i give to same user but it is not working..
I don't have functional kw......This is an urgent issue.......please suggest how to restrict..

It's possible to move a material (with batch) from a storage location (stock blocked) to another storage location (stock blocked) using one movement? If yes, what's the movement? If not, what is the simples way to move it?

Restrictions of movement types in MIGO

Hello,
When I select goods receipt in MIGO, I would like the system to avoid using 201 movement type. I mean, if I select goods receipt, it should only work for goods receipt
Is there a way that I can block other movement types like this?
I tried to do it from
SPRO->MATERIALS MANAGEMENT -> INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND PHYSICAL INVENTORY ->SETTINGS FROM ENJOY TRANSACTIONS -> SETTINGS FOR TRANSACTIONS AND REFERENCE DOCUMENTS
and tried to put some restrictions, but it did not work.

Hi
Access to mvt types can be restricted through authorizations. Check with your basis person (auth object is M_MSEG_BWA).
If you want to skip a particular transaction in MIGO then deactivate it in IMG - MM - Inventory management & phy inventory - Settings for Enjoy Transactions - Settings for Goods Movements (MIGO) - Settings for Transactions and Reference Documents. Select the transaction MIGO - click transaction/event (you can deactivate goods issue here or) - Click goods issue - deactivate which ever are not required. You cannot see deactivated options here in MIGO.
